Dr Ehlers is the best Chiropractor that I and my family have ever been to. His office is warm and inviting with wonderful treats always available for his patients, as well as kid friendly movies playing to keep the little ones entertained.
Aside from the nice office experience, the quality of his adjusting is what really matters. I am active in sports and have always suffered from back and neck pain. He is always able to go directly to the area of pain and within a few adjustments I feel so much better.
My mom suffers from severe neck pain and sinuses. After a few visits to see Dr Ehlers she stopped taking sinus medication and is able to work out again with no neck issues. she also has been able to decrease the amount of other prescription medication she has been prescribed to take by other doctors.
Dr Ehlers is professional, inviting and nice. He makes me and my family feel very comfortable. It is worth the money it cost to achieve a healthy spine and body! I highly recommend you come in and see this Dr. and see all the ways that his work can improve your quality of life!!!

Dr Ehlers is a lazy chiropractor. He takes too many vacations and days off. How can I get better when he’s never available. Then he hires a half ass chiropractor to take his place
That can’t even adjust my lower back properly. Ehlers chiropractic is not worth to get treatment cu he’s never there.

Ehlers Chiropractic — there was no pain relief or adjustments because I rejected prepaying for services up to $ 6000. I simply went where that was not their main concern and in three visits I was 100% better.

5 stars for Dr. Ehlers and his staff. Their office is very professional and friendly and they give away a lot of free fun perks to their clients like coffee, tea, water, cookies, and fresh popcorn, which the clients love. It’s the little things that make a difference. It makes the statement that he cares about what he is doing and his business.
From the start, Dr. Ehlers showed he was different from the other chiropractors I had previously visited. Instead of just adjusting me and sending me on my way, he did a series of tests and analysis and then set out a 4 month plan to align my spine into great shape.
The way he adjusts is unique, too. Most chiropractors just adjust the same way for every client. Dr. Ehlers is able to adjust just a few key vertebrae or the whole back depending on your needs. He showed me that he focuses to cure problems rather than just treat them. Helped me adjust my spine, my ankles, and even my hip.
Dr. Ehlers’ passion for his job is evident. When he adjusts, his knowledge of what the spine is doing and which areas of the body are being affected is amazing. He teaches his clients that each vertebra affects a certain organ or function of the body. When the vertebrae get out of alignment — so does that corresponding body part. This just reinforced to me how important chiropractic care is.

I enjoy the environment of Dr. Ehler’s office. Adrea and Allison are always so cheery and positive. Dr. Ehler and Dr. Moody are very knowledgable. Dr. Ehler keeps me informed while he is adjusting me of what organ and nerve will be effected by the adjustment. Since my family are patients here, I am confident we are in good hands. (Pun intended)

We have been going to Ehlers Chiropractic for about four months now after Children movies to occupy kids while waiting. Popcorn, fruit and cookies for snacks.
Dr. Ehler and Dr. Cat have a great approach to chiropractic care and they take the time to educate their patients on the benefits of chiropractic care.
They do not file insurance claims. Would give them four stars if they accepted Blue Shield.

We were referred to Ehlers from a lawyer handling our accident case. He was great with care, but we were obviously oblivious to the cost as we were not charged until we closed out the case with the insurance company. A few months later my husband was having back pain and decided to get an adjustment. Yeah that didnt happen. He called to make the appointment and was told they could adjust him just come on in. When he got there they said they could not adjust him until they did xrays. So they did the xrays and told him to come in tomorrow to be adjusted. They also charged him for the appointment before he was even seen. I have never heard of paying for future appointments but I said whatever just get th care you need. The next day my husband went in and was again told they could not adjust him. They handed him a piece of paper saying they had ran his CREDIT and were able to give him a $ 1500 credit towards his needed chiropractic care. I was disgusted that they would run our credit without first asking. They then handed him a folder with paperwork on everything he needed to have done, and told he HAD to pay in ADVANCE or they would not treat him. They wanted us to pay a FULL YEAR in advance at a whopping $ 5,743 price tag. As soon as my husband said no way, the Dr. sent him to the front desk to speak with the receptionist. Not only did the receptionist have no idea what she was talking about, but she tried to be cute with him to get him to agree on the price. She should have just read a script on what to say and she would have sounded a whole lot more knowledgeable.
THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF AND A JOKE. STAY AWAY.

Dr. Ehlers is the best chiropractor we’ve used, and we’ve been to a lot. Although the practice was better when he had a massage person warm the muscles first (are your listening, doctor?), he does typically massage the muscles a little himself before adjusting if they’re very tight.
Most any chiropractor can fix a back a large muscular man has wrenched due to over-​activity. But Dr. Ehlers has successfully adjusted my grandson for reflux (success is not permanent, but lasted a couple of weeks), my son for whiplash after a bad rear-​ender, and my husband for an elbow problem he’d had for years after carrying OSB by himself.
I’m sorry that one reviewer felt he was being shammed. Dr. Ehlers is of course trying to make a living, but for most of us over 40 we’re asking him to fix decades of bad posture, multiple car accidents, and inadequate nutrition. Chiropracty is a gentle, gradual process, so that will take a lot of visits to fix. If you can’t afford it, tell him upfront, do as many visits as you can, and ask him for at-​home exercises to help your healing. I’m sure he’d be glad to oblige.
I haven’t visited his associate, Dr. Glimpse, yet. My sons have had their backs adjusted by him and were satisfied.
Note: They’ll see you without an appointment except for an initial visit. But try to avoid the after 5:00 time if you don’t have an appointment.

Dr. Ehlers has been my chiropractor for about the last 10 years and he is by far the best practitioner I have dealt with (and there have been several). I met him when he was working with Dr. Richardson and when he left to open his own practice I followed. Though I had been a patient at Richardson’s for several years, I felt that Dr. Ehlers was a more forward thinking chiropractor putting into practice techniques I hadn’t yet experienced and always willing to educate me on things I could do myself to improve my pain and overall health. I don’t for one moment regret leaving for «greener pastures».
Dr. Ehlers takes care of my pain issues from head to toe, literally, having made adjustments to the usual neck and spine, but also to my shoulders, wrists, ankles, knees and ribs. Dr. Ehlers can feel my spine and the muscles in my back, neck and shoulders and tell ME what symptoms I’m currently experiencing! He can tell when I haven’t been drinking as much water as I should or when I’ve had too much coffee. He can tell the effect these things have on my body and my pain. And he’s always right. It’s truly amazing that he has so much knowledge of the human body and how each part functions, interacts and affects others parts.
He has succeeded where traditional doctors have failed and just given me pain pills from heavy doses of ibuprofen and muscle relaxers to narcotics to kill the pain.
I’d like to respond the the two previous posts: the wellness care plan was a little overwhelming at first, but my health was worth the monthly cost. The bonus to this plan is that my cost doesn’t change every month and I can continue care as often as necessary, which sometimes is 5 days per week other times only once or twice. Either way, I feel like I come out ahead. Additionally, regular chiropractic care is the only way that I am able to remain pain free, before the wellness plan I would only come in occasionally when I was in serious need of an adjustment because I was always worried about whether I could afford to go multiple times in one week — my neck or back would be so locked up I couldn’t turn my head or nerves were being pinched and causing excruciating pain and burning sensations. Now, I don’t have to compromise my health for my checkbook, I go when I need to go.
Being that Richardson and Ehlers previously worked together, over the years I have sensed that there is some animosity on the part of Richardson Chiropractic — I know several people that still see him and have gotten the sense he doesn’t approve of Dr. Ehlers though I can’t imagine why except that I’m sure I wasn’t Richardson’s only patient to have left to continue care with Dr. Ehlers (let me also add here that I was not solicited by Dr. Ehlers to continue care under his new practice, I was told by Richardsons that he had left to start a practice and I sought out Dr. Ehlers). They have two distinct ways of treating patients, with Richardson being more traditional and Ehlers being more forward thinking and adding to the traditional treatment to provide added benefits to his patients. Their business models are structured differently as well, but I tell you what, Richardson never hesitated to encourage my (now ex) husband, his mother, his sister, my son or anyone else to come in and get care with him. Encouraging patients to come in and get the required care is NOT bad practice! I myself work in the medical field and encourage my patients to talk to their loved ones about being evaluated and treated for symptoms they experience. It’s just about caring for the people that they are treating. Some people will say or do anything to gain business OR attempt to discredit the competition and ruin their business. That’s bad form. And, some people will always think they’re being cheated or scammed, that’s a shame.
I recommend EVERYONE I meet that expresses a need for chiropractic care to Dr. Ehlers, from family, friends and co-​workers to the patients that I work with… without hesitation. He is professional, caring and always current on all things chiropractic and related.

My back had been bothering me from a Muscle spasm, so I thought I would try a chiropractor again (I used one in the past, and had positive results).
When I went to there office, they were very friendly. Basically they asked a few questions, had me fill out paper work. Then the used car salesman speel started. was told that anything could be wrong with my back, even a tumor. So they xrayed my back and did conduction test in my back — i knew it would not look good, since I had muscle spasm and I knew my back was crooked. to make a long story short, they had me come back the next day, and explain that it would take about 30+ office visits to get my back in shape, and the world would be woderfull, otherwise i could end up crippled, and then showed me a sales/​financial proposal for $ 3800! i stated that my medical pays, and i have $ 15 co payment, they do not take the medical. then he offered me a discount of $ 800, if i would sign the papers today for $ 2900. They also were insistent i bring my wife, even wanted her to change her schedule for there convenience of making a sale. I felt like i delt with a slimy used car dealer when i left the office.
I went to Richardson Chirpractic, they gave me some temporary relief.

receptionists don’t seem to know too many answers to billing/​insurance questions. they do not accept insurance and ask that clients file their own claims with insurance companies for reimbursement.
called my insurance company and they said this clinic is listed as a preferred provider so by contract, they are REQUIRED to file the claims for their clients. also, they said by charging all fees upfront from the client and then telling them to file for reimbursement, they are getting double paid. say a clinic charges $ 100 a visit and the allowed amount from the insurance provider is $ 50 and the client’s copay is $ 25…then the clinic just got $ 100, plus $ 75 for the allowed amount/​copay from the insurance company. how do i know the clinic will actually cut me a check for my copay? -.- not cool.
going to look elsewhere. on a side note, this clinic is really clean and friendly… they just really push their costs/​fee schedules on clients. lay it on just a bit tooooooo thick.

There have been some changes to Ehlers CC:
They are switching to a Wellness Center model that offers a variety of services (not sure what all that entails) under a monthly rate that was quoted to me @ 150 a month. It seems they will have couples or family packages as well but that doesn’t apply to me. No more insurance.
The chronic pain massage therapist is no longer co-​located in the office. Laptops mentioned above are now located in treatment rooms, assumably for the staff.
He is still great. I just would not benefit from that pricing and service plan.
