Advanced Muffler

Had exhaust leak in my lowered Nissan 240sx, I’m new to the area so finding a place that I was going to be able to drive into and onto a rack is sometimes an issue. Not here I was in and out in no time! Price and work were both great. I Definitely will be bringing my other cars here for any of my exhaust needs.

I needed a muffler for a company car and went to Unilocal to find a mechanic. I’m glad I found Advanced! I was in and out QUICK and for a VERY fair price.
It’s VERY rare when quality, service, and price all come together. They did here. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for any exhaust work in the future.

21 years ago Ed installed flowmaster on my 93 mustang gt, came back to him to install SLP muffler. Ed never change he’s honest, helpful and friendly. He’s work is outstanding and get the job done.

I went to Ed based on the strength of his Unilocal reviews, and wish, months after he did the work, that I had a «give the guy six stars» as an option.
When I first approached Ed, I was interested in sourcing a Magnaflow CBE for my ’15 GTI. I talked to him about the pros and cons of a custom cat-​back system and a solution that he’d install for me.
He advised me AGAINST the custom built option and walked me through how mandrel bends and the work required wasn’t going to be cost effective.
One star, five to go.
Then he offered to get me the Magnaflow system I was eyeballing at a better-​than-​internet price. He also asked me to let him know what system I eventually decided on, telling me that if he could source it, he’d give me the best price he could.
Two stars. Four more to go.
I read a TON of reviews, decided against the Magnaflow, and bought an AWE tuning system that Ed couldn’t source — but I asked and he did the legwork.
Three stars. Three more.
Got the system, called him, made an appointment, and dropped the car off with an additional ask that he install a Eurocode chassis brace. No problem, he says.
Four stars. Two more.
Went back to pick the car up, and he wasn’t done — he was spending the time aligning the tips perfectly and making sure that the entire thing, including the chassis brace, was good to go. Let me come back later to pick up the stock exhaust he removed.
Five stars. One more.
Then, DAYS later, he called me again to let me know that the stock stamped steel chassis braces he’d pulled off the car were still floating around and would I like to pick them up?
SIX stars. Dude’s a rockstar.
If you need exhaust work done go see this guy. He’s honest, works his butt off to make you happy, and charged me a VERY reasonable price to install the exhaust AND the brace — all the while dealing with my retentiveness with the car and the exhaust. He’s earned my business in a myriad of ways. He’s a car guy and d*mn good at what he does.
He’ll get ALL the exhaust work I’ll ever need for as long as I live within a 100 mile radius of Vacaville.

I went in today to get a estimate for my 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD, 311,000 miles … Which I thought my catalyst converter ($ 700) which was giving me problems … Turned out it was my rear muffler making all that noise to the front, they welded it together without charging me a dime and it stop making those horrible noises… Not only they was honest and professional, but really cared and took the time to see me immediately… Any exhaustion, muffler, issues, or problems you have with any vehicle, they are inexpensive and experience and will treat you well…

Excellent service, got my duel Flowmaster put on today, took my old 50 series out (20 years old) and had 40 series put in, sounds awesome, price was way more affordable then the other shops around.

Ed was great, he was able to fit me in without an appointment. He removed my resonator and made sure my mufflers lined up correctly, this is something other shops do not take the time to check and line up. Definitely will go here again for any of my exhaust needs, Thanks Ed

I have been bringing my cars to this shop since 2006. Ed has always advised me with sound advice. There have been numerous times where I wanted to do things to my vehicles that he flat out told me that I wouldn’t be happy with it, even though he would have made more money if he just said «sure I can do it». I have personally had 7 mufflers installed at this shop as well as recommending his shop to anyone who needs exhaust work and I have always been happy with the work. Ed is a great guy, with great customer service, and the best pricing for exhaust work. And in the event he’s not the cheapest, the reasons above are why I will still come to this shop.

Ed does great work he’s put exhaust systems on 2 of my vehicles and I’m planning on getting my newest vehicle done soon.

Had Ed replace my 22 year old mufflers on a Lexus SC300 with new Magnaflows using stainless steel tips. He took care in fitting the mufflers and tips around the body kit and the result was outstanding. The sound remained conservative but smooth and was exactly the combination I was going for…
Highly recommended.

Just had my muffler thrown in by Ed and super pleased with the service and super price! All the reviews on Advanced Muffler (Ed). Are spot on. I wish I would have consulted him prior to buying the muffler I got because I was hoping for more of a growl. But that is my fault. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Advanced Muffler.

I had my exhaust recently added to my brand new car at Advanced Muffler. There was a slight rattling sound, so I brought it in for Ed to take a look at and he welcomed me and dropped everything to help me out. Even though we weren’t sure where the sound was coming from, Ed was adamant about ensuring I left a happy customer and was thorough in finding the sound. He found the minor adjustment that needed to be made and was incredibly friendly and all the while explaining to me (not a car wiz myself) what exactly he was doing. AWESOME customer service and would most definitely recommend his business to anyone out there looking for an honest business man.

this place is great! ed has done three of my vehicle’s and a lot of my customers vehicle’s. i run a shop and any type of exhaust work needed i will take it there and he always does a great job! his work is top of the line. this is the only place i would ever take my car’s for exhaust work.

I had an exhaust put on my Ford F150 a few weeks ago and so far I have had no issues, welding looks good, and it sounds amazing! I can’t give less than a 5 star because I have nothing negative to say about Advanced Muffler. Ed was honest about the muffler he recommended and even suggested ways to save some money on my exhaust system. Not to mention, he quoted me $ 100 less than Midas. I called Ed at 9am to book an appointment, dropped the truck off at lunch, and picked it up at the end of they day. Quick and easy!

Ed is awesome and an expert in his field. I drove all the way from LA because Ed is the only person I would trust to do the work on my truck. I had him install a cat back dual exhaust magnaflow system on my 03 Toyota Tundra. He asked me how I wanted it installed and even allowed me into his shop and point out the work I wanted done while my truck was on his lift. I picked up the truck 3 hrs later and was blown away by his welding job. He takes no short cuts and only uses top quality materials. If you need that type if work done, don’t go anywhere else. His prices are great for the quality he provides.

ED, hes the man! Very good at what he does and his prices are the best around! I dropped my Mustang and my new in box exhaust off at his shop at 2:45 by 4 it was done and sounding great!
