Amazing fresh and great tasting sandwiches. The vegetarian options are awesome and everyone else who I’ve brought here(non-vegetarians) loved it just as much! Give it a visit, cute little friendly sand which shop.

I used to looooove coming here when I worked in the area. The neighborhood is so cute and charming, a great place to walk off your lunch after you’ve finished eating! The Sand Witch has everything a sandwich shop should, fresh baked breads, ripe produce, and delicious sandwich options! I would recommend giving yourself extra time if you are getting your order to go, this place is no secret and a great sandwich must be made with care and a little time.

Delicious to the core!!! Didn’t know what to eat for lunch so this was recommended by my coworker. It’s a small restaurant in the corner, not much parking space. Advise to call ahead and place your order if you’re on lunch so the wait won’t be too long. First time there, I ordered the Chicken Pesto panini plus Avocado. AMAZING!!! Coworker had the Buffalo melt, stated it was heaven in his mouth. I also started to order their Dragons breath Panini of you like something spicy, a definite try you won’t be disappointed. Love coming back here, the people there always have a smile on their face and usually have my order ready when I arrive.

Was in the mood for a good panini. The Sand Witch did not disappoint one bit. They had amazing hospitality, food was fresh. It was a little bit of a wait, but they gave us a free cookie in apology to the wait. The Chicken Presto, was fantastic. Loaded with chopped chicken, nice melted cheese, garlic pesto sauce and the perfect amount of tomatoes and red bell peppers. The Dragon’s Breath, was the perfect combination between spicy and savory. It had a little kick to it with the jalapeños and chipotle sauce. It was fantastic. Just found my new favorite sandwich shop!

Small little sandwich shop that I stumbled upon when looking for something fast and casual to eat around Upland. I tried the dragon’s breath and the roast beast’s dip half with broccoli cheddar soup on side. It was pretty empty when we stopped in but we got fast service. There are many options of cold, hot, and panini sandwiches as well as salads and soups. The dragon’s breath was good, but a little hot and spicy because of the peppers. I would come back here to try another unique sandwich if in the area.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. The food is bomb and the staff is extremely friendly. I love the environment, the theme of the place is super cool. They cook their soup in cauldrons! How dope is that?! I recommend this place to all my friends and if you’re reading this review you should definitely come here. Seriously, this place is wicked(see what I did there?)

Solid sandwich shop. I’ve been meaning to try it for sometime but every time I would drive by it was closed or there was no parking. If I can’t park easily I’m not going… so finally I stop in a couple weeks ago, the place is busy, not crazy, but I could tell they were in the weeds with to go ordered and hungry patrons waiting for sandwiches. I ordered a half turkey witch… good witch(maybe?) Can’t remember the names but the friendly employee helped me choose what I would like, and a half Cobb salad with no egg. Took a good 15 min to get my order(I don’t mind waiting for good food). Both were good and full of flavor. I would return, but possibly call ahead my order to avoid the long wait time.

My boyfriend and I decided to finally try this place and we are soooo glad we did! I didn’t know what to expect, I hate trying new places and then being disappointed. Thankfully that was not the case. I got the Wicked Witch and he got the Black Cat, we shared our other half with each other. The black cat was very good, I loved the jalapeño bread and of course the Bacon. Now on to the amazing one, the WICKEDWITCH was out of this world good! I can’t compare this sandwich to anything else in the area, seriously Sooo Good! I will definitely be back for that one. We also got a cup of creamy chicken and wild rice! Surprisingly the soup was also very good! Yum! I totally recommend this place!

The food here is Phenomenal and I will DEFINATELYBEBACK I highly recommend it came with my 2 buddies I ordered the Witch it was perfect full of flavor next time I’m getting it toasted I highly recommend the wicked witch My buddy got the Dragonsbreath and he couldn’t set it down My cousin got the roast beef dip, oh, my god perfect and full of flavor it is a tad too salty so I suggest unsalted butter on the mushrooms and maybe adding avocado All in all costumer service on point One or two things though is I do wish that they had a better drink selection, OHANDFRIES please add some bomb fresh fries it would compliment so many sandwitches perfectly lol The macaroni salad was a little sour for me almost more tarty, but that’s personal preference

Hands down an amazing sandwich shop tucked away in Upland. Service was fast and friendly. Even though their oven was down, they had many sandwiches to choose from. We got the warlock and the chicken presto with broccoli cheese soup. AMAZING! We will be back!

The stars are for the food ONLY. We have been wanting to try this place for a long time. When we first walked in we were met with very off putting attitudes by the ladies in the front. No hello, no welcome… All she said was just«ready?» We ordered and didn’t even get a please or thank you during the whole transaction. Not even when we gave her a tip. We thought it was weird how standoffish the girl was. It was like we bothered her by placing our orders. The service we got is unfortunate because we loved the sandwiches! We both got the Sea Witch with avocado on sourdough. So yummy! Big potions too. The place could use a little bit of work inside. They had St. Patrick’s day, Valentine’s Day, and Halloween decorations up all at once. Not sure why we received the service we did. Maybe the girl was having a bad day… Not sure if we will return here.

Visited the Sand Witch on Saturday and I have to say it is actually quite good for a sandwich spot. I ordered the Turkey Pesto Panini and my boyfriend had The Witch. The panini was quite marvelous. It had peppered Turkey, pepperoni with mushrooms, onions, cream cheese, and tomato pesto sauce. It was delicious, the flavors all bleneded very well with one another. One thing is I felt like it would be better with less cream cheese only because the cream cheese was a bit over powering to the other flavors in some bites of the sandwhich. The Witch was just a simple italian sandwhich which had good quality meats. Salami, ham, pepperoni, capicola… Nothing special about the sides. Had potato and macaroni salad and tasted like any other grocery bought salad. I did prefer the potato over the macaroni though. The inside is a small dining area with a few tables. The tables were wood and extremely sticky. I reccommend them getting new tables or cleaning them with the proper chemicals because they were so sticky they felt dirty and that wasnt very pleasant to eat on.

Simply put, best sandwich I think I’ve ever had!!! Wicked witch: Italian dry salami, peppered turkey breast(instead of ham), capicola, provolone, garlic pesto, pickles, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, peperchini, on a french roll! Won’t be disappointed!

Was looking for a place to grab a sandwich after a hike, and stumbled upon here. It’s a little difficult to find, tucked into a little shopping center in an industrial area. Came in on a Saturday around 2pm, and the place was empty. I had a hard time deciding which kind of sandwich to get because they all sound so amazing. I settled on the dragon egg, which is egg salad with bacon and sriracha on a jalapeño cheese bread. Delicious. We grabbed 2 sandwiches and 2 sodas, and it was $ 21. While we ate outside(we had dogs with us), so many people came in and grabbed sandwiches. It’s a fairly busy place. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often, but definitely looking forward to coming here again.

Really good roast beast(beef)… sandwich. And great clam chowder soup… I was kinda bummed that they didn’t offer fries or maybe baked beans as a side … * the fountain drinks were flat, not carbonated. Pretty good spot though =)

Rejoicify! This place is totally wicked! After eating here yesterday, flying monkeys couldn’t keep me away in the future. Not sure what kind of wizards are working in the kitchen, but they sure can create some kind of miraculous kitchen concoction to, not only satisfy hunger, but tingle the taste buds. It was quite a warm day outside so I wanted to order a cold sandwich. I picked the warlock and the sandwich surely put a spell on me. I didn’t think someone could create a roast beef sandwich this good outside of New York. It is clear the owners take pride in the quality of products they use. The roast beef was medium rare and full of flavor as if it was recently grilled. Hoagie roll was incredibly fresh. The horseradish spread added a tangy kick without covering up the other ingredients. All the toppings were perfectly portioned out so as to create the perfect sandwich. My friend ordered the Coven, a highly rated panini with a pepper jack kick. I’m already planning on ordering that the next time I go. With just one bite, it drew me in. The next time my flying bubble makes it out to Upland, I’ll be sure to stop by and try some of their other options.
