I’ve never been to Hobby Lobby until a couple days ago my mom was looking for a part for her sewing machine. Once I walked into the store I fell in love instantly, they have EVERYTHING! I had so many ideas for coming parties, I really did love be the selection they have. The best part is I was allowed to bring in my dog. Yes this Hobby Lobby is pet friendly.

I love this store in general because of the awesome stuff they carry and their weekly great deals but I had an unpleasant encounter with one of the cashiers «Liz» who was not very friendly and made my check out very slow and uncomfortable.

Total fail you post a picture of the beading trays and mention 50% off but when you get to the store — they are not on sale. See ad for details they tell me. Well why have the picture if they are not on sale. Walked out and didn’t buy anything. Won’t be coming back either. Nice Christian business…

Have been to this store a few times and it seems ok. I’ve never had any issue other than the disgusting restrooms. So dirty, I don’t know how the employees themselves can use them. I don’t think anyone cleans them on a daily or even weekly basis. There is a cracked toilet and dirty floors and sinks. So nasty.

This place is by far the best craft store around. They have rows of items to decorate your home, parties, and all events. They have lots of fabrics and tons of hobby items too! Their holiday stuff is always fantastic. Make sure you check their website before you checkout, they usually have 30−40% off coupons on all items.

Yesterday I brought in a poster to be framed. There was no one near the framing department. John came up to me and I showed him my poster and told him I needed help to have it framed. He made a general gesture to the left and said «the frames are over there». When I asked if it needed a mat to make it fit he gestured to the right and said «the mats are over there». I told him I was overwhelmed and asked for help and he said «people pick out their frames and mats, bring it here and we do it. There were many many frames and hundreds of mats and asked for more help. I then just asked for a simple frame and a grey mat, hurriedly picked out the first I saw and left. Today I was back to pick up my item and told John I didn’t feel he was of help yesterday and and he said «well I couldn’t help that» and was dismissive. I said «I won’t be back» and he spread out his arms and with a sneer/​smile said. «Well if you feel that way you feel that way». WOW. I love Hobby Lobby and support it and their values but I will not be back to this store. John needs some teaching in communication skills and customer service.

I love hobby lobby. I go at least once a week. But today I was Very disappointed in the customer service they give their customers at this location. I witnessed workers be so rude to a disabled elder woman. They didn’t want to take her check because of her signature. The woman claimed to have arthritis and could write well. Regardless if she was or not the situation wasn’t handled well and I didn’t like how they talked about her after she had left the store. It wasn’t what I expected since other locations are helpful to me. For myself, I needed spray paint and waited way too long after a worker said he would be right with me but walked away, Also workers seemed careless and not helpful to customers. I will continue shopping at hobby lobby just not this location. The staff needs to be changed to better the store.

Hey! It is July 7^th 2015. My my uncle, sister and I came to Hobby Lobby to search for a simple sketchbook. No one had asked us if we needed help. It was difficult finding what we needed. Plus, I said a friendly hello to an employee at the register, and all I get in return is an attitude. Gotta work on ya boy Padrick at the register! Bad customer service!

This place is close to work so I love going here on my break time for some crafts and last minute party stuff! The guy on the register names «Robert» and his name shows up on my receipts too :) is Super Friendly and provides great customer service!!! He’s very honest and always asks how your day is going while also not making it sound so robotic but genuine. He is quick with the registry especially I have only an hour for lunch. One incident that I had to return something He made sure to ask me what card I used so he can locate the proper receipt I used since the one I brought in was the wrong one :/​but eventually he found it and I had the easiest return experience :) thanks Robert!

The only reason for 4 stars is because there’s not many staff on floor to assist. And will walk by you and see the confused look on your face and want ask do you need assistance.
Hobby Lobby is like organized version of Michaels, Aaron Brothers,
Big lots, Walmart. They have really nice wooden furniture and love their Paris Themed motifs.
There are aisles of picture frames, mirrors, and art work, old nostalgic gas station and automobile signs, themed décor and seasonal items isles of Christmas decorations., aisles of scrapbooking supplies, art supplies, custom frames and mirrors.
I noticed a lot of items were 30%-50% off regular price. There’s always a 40% off 1 regular priced item online.

Wow!!! I was in complete awe when I came here! This place is a crafters/​artist/​teachers paradise! I came here and I spent almost two hours just looking at all the items they had. The displays were beautiful, the workers were very nice and although I love Michaels this place really is quite an experience! They had I think every season and holiday represented in the store at the same time. It was super cool and I definitely want to visit again!

I love Hobby Lobby for all my arts and crafts items. They have a great selection of items too.

This is my absolute favorite craft store! They have everything you would need for a project. They also have GREAT gifts for your home. Love their seasonal decorations!

I’m so excited the brought Hobby Lobby to CA! They have great deals weekly, that make DIY projects very affordable! You can also pick up beautiful home and holiday décor at a reasonable cost!

Worst customer service ever. Ur looking for something and they just point” it’s right over there” and they cont to stand around and talk. How about a «can I help u find something?»

Holy Crap, I mean Craft! I have never seen so many crap items, err why do I keep doing that! I have never seen so many CRAFT items for sale under one roof. In addition, lots of cheap art and home décor stuff likely keeping the majority of third world sweat shop employees busy 24 – 7. But I won’t preach because I too am guilty of swooping up some of these bargain items that are true household necessities — like a bejeweled vase, kissy face wine glass, and a sign about my sickness (love for shoes). I also ran into one of my awe struck co-​workers at the store. She like me was too scared to get a cart. So there we were, walking around, cradling our household necessities in our arms. Hers included one of those wind chime things, you know, the ones with the soothing sounds that neighbors take great joy of overhearing day in and day out. Anyway, this summer if you have some extra allowance money and bored kids, or bored wife, or bored girlfriend, drop them off here for a DIY day camp.

I always felt like that they have great selection of products and the area is huge too!
But always wonder if they’ll last long time
I don’t see lot of people shopping inside.
Last time when I went to get fabrics to redo my cushions I felt like I was the third customer inside.
All the workers were around me trying to help out! Which I thought it was great because usually lot of department store workers are busy and you cannot ever find someone to ask questions
Another reason why I think this place wont last long time is because of the discounted products… majority of their items are 30% to 60% off without a reason… I mean I like bargain deals but when you see 50% off you’ll connect a dot and assume that places is closing down.
One of the cool thing for this store is that they are not open on Sundays! They close for employees to spend time with family!

We decided to try the Hobby Lobby in Upland because of the limited selection available at our home store in Rancho Cucamonga.
When our custom mattes and special order frames arrived it was Lafayette who juggled us and about 10 other customers single handedly. We were so happy to have chosen this store because of the awesome customer service we received from him.

Talk about turning a frown upside down. This place puts me in the best mood. I love the variety and the prices. Everyday they offer thirty percent off their fabric, with the exception of stock material like felt. I found this awesome leopard material that was thick and felt like fur. Nothing at JoAnns even compared, it was exactly what i was looking for. At the checkout they have vintage candy, Hershey bars I have never seen. There is a different sale every week, like one weekend it will be metals, and the next it will be frames, so just keep checking back if you can’t afford something.
Hobby Lobby is great for gifts and supplies. First time visitors should allow ample time to peruse.

I’ve heard about Hobby Lobby for years, but always assumed they were located not in CA. I was surprised to stumble across this one that sits right off the 10 fwy in Upland on my way home from work.
I stopped in on a July afternoon, and was greeted (and overwhelmed) with Christmas decorations.
Whoa, slow down there Hobby Lobby. My life has been enough of a whirlwind lately.
I had stopped by to spend 10 minutes looking around to see what it was like, but I ended up spending 2 hours and wishing I had more money and hobbies.
The store is huge.
They seem to have everything for every crafting/​hobby/​décor need you could have. They’ve got the fake flowers, fabrics, ribbons, decorative bird cages, a framing department, jewelry making supplies, model car kits, model rocket kits, home décor, etc.
Since then I have been 3 times. Their prices seem fairly reasonable. It seems as if their frames are always 50% off. I got an 11×14 shadowbox frame for $ 19.
And for what’s not on sale, their mobile app has always had a 40% off regular priced item coupon. I was able to buy a model car kit (originally $ 25, got it for $ 15) along with the paint, glue, and some brushes for a total of $ 30.
