Applebee’s

This Applebee’s has poor quality control and when I brought it up to the manager she raised her voice and was acting like I was a liar. Boooo Applebees! We went to that Applebee’s weekly and we are fed up! Applebee’s will no longer get our money!

The chef must hate his life, or his job… half wings had sauce, chips were stale and quesadillas were cold. That’s was just starters. I got the salmon and the sauce was super salty BC nothing else was salted, the potatoes were bland spinach was dry as hell. Then the enchiladas just plain disgusting with barely any brisket. Nasty nasty

I was very disappointed with the customer service at this location. With a couple friends, we went to the bar solely for drinks. We had a reservation elsewhere, but figured that since they were not busy we would get them quickly and then be on our way. The wait time to place our order with a server was extensive, as we were passed multiple times without even being asked if we were ready to order and were quite seemingly ignored (we had placed our menus all together at the end of the table to show we were done looking). It was quite obvious that, as a younger group of friends, we were being ignored and the older customers being attended to before us. After the long wait and placing our order, we waited almost twenty minutes before receiving our drinks. We watched as they prepared the drinks, and left them for over ten minutes before delivering them to us, even though we were seated very close. Not only was I disappointed, but the rest of the group was prepared to walk out before receiving the drinks due to the poor service.

I love Applebee’s, but we just got home from having my birthday dinner here. It was horrible service, all 4 people who came to our table did a bad job. Took 3 people to get enough little plates for our table. We got dirty silverware, when we finally got silverware. My mom had to send her steak back it was med when she well, by the time they returned with it everyone else had ate.
Do yourself a favor, skip this location and go to another. They need some staff training here badly.

Food is over priced and bland. Service was really good though :)
Our waiter was very friendly and did a great job at taking our order and checking up on us.
Their margaritas are way TOO OVER PRICED! I ordered a strawberry lemon margarita which was good it wasn’t outstanding in flavor but it was good. They filled a regular soda glass with a whole lot of ice and the rest with the margarita. I literally took About 4 sips and it was empty. I did not find it right to pay $ 9++++ for an ice filled glass.
The berry sangria is GROSS. It comes in a big cocktail glass so I thought the size was okay for $ 8 but once I tried it I wanted to puke. It had nothing to do with berries nor sangria. It was bland and watered down.
Their ribs are not that good. And very very overpriced for meatless ribs.
I had a Thai peanut shrimp salad which was really good so I enjoyed that. My two stars would’ve been higher if the drinks would’ve been a lot better and not so expensive. Service was great.

Apparently Applebee’s (well at least this location) has a new drink limit! Our server refused to bring a second pitcher of BUD LIGHT to our friends who were visiting from out of town today. Because they had met their «3 drink limit». I have never heard of such a preposterous thing before! Yes, if someone was acting out, being disrespectful, being drunk or whatever… Then okay, stop serving them. But we were literally there as a mini family reunion with CHILDREN and just relaxing and catching up, while having food and drinks. This place made us feel so uncomfortable after that and we will NOT be going back to this location!

The customer service at this location is horrible. I was in a party of three and it took forever just to be seated. As we waited I had a direct view of the door.
A family of four came in and it took 7 minutes to be seated while there was a total of 10 people including my group. Why did it take so long?
An older couple came in and stood at the door for 10 minutes. They were seated to only to be ignored. No one ever came and introduced themselves to them. They decided to leave because the service is horrible. The family of four followed and left as well again because of the horrible slow service.
At this moment I literally ordered a refill of Pepsi 15 ago. She just came to the table and totally forgot about my drink.
Our orders were incorrect from the beginning.
Im 100 000% disappointed and it will be a while /​if ever that I return.

We visit mid-​days for lunch & sit in the bar. Always good atmosphere, good service & quick tasty food!

Jesus, 1 hour for the food? No sign of the waiter? Place half empty? Better of going to Subway and picking up a sandwich

Nothing incredible but always solid. I had a cheesesteak sandwich last time I went that was actually delicious. Most of the dishes I’ve had there have been fine — again, nothing special.
Atmosphere is good and the happy hour prices are good. The servers have always been friendly and attentive to me.
It’s a solid restaurant in an area of Bridgeport and University Place that is really booming right now, with the recent addition of the Whole Foods store.

The female manager is a complete b@$&&!
We went there after having one glass of wine at another place to get a burger. My wife said a couple words to me as we walked to the bar stools. The manager thought my wife was slurring her words. So before we even settled in our seats she refused to let my wife have a glass of wine. My jaw hit the floor and my wife was mortified. Not in all my years have my wife and I ever been treated so badly.
We’ve been there 10 times and she has seen us before and she decided to take out her bad attitude on my 50 yo wife. She didn’t even talk to us a little to confirm her feelings, she just shut my wife down. I’ve never seen her so embarrassed.
I will not go back knowing how mean the manager is.

One star, because it absolutely sucked my husband big meat eater and was craving a stake. I suggested Applebee’s on university place since it’s a nice area the food must be cooked better. Boy was I wrong, usually the server comes and asks you to cut into the stake and make sure it’s cooked all the way you want, our server didn’t even ask him to check his stake when she brought it to our table. I ordered ribs w fries. My ribs were alright my fries we’re super hard, like stale hard. My 5 yr old got chicken mac and cheese and ceasar salad hers was ok. But seriously this apple bees absolutely sucked don’t waste your money !! The servers were nice but the food terrible :(

It’s Applebee’s. So you know what to expect.
My problem with this location is the blatant ageism. I have checked in here a few times, and when I’m by myself I have no problems. Usually wearing work clothes (button down and slacks) and have prompt service with good attention.
Whenever I go with some of my college age friends (21 – 25) we are completely ignored, horrible service, and the servers rush you.
I personally enjoy Applebee’s food, but will not tolerate blatant age discrimination.
Now, regardless of if they think maybe younger people don’t tip, or whatever they think, the servers are a little older and die treat patrons very differently.
It’s a shame because y’all right up the street from me.
Won’t be returning.

Worst Applebee’s by far super rude manager was told not allowed to drink pitchers of beer to myself that is Washington State liquor law that’s total bullshit lie called them out on it then they tried to tell its actually Applebee’s rule even tho I’ve bought way more alcoholic beverages at all the other Applebee’s restaurants screwed up our dinner will never be back to this restaurant

Why did I give this even less stars than originally, all about the service or lack of it. Went for lunch with friends and we all ordered burgers. When they arrived they were nice and hot but Applebee’s puts no sauce o. A regular burger so the person. Who delivered the food asked if we wanted mustard, mayo, etc. we all said yes, she said she’d be right back and we never saw her again. We watched her take orders and do several other tasks while we sat there. Our server was no where to be found so we sat there. Finally the server happened by and we grabbed her. Took her another several minutes to get mayo for the kitchen. By this time the burgers were no longer piping hot. Not sure why we go there except its convenient. Think we will forgo convenient and go farther away where we can get decent service

I come to Applebee’s quite often & this is the second time I have been to this location.
Service was as expected; slow wait staff & at least one incorrect input of order the first time. I say «as expected,» because I am a regular at Applebee’s in two different states & –as much as I don’t want to say it– this is ALWAYS the case for me (whether it be lunch or dinner time).
The food is consistently on point though & this is most definitely something I can appreciate. The 2for$ 20 or 2for$ 25 deal is great & I definitely recommend the Fiesta Lime Chicken w/​the pico de gallo on the side please!

We came after Christmas shopping. It was full but we got seated right away. We got serviced we had the big appetizer. for our entrees my kids both had the all in bacon burgers, my grandbaby had chicken strips, I had the honey pepper Mac cheese chicken .it was yummy everyone had a bite it was ooey and gooey unfortunately, the appetizers filled me up so I had to bring it home. I know what’s for lunch!!!

How is Applebee’s still open? This is without a doubt the worst restaurant chain in America.
I tried to give it another chance after years of refusing to go here. Mistake. The food is just bad. K was drawn here by the burger quesadilla thing which was very disappointing. And my chili lime chicken was so sour, I couldn’t help but shudder.
The only reason I’m not giving this 1 star is because the management seems to be working hard. Still, the best management in the world couldn’t change the fact that this food is horrible.
Never again. I’ve officially learned my lesson. Sorry for the bad review, Applebee’s staff. My best advice: Burn the menu; nuke the kitchen.

It was a Friday night, kind of busy and all but not a good enough reason to be slacking on the job. We were seated in a booth after 10 minutes of waiting since others were in front of us.
While we were super starving and all… our «server» took forever to come by and even drop off some waters. We had to waive down some other employee walking down the hallway to ask for our server.
The 3 stars go to our server for being so attentive to our requests. She did a better job of making our late night dinner pleasant. I had the Chicken and Shrimp Tequila Tango from the 2 for $ 20 with an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. Both tasted… okay… not that great or outstanding.
Applebee’s is just «A-​OK» I don’t think it really tastes as good as it used to [no matter which Applebee’s I go to].
