I love Home Goods so much! However, this one is next to a TJ Maxx, which is owned by the same company. I saw the same chair at both places. TJ Maxx had it for $ 99 while Home Goods was selling it for $ 120. What the – The store itself was relatively neat and organized(as best as a Home Goods can do). But the fact that the same chair was cheaper at TJ Maxx makes them lose a star because that’s just weird pricing.

This awesome store suffers from its location. HomeGoods is my favorite spot for every odd and end my house may need, but this location shares its parking lot with the local Walmart so parking/driving can be a nightmare. They’re also opening a new PetSmart very soon to also share the parking lot. One thing I found interesting about this spot is the TJ Maxx right next door. It’s nice, if you need clothes, but the same company next door to each other? Seems like they’re hurting their own profit margin. I imagine TJ Maxx’s home section doesn’t really move.

This place is great to find accent pieces or random kitchen, bath or cooking pieces. Ofcourse this place can be a hit or miss when looking for specific items so if u see something that u love or need– get it then because it might not be there when u go back.

Why did I not know about this place before??? I went to a Home Goods when I was a child with my mom-you know when you’re in that«please don’t take me to another home furnishings store, Ma, we have 25 different types of curtains!» Since then I hadn’t been to a Home Goods. This is very sad-but good on my wallet-because it’s easy to spend a pretty penny in this establishment. You will find things that you«need». The items are unique and the gourmet foods are reasonably priced and perfect for gift baskets. They also have some great wine accessories, artwork, and glassware. I could spend hours in this store. Go-you won’t regret it!

Discounts, discounts, and more discounts! That’s what this clean store’s all about. Usually I look in the lighting, glassware and plate sections in case they have anything that I need and at a good price. The prices on the drinking glass sets that they have(which is what I bought recently) is cheaper than the other places. It’s always good stopping in here!

As far as HomeGoods go, this is probably one of the biggest and cleanest I have ever been to, and they have an enormous selection of goods. Some of their sections vary in size compared to other combination Marshalls/HomeGoods(like their bathroom section seemed somewhat small compared to the size of their store), but they make up in furniture, mirrors, art work, lighting and bedding. And this goes for every HomeGoods/Marshalls, but their stuff is usually still in pretty good shape and relatively in season. Case in point — some ugly Tommy Hilfger throw pillow with a lobster on it was $ 25 at HomeGoods, and at the Macy’s at the Mall at Short Hills? The pillow was $ 80. Same day. Maybe some stitching was off or some vendor couldn’t hawk it quickly enough, but just goes to show you that HomeGoods knows what’s up.
