First time customer… Read reviews for this shop and decided to have my car smog tested at this location on a Thursday at noon and there were no cars in line, pulled up to the station and the attendant, Andrew, was ready to service my car… it was done in less than 15 min. Good customer service… Not sure how long the wait would be on a weekend, but with this kind of friendly service, it’s hard to beat! Thanks Andrew!

Best smog check experience so far! Andrew is quick, courteous and efficient at what he does. I was literally in and out the shop in 10minutes. Professional service, no headaches. Good location as well, came here in the evening and fucked up 5 tacos at the taco truck 20 feet away!
Will definitely return with all my vehicles as well as recommend friends and family. This will be my go to smog check every time it is due. Quick, friendly, and very reasonably priced!

After garaging my car for many years, it was finally time to take her back out and get her registered, insured and smogged so that she could be driven legally on California roads. The guys at Union City Smog Check/​76 Gas Station were very helpful in giving me advice on passing the smog check. I told them my car was just serviced including changing the battery and they explained that my car had to be driven at least 40 – 50 miles and started on a cold morning before their computers could read the emission information. There was one particular mechanic named Ken who helped me out on four different occasions. The total smog check fee came out to a little over $ 40 bucks. Great deal and great service! I would definitely go back there again when the next smog check is due.

Andrew was very helpful and efficient. He gave me a quote over the phone. When I got there, he was with another customer but he acknowledged me and let me know it would be a 5 min wait. After he finished with the other customer he did my smog. He was friendly and fast. I was out of there within 20 mins. Andrew made it short and simple! Plus, he plays really good music! I highly recommend him!

First time getting a smog check by myself and TBH I was super nervous about it. But going it was absolutely easy and painless. The mechanic that helped me, Andrew, was amazingly nice and very helpful. I only had one person in front of me and they were already 5 mins from finishing. Whole thing took only 15 – 20 mins! Highly, highly recommend!

Today I brought my 3rd car in for a smog today. This place has the best customer service. They constantly keep you updated on your car status, great tips to maintain my car and I was also in and out within 30 minutes and that was with another car ahead of me! Trust me, this place is the go to spot if you need your car smog for that yearly DMV crap we all go through. Especially if Andrew is working, you will definitely feel good about your car being serviced.
*note* I recommend calling ahead of time to see how many cars are ahead of you so you can anticipate any wait.

my first time getting a smog check, I had no idea where to go so I went on Unilocal.I saw the reviews for this particular spot and couldn’t pass it up. he made my first smog check such a breeze! definitely coming back here when the time comes around again.
he is super nice and super patient. especially when I couldn’t find the necessary documents fast enough. his calm and collected personality definitely rubbed off on me when I was tossing papers everywhere just to find what I needed.
will definitely recommend this place to all of my family and friends!

The guys here are great! I literally pulled up and was helped write away– no wait time. The guy who helped me was polite and friendly. He said it would be about 15 minutes and it was. I got my certificate paid and was on my way. The good news too is my car passed– always a fear since I have an older Toyota, but it made it to ride the roads for another couple of years at least.
You can also get a coupon if you check in on Unilocal.Great place. I’ll be back next time I need some smog checked!

I did a Unilocal search looking for a Smog check with good reviews close to where I live and found Union City Smog Check.
I’ve taken both of our cars here on multiple occasions over the years, and each time has been exactly the same:
— No wait ahead of me
— Smog test done in under 10 minutes
— Friendly service
I paid $ 60 per car last time, which is a little on the high side. But the convenience more than makes up for that, so I’ll be back!

This is my follow up review.
Awesome staff. I’ve taken 2 of our cars here and they always do an amazing job.
1 car I had to take in twice because it was my own fault, but they educated me on what mistake I made and how to correct it. I rarely drive my miata and I would unplug the battery. They informed me that you will loose all of the vehicle data that is needed to pass smog. The car has a complete stock engine. I needed to drive the car around for 150 miles to get new data and then come back.
Came back and got the smog with flying colors. I A’s it. Got a 4.0 GPA. Take that!
