A1 Mission Smog

It is the time of the year to do my smog. I have been looking everywhere for a good price. Because last time I got scammed and I was not happy about it.
I went through 4 places and at the end I got here A1 Mission. I almost skip this place because the previous review. But luckily all places I went either too expensive and need to waited. So I just take my chances.
So when I got there and presented my coupon and DMV papers and asked him how much it would cost for Audi A4 2003 with this coupon «$ 24.95». And he said 35 bucks out the door: service fee + ETF + CA Cert. and I agree. He was polite and normal. Everything went smoothly as expected.

I highly recommend to look for a deal before you go anywhere for smog. The price for me went from $ 50+cert+ETF down to $ 35 that include everything.
I will definitely keep this place in mind when I need to do another smog as long as he able to keep the price competitive.

This guy has a coupon online that say $ 24.95 smog check test only + $ 8.25 Certificate fees. When I called him on the phone, he assured me that the total will be $ 39.95 for my ’96 toyota celica. I brought my car over and have it smog. After it is done, he told me $ 50. I asked him what happened to $ 39.95? and he said that is without certificate. The guy is also very rude. He has no facial expression what so ever. He will not think twice about scamming you if you give him a chance. Oh, and no free car wash even though it is printed on the coupon.

It’s that time of year to get our smog checks again. On this companies website they advertise multiple times that their price is guaranteed to be $ 19.95 AND you get a free car wash. This sounded like a good deal to me so I had my husband take our 2 cars there. My husband even took in a coupon with him showing the guaranteed $ 19.95 price with the free car wash. Well after the smog check the owner of this place charged us $ 50 per car! That’s right $ 100 total for 2 cars! He also did not give us a car wash as advertised. When asking him about the «guaranteed» price, he stated that it was not true, that there is fine print somewhere on his website (which I couldn’t find, by the way) that stated that the price is not guaranteed for all situations, or some crap like that. Well, all I can say is he was rude to us, didn’t give us the advertised price OR the free car wash and so I suggest that no one else go here or expect to be treated the same!
