Pump It Up

We hosted our daughter’s massive 7^th birthday party here; the kids and adults had a great time. Though we were a large party, there was plenty of food and fun for everyone. Our party hosts were great about returning our calls and adjusting to our guest count updates and subsequent additions to our food order. The hosts kept the kids busy and taking advantage of each room. I appreciated the free downloads of party pics; I only wish we had set aside time for a family photo. I also liked receiving a free pass as a birthday gift; we redeemed at at an open jump during winter break.

This place is great for a party event. It is short, sweet and over.
We had our son’s 7^th birthday party with about a dozen other kids. They all had a great time. The staff takes care of everything. We brought our own cake and ice cream when we checked in. They collect all the gifts in a cart which is convenient.
There are two play rooms and the kids play for about a half an hour in each room. Then they take you to their dining area where they sing Happy Birthday and serve the food we ordered. We ordered six pizzas, a tray of buffalo wings, a tray of salad, and fruits.
They contract out the food at Round Table Pizza. This was the reason I can’t give them five stars. We made it a point that there will be enough food so we over ordered. You can only add more to your order within 20 minutes or so but during that time, you have no idea how hungry the kids and adults will be. As a result, we over ordered and ended up taking home a bunch of pizzas and the rest of the food.
The place is clean and the staff are friendly, attentive, and do their jobs well.
For the host, parking is convenient because they reserve a spot for you right in front.
At the end, they pack all the left over food for you and help you load them in your vehicle.
Great staff.
Will do another party here again.

Took my daughter here this past Sunday for the first time during an open play session. $ 10 per child and adults are free. Wasn’t crowded at all. Many jumpers with slides, one regular jumper, balls with hoop, foam building pieces, arcade games, etc. My 2 year old enjoyed herself. I did have to join in on the fun since my daughter is smaller and couldn’t climb the slides by herself like the older kids. Cons: first room they took us too had a strange odor. All in all will be back.

Great party! I have all praises for the Pump It Up staff. My son celebrated his 4^th birthday party in April 2015. I reserved the venue/​package in Feb 2015 and Gabby assisted me with the reservation. She explained to me the process of ordering food, payments, etc. She answered all my questions, I called back a few times and she was always eager to assist me. The 2 young staff members that hosted the party were great too. The staff helped me arrange 4 dozen cupackes on the cupcake stand and set up the cake. There were 25 kids in our party + 40 adults. We all didn’t fit in the bigger party room; but the staff accommodated my request to arrange the room to fit more people. Some of our guests stood out the door by the hallway, but that was a given since the space was limited. They did an awesome job decorating the room to make it look festive. The food was decent. We ordered pizza, salad, pasta, fruits, juices and sodas. We spent a great amount of $$$$, but I must say it was worth it. Everyone enjoyed the food; both the adults and kids were jumping on the inflatables. Thanks Pump It Up Union City!

I came here today for a my niece’s birthday party. They pretty much work on clock work. So first 15 minutes is really to get the kids understanding the rules and getting people signing in for waivers. Then we are shuttled into the first room with the first set of bouncing slides and such. There are bottled waters for sale but apparently you can bring in water and food. My brother had bought small bottles of water from Costco and brought in their own cupcakes and pizza from Round Table Pizza.
After half an hour in the first room and a special Hurricane tube thing that all the kids got to play in. We were shuffled into the second bounce room. This one had more slides and a ball shooting thing. After another half hour in this room, they shuffled us into the room where we sang happy birthday and a slide show of photos which the employee took during the whole session played on the screen. Also balloons on sticks were given to the kids.
It was pretty much a well oiled machine. The only thing I would be concerned about is the music that’s being played isn’t quite appropriate for kids. While we were there they played This Band Perry’s «When I Die Young» and Maroon 5’s «This Love.» If you listen to the lyrics… not appropriate for kids. I would say consider playing kid friendly lyric music especially since this place is for kids. The adults have plenty of benches to look at their phones for their own entertainment. Also you have to fend and make sure your kids are being safe because there will be no supervision for any of them. Otherwise, only thing you need to consider is bring quarters for those kids who want to play air hockey or arcade games because it doesn’t come with the price of the place.

These people should be reported to the heath department in Union City, OMG please try the first room its bad for the kids !!! its smells Mold, Socks, and toxics and people sweating, very very bad air circulation we complained to the employees and they said we know its really bad and the asked the management to change the carpets !!!, Omg I will be calling The city that’s very very bad for the kids.
This place should be a sage place for kids not a toxic Zone !! thx

We were invited to 2 birthday parties that was held here (both, years apart). The first room (room A), had 3 inflatable jumpers and the second room (room B), had 3 jumpers and a few game stations (played in a dark room). Since we were allowed to have a maximum of 6 people in each jumper at one time, I wished they had more jumpers to fill out the space. The last party I went to, we had at least 50 people. If you do the math, that’s only 18 people playing, simultaneously. The remaining 32 people were just idle and waiting for their turn. Also, for a facility that hosts birthday parties, 3 restrooms (2 female & 1 male) is not enough. They also need to expand their parking lot. If you end up coming in late, you’re stuck parking on the street.

easy peasy!!! my son Darien had such a great time at his pump it up party a few years ago that he decided he wanted to come here again for his 11^th bday. our schedule has been slammed the past few weeks because of bball practice and tournaments so I just wanted to book something where I knew everything would be taken care of for me… and it was!
booking online was convenient, received a call next day to confirm then another call the following week to go over food orders. the person calling (I think his name was jeff) was really friendly.
day of the party the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. they participated, had fun with the kids, and really did their job (by this I mean they didn’t look like they were dawdling around or waiting for everything to end. the ladies that helped us were very engaged and attentive). lots of room for 15 kids plus adults to run around in. we didn’t have any safety issues bc our kids attending were a little older but we’ve had smaller tots here before and they’ve been ok. I think for smaller ones you would just have to watch who they’re near to make sure a big kid doesn’t jump and launch them by accident.
thanks pump it up for making my party planning an easy experience. kids had a blast, sorry they played with the wacky flailing inflatable tube man outside after: T… they really had fun!!!

Maddy had such a great time last year, she requested it again this year! 6 candles later and we are back for more jumping, endless bubbles and slides for days! It’s a well ran establishment with young ladies and gents running the whole thing like a well oiled machine. You’re ushered in and out of each play room right at the point of exhaustion! Then into another play room where more fun is to be had. I’d suggest a smaller group of 10 kids as it’s pretty nuts in there but manageable with either size. The party in the cake room is the perfect way to end a busy 2 hours of jumping! I don’t even have kids and I had the best time! I got to jump and bounce with all the kids and go down the slides and up the obstacle courses. (I’m sure the kids kind thought I was crazy but I had a blast and the birthday girl seemed to get a kick out of me playing.) all that jumping and I was rewarded with diet coke. It was a good day.

Kids love this place.
However, I found the activities and play equipment disappointing. The smell was overwhelming, it reminded me of a gym. It was all stale sweat, dirt and the smell of the equipment. We will not be going back.

We came here for a birthday party and it was a pretty huge place. We get to play in two different rooms for 30 minutes each, then we went into a party room to eat. Overall, I like how it’s roomy for kids to run around without getting hit or knock down. A cool place for birthday parties.

When I was jumping I and my family got hurt and hit about 20 times. Not worth the money. The pizza wasn’t even good. Was still fun to jump

I’ve been here a few times for birthday parties. I like how they show the kids a video in the beginning so they know about the rules, however most of the kids don’t listen lol! You go into a first room that has a bunch of jumpy houses and they even have this cool video game thing where you’re on camera and there are valls on the tv screen that are coming out towards you and you have to pop them. It’s like a virtual video game I guess, it’s pretty cool. Then you move on to a second room where there are more jumpy houses. After that you go into the party room where you eat. I must say though, PLEASE ENLARGE YOUR ROOMS! The room is sooo small, crowded and cramped! It’s pretty ridiculous that the room is that small. Other than that, I like Pump it Up. The kids enjoy it.

Just had my sons 6^th birthday here. It was great! The kids ran wild, parents got to talk, the pizza was from round Table — nice sept up! Kids had a blast! Nice that they have the shoes in a rollable shoe cubby.

Went for a birthday party — this location is HUGE!!! They have two massive arenas so the kids never get bored! The staff seemed pretty good, one girl seemed new and was training, but she did great!
Fun for a kiddo party!

I have celebrated my kids birthdays here for years because it’s private, the hosts are awesome, the pizza was delish (Mountain Mikes), used to be able to bring your own fruit and chips/​salsa. Glow in the dark parties are a must.
For my son’s last birthday in April, they changed the pizza provider to Domino’s. We weren’t happy at all about that.
You no longer can bring salsa for the chips you can bring or your own fruit which is not cool. Wish they kept their old policies… oh well my kids are growing up so don’t anticipate anymore parties here… :-(

My niece turned 9 and we had a birthday party here. She did 2 rooms and the party room. She had so much fun and the adults could just sit around and chill. which was great. I even had fun playing air hockey in the glow in the dark room and soccer kicks for points. Friendly staff, clean and private… enjoy!

My son and my little cousin had their birthday party here a month ago and I must say this is how it should always be done! Less hassle and worry for me — just have the attendees meet there, let them play, feed them and then go home! This place was organized, the jumper rooms were spacious and seemed clean. The employees were there watching over for the kids safety and even played some games with all of the 15 kids! We ordered the GLOW jumper party and the kids/​adults LOVED it! Some of the parents even joined in on the slide race and was playing around as well!
This place is awesome and made the birthday party simple, easy and fun! No set up/​clean up! Love It!

Just had my son’s 5^th birthday party here. It was great, the staff was very helpful, and it was a nice change for me not to have to do anything! I added the glow option to my party package and everyone loved it. Although it can get expensive when you start adding things to your party package, it is still highly recommended!

This place really knows how the birthday party process works.
You come into one room, the kids play like crazy, then you go into the second room. The second room, they continue to play like crazy, but in the dark with black lights and lazers and stuff. Awesome for the kids, but gave me a headache.
Then, you go into this cramped little room to eat pizza and cake. The room really is way too small, with very little room for adults to sit. We all had to stand up. And since we all pretty much stood up in the other rooms as well (very limited adult seating) it kinda sucked.
Overall, this place is a clean, well-​oiled machine for birthday parties. But they should really look into some more seating, in both the party rooms and eating room…
