Henna Creation

So talented! Great experience with them :) she drew a beautiful piece of art in no time at all! I was amazed by how beautiful everyone’s henna looked. In my case, she was used at a corporate event.

Alapi is wonderful. I have gone to her two times so far. The first time I went was in July — I found her on Unilocal because she was a mile away from where I was eating so I decided to try her out. I went to her again yesterday because I had a botched henna job at a local henna salon near my home (do NOT go to Salons! I recommend professional henna artists who work from their own studio or home). Alapi covered the awful design with her gorgeous design wonderfully! She made the henna right when I called to tell her I would be coming over in 15 minutes. She is highly accommodating! Even though she’s around 25 miles away from where I live I will continue to go to her for my mehndi needs. She was thorough with the design and continued to perfect it when she thought of something to make the design stand out even more. She was super friendly and offered us water while we waited for the design to dry. As someone who grew up with mehndi/​henna as a part of my culture — I know great mehndi– and Alapi delivers. I love my henna! I have gotten so many compliments on it– on the design, how intricate it is, how quick it took Alapi all while still creating amazing quality. If you’re looking for a henna artist, look no further.

I am behind on writing this review, but I wanted to write one right before I make another appointment! :-)
About a month ago, I was eager to get a henna before going off to Las Vegas. I Unilocaled and found a couple nearby, but I liked the reviews for this one.
I met Alapi at her home and she is very talented. VERY (Check out the painting she made in her living room!!!) It was all so easy to her and I literally just asked for her to do whatever she wanted to. With ease and gracefulness, it was amazing to watch. With all her helpful advice, my henna lasted the whole trip. I am excited to go back and get another one. I have already recommended all my friends to go to her as well, as I know this is the only place I will go to.

my first time getting henna and I fell in love! Alapi educated me about the culture behind the body art. She makes everything at home and straight from India. Her place was super welcoming and made me feel at home. The art I got was beautiful. Alapi was super sweet!

Alapi came to a bachelorette party for a close friend — in Pescadero. It was difficult to find someone to come to our location — but we got so lucky with Alapi. She arrived on time — with a lovely smile. She is super nice and super talented. Every one of us loved our henna design Alapi listened to our preferences, made suggestions and showed us pictures and options. You could not ask for anything more for a fun event — and I will be looking for excuses to call her for future parties/​events!

Alapi did a great job at my bridal henna along with the rest of the ladies! She was very pleasant to work with and had very positive attitude throughout the entire process. The henna came out really dark as well! I highly recommend Alapi.

Alapi is a seriously talented artist. She’s focused, well-​equipped, and able to work very quickly. Her designs are beautiful.
Pre-​event communication was a little difficult, and since I didn’t have any references for Henna Creation, I was a little worried. It was my responsibility to kick off my brother’s wedding weekend with a successful mehndi party, and I didn’t want anything to go wrong.
But once Alapi arrived at our bridal mehndi party, she exceeded everyone’s expectations. Two-​thirds of the guests were the women in my Indian family, who have seen and had mehndi done many times. My cousin is a mehndi artist herself. All were impressed with Alapi’s designs, the fine-​ness of the lines and the detail.
As cost was a concern for us, I really appreciated Alapi’s ability to meet her time estimates very well — she was able to do exactly what we needed in exactly the time she’d estimated. This is rare, and shows how well she knows her art.
I wholeheartedly recommend Alapi for any mehndi event, and would absolutely call her again for one of my events.

The henna was very, very light, despite leaving it on overnight. One could hardly see it on the feet or the back of the hands. It was a huge disappointment.
