Espresso Stop

Pretty good. Afternoon barista makes better drinks. Drinks overflow a lot in the morning inconsistent drink mixing and not thoroughly heated.

For being a drive up coffee place this place sure has quite the selection. Everything from Mexican mochas to blended drinks Espresso Stop will satisfy any coffee junkie’s needs.
Espresso Stop is located right in front of the Ukiah Coop (which by the way is also worthy of checking out) and staffed by some of the most friendly baristas in town. And given they are trapped in a tiny space for 8 plus hours a day, how they keep a smile on their face is beyond me. The service is always excellent and they pay close attention to the details. For example, they make sure to put a little adhesive sticker thing over your drink hole. If you’re like me I now you get annoyed when your coffee sneaks out when you hit a speed bump.
If you are traveling up (or down) the 101, just take the Gobbi Street exit and head west. The Espresso Stop is right across the street from the Safeway parking lot.

It really is as good as it gets. Fair trade coffee. Smiling faces. A TARDIS-​worth of flavorings, options, teas, and variations, all somehow fitting neatly into this little drive-​thru booth.
I am not unbiased here; the booth is run by my amazing brother-​in-​law Dan and his fantabulous wife Narissa. But come on! I’ve been told that when they see one of their regulars pull into the parking lot, they start the drink order up right away. It’s like your favorite independent, funky, full-​service coffee shop, except you don’t have to interrupt your errands to get your coffee on.
Plus, the little vent holes on the top of their coffee lids are now covered up with ADORABLE little owl stickers, so it doesn’t splash you with hot drink droplets as you cram it into your drink holder and drive away!
Why would you go anywhere else?

My latte stop of choice in Ukiah. Love the blend of coffee they use. Service is always friendly (how they stay friendly cooped up in the booth I don’t know). With the club card every seventh beverage is free. Soy milk available for those w/​sensitivities to milk.
