I had to call the police because after three days of not getting in after signing the lease I had had enough. The attendant told me I had to deal with not getting in. I stated unacceptable, she said get out of my office. I asked for the property manager. She stated I will call her. I wanted to wait she would not allow. As the police showed up. I was given a key pod by the grounds Keeper. Nice man. Plus, I was worried why no one in town stayed more than the lease, I took a short term over $ 1000 a month. Then told go get a hotel until we figure it out Monday. Like the manager does not have a cell phone or the responsibility to fix issues on weekends!

Steer clear of this place. It’s like the song Hotel california «you can check out but you can never leave»

ME: my rent café account is locked by management and I don’t use checks just bank card or credit card. How can I pay you my final will you take cash
THEM: You can mail a money order or cashier’s check.
ME: can i just come give you 20 bucks and you keep change for your trouble. I just want to clear this up and I don’t have time to run to the bank etc…
THEM: Am sorry but we can not take cash.
I lived here a year and six months. They are nice when you go see the place then treat you like your lucky to live there after. I believe they are just harassing me because I did not renew my lease. Save yourself some trouble and find a modern office that takes debit and credit cards. checks are a dead format.

The Madison Apartment homes are so awesome. The rebt is a little high but that’s ok because the amenities make it worth it! We get free extended basic cable and Internet. Also the apartments are fenced in wishing makes it super safe for the kids to ride bicycles. Property is clean and the neighbors are quiet all the time. Gym, pool and playground. Also a very nice community center for get togethers.
