I am new to Tyler, TX& I’ve never felt as welcomed as I have by Megan. She have worked with me throughout this«Out-of-City» contract. I think… I know you’ll like The Arbor on Chimney Rock. Thank you Megan. You’re awesome!

I seriously recommend NOT choosing The Arbors to live. Poor mananement and lack customer service and tenant priority. I will never rate The Arbors a place to call home. If you can, look elsewhere! !

I just relocated to Tyler so I initially heard of this place because my boyfriend lives there and i’m so glad he does because this place is awesome! May I just start off by saying that when I pulled in here with my moving truck and began to unload my things a nurse who lived near me and next to where I parked offered to help me unpack with her son. I told her I was only bringing in a few things for the night and i’d hire some Mexicans the next day and she asked if I had a mattress I needed help bringing in or if I wanted to borrow an airbead. She was so nice even though I didn’t need anything. Then she told me where to find some cheap movers and how much to offer them etc. Gave me a great impression of my neighbors. Now i’ll begin on the apartments… The community itself has 6 floorplans for 1 – 2 bedrooms and some are 2 floors others single level. There’s a creek that runs through the community and tons of mature trees all over. There’s 2 laundry centers that are cheap at just $ 1 for a wash or dry. A kidney shaped pool is nicely located and gets tons of sun. So far the staff is really nice and easy to talk to. There’s a tennis court/basketball area as well. There’s trails that walk around the apartments which are well lit also. The apartments are gated but be careful because either they’re broken and always open OR they’re working and people either forget their gate card or someones trying to get in and will mow another car down to get in when someone else opens it. I even saw some jerk drive without his lights on just to get into the gate. And some people will even try to speed into the exit only gate just to get in. For guests of renters they can scan the call box list for your name/apt # and then ‘call you’ on the phone and you can press a button to buzz them in. If that doesn’t work your recourse is to walk to the gate and let them in using your gate card. Either way this is a seemingly safe area. My apartment is awesome I got a new fridge with icemaker and new dishwasher but also its huge! There’s a washer/dryer room and a celing fan in the bedroom. It backs onto the ‘creek’ and there’s a bunch of birds and squirrels around which is fairly quaint. The mature trees provide for an excellent view and privacy shading from the people across the creek. I love the floorplan that gives a seperate entry into the loo from the living room which is great for when guests are over and I have two closets which rocks. The apt. community itself is in a great location near the pub, gas stations, and just down the way from Brookshires so if you work nearby imagine the money for gas you’ll be saving! The neighbors for the most part are quiet and dont rock out to music at all hours or party on the balcony all night. They’re friendly and lots of them have pets which is nice. I give this place a 5 out of 5… and highly reccomend it!
