History

Established in 2010.

SEO Skyrocket is a digital marketing agency in Tyler TX that was founded by accident in March 2010 by a youth pastor in Tyler, TX, named Chad Barnes. At the time, Chad had neither built a website nor heard the term «SEO.» He just knew that the church he served had a dated, incredibly difficult-​to-​edit website that had to go. Because the budget was tight at the time, his elders essentially said to him, «We see the need, but we don’t see the money.» So, off he went into the world of web design and search engine optimization in search of a new website for Sylvania Church in Tyler, TX. After months of exploring website builders, Chad landed upon WordPress, the heavyweight champion of DIY website builders. Several months later, the church website was live and the beginnings of a digital marketing agency were in place. Years later, he still loves web design and SEO and he is still cranking out beautiful websites aimed not only search engine discovery, but also at on-​site conversion.
