Went in for a flat tire. They would not look at it without providing my home address and phone number stating that «it was California Law». It is not. After they quoted my $ 50 a tire more than the guy down the street (I showed him on my phone), I left and went to America’s Tire. They quoted me a fair price, and did not ask for any personal information until after I had agreed to service. I completely regret going to this store.

Was recommended to ask for «Jim», was a really nice guy, fair quote, no mumbo-​jumbo and I felt I got a good deal. Thanks

So here is the deal. When it comes to cars it’s an investment. The investment doesn’t stop with the car payment. It cost money to maintain a vehicle and you need someone who will be honest and do a good job. This is that place. No one, including me wants to hear that your car is due for an expensive repair or maintenance requirement but I know I am getting the job done at a fair price. Many will give bad reviews when they feel they have been wronged but the reality is that when it come to car repairs, you are going to have to pay to have your car run at its peak performance. Done !!!

The worse service I’ve ever had. I would give 0 if it’s an available choice. I took my car for a nail patch, they charged me $ 46 but I find out it’s still leaking the air the next morning. So I took it back, they did check again and tell me there is a leak on the side which is unfixable area and ask me to change the tile there. I understand the leak on the side is not fixable, but why don’t they tell me the day before and still change me $ 46 for the nail patch. They should tell me I need tile change. I bet they just want charge me little bit first and want me to go back change tile there. Very unprofessional. I definitely will not change my tire there. I had couple of service there before never had good service experience. But it’s close to my house, so I still end up going there. I will never go this place again.

Unfortunately my wife’s car tire found a nail and I wanted to get it patched up for her. I called Tustin Ranch Tire around 8:30 on a Saturday. Within a couple rings they answered, I shared my plight and they confirmed that if I dropped off the car soon they could get it taken care of within a few hours. In under two hours they called, let me know the nail is out, tire is patched and ready to be picked up.
When I picked it up I asked about the discount offered for checking in on Unilocal,and they graciously and kindly took $ 10 off. The total bill was $ 35 after the discount. While I’m sure there are some other places I could have gotten this taken care of for cheaper, I would absolutely go here again because of their customer service superior to the vast majority of auto related businesses out there. I don’t typically expect this industry to under promise and over deliver-​but that is exactly what I experienced.
Thanks for allowing me to get my wife’s car fixed and still have most of my Saturday left to enjoy!

Do not come here! They have the worst customer service and will say anything not to correct their mistakes. I wish read the Unilocal reviews before i gave them my money.
I ended up here because costco couldnt get my tires in time for a road trip I was taking. Bought a set of 4 tires along with one tire sensor to replace a bad one. They charged me $ 120 for the sensor which was a little steep compared to everyone else. I admit, I was happy that my car stopped beeping at me about the bad sensor when i got it back, but that would be very short lived. The next day i left for my trip and 3 of the sensors were out. However, one came back on after awhile, so i had two working. one front and one back.
I come back after the trip and the owner or manager gives me the spiel about batteries going bad, yada yada, but they would check it out. So they take my car and say yes the batteries are completely dead on the 3 old sensors. I ask if it isnt a weird coincidence that they would all go bad at once right after they changed my tires and they insist that it was the case and asked if i want to buy 3 more. I decline, get in my car to leave and now ALL 4 sensors are out. In fact it turns out that the new one i bought was out the entire time. They take it around back again and after awhile give me the keys and say they got the 2 rear ones working including the new one, but the 2 fronts need to be changed. I asked why the new one was out and mention that one of the fronts were working when i got here. This is when the owner/​manager starts raising his voice and is borderline yelling at me. He says look we got this one working. This is the new one and the bottom line is the other ones are dead, but we got one working. He wont even listen to anything else and huffs back in before i could state my argument. i left, fed up with dealing with them and notice that all 4 sensors are now on but the 2 fronts are reading my tire pressure incorrectly (1 psi). Its obvious they dont know what theyre doing nor do they care to rectify the problem. ill deal with incorrect readings for now, but Bottom line. go to costco or anywhere else.

I have been coming here for a few years and I will continue to come back. The issue with auto repair is that you will not always like what your going to hear but this shop is honest and will get the work done. They stand behind their work and will tell you what you need to know whether you want to hear it or not. Great customer service.

Do not go to this place. I went to them for several years for routine stuff but when it came to a large repair they greatly overcharged me. After much research with other shops and dealerships I saw how much I was overcharged. When I confronted the manager about my findings, I was offered a $ 350 refund. What does that say??? I then reported this to The Bureau of Automotive Repairs. I am a single female and I felt taken advantage of.

I opted to go to Tustin Ranch Tire this past Sunday to get a new set of tires for my Equinox after having driven close to 70K since I bought the vehicle.
They were not my first choice. I tried going to Just Tires, but there were 12 cars waiting and 4 in the bays getting worked on after their online appointment system failed and I didn’t want to wait. Enter Goodyear.
Gustavo treated me well and explained what was going on with my alignment. They had the same tires I was going to get at the other place, but at a higher price and they would not price match. That fact just pushed me to grade them from 3 down to 2 ½ stars. They gave me a credit card with a rebate per tire, but even with the rebate, the price of each tire was more at Goodyear.
And then there was the rear end alignment fiasco. They ordered two specialized kits to complete the work, made me wait for that then decided they couldn’t use them because they ordered the wrong kits and told me I’ve got bent bolts. And I’m not that surprised somethings bent with all the commuting I do back and forth to work and home. I told them I’ll take it to the dealer. He said it would be cheaper if Goodyear did the work. Hey, you just tried to sell me something I didn’t even need and wasted my time. The dealer has not done that to me ever. 2 stars.
With 4 new tires installed, the rear end on my SUV feels like its snaking all about on the freeway. Not good.

BEWARE. SCAMMERS and LIERS.
I came in here because i needed a smog check and oil change. Upon picking up my car, i got the same story as noted below in other reviews… My rear rotors were majorly under spec and that both my front and rear brakes were in the red. That it was unsafe to be driving my car and needed to be fixed ASAP. My safety came with a $ 700 price tag, but it was my safety right!!!
Little did they know i have mechanic friends that work in the industry as well, so i had them take a look. Breaks were not even below 40% and my rotor was 100% fine. They blatantly lied to make money. DO NOT COME IN HERE.
I will give one star because they were open on Sunday and that was convenient. :)

Staffs here are so friendly and helpful. Jim knew that I was in a hurry, and he helped me to have my car done ASAP so that I wouldn’t be late and miss my appointment at DMV. There is a 10% off coupon for checking in at Unilocal.Too bad tire repair isn’t eligible to use this coupon.

These people of crooks. They wanted to charge me $ 6k for a power steering pump change out. Took the car somewhere else, the pump was fine.
Never go back to this place again.

THIS IS A RIP-​OFF ALERT!
THIS COMPANY BLATANTLY LIED TO ME AND BLATANTLY ATTEMPTED TO RIP ME OFF! BEWARE! GO ELSEWHERE! GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! READ THE ENTIRE STATEMENT BELOW:
I took my Jaguar here for tires. I bought four new tires. Manager told me, upon inspection of my breaks, that I needed new break pads all the way around, and new ROTORS all the way around. The manager told me that «one rotor was down to less than a centimeter and I shouldn’t even be driving the car — because I was almost metal to metal.» He played the «its not safe to drive» card. He gave me a total parts quote of approximately $ 3,000.00! Since the car only had 30,000 miles on it, I became suspicious about the parts price quote and the need for new rotors on such a new car. I called the Jaguar dealer.
Jaguar (a dealership no less) quoted me $ 1,900.00 for the same break pad and rotor parts! But the best part is yet to come. When I dropped my car off at the JAGUAR dealer they agreed that I did in fact need new break pads all the way around.
BUT THE DEALER TOLD ME THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH MY ROTORS!
Stay away from this ripoff joint. These guys tried to rip me off for almost $ 2,000.00 by gouging me on parts prices and then by attempting to provide repairs that I did not need. Shame on you guys. Shame on the dishonest manager. Pure slime.

I came here the first time when one of my tires was losing air. I came 15 minutes before they close and they happily accommodated me. Turned out that they found a nail in my tire and they patched up the hole. When I asked how much it would cost, they said Nothing! What costs $ 0 these days? I tipped the mechanic $ 5 and I was so grateful that they helped me. A few months later I came back to get a smog test done. They told me they are not star certified, looked at my car and said I need to get repairs done worth $ 1,000 to pass the smog test. It did not make sense to me so I went to another smog test facility. Within 10 minutes my car passed 100%. I then called Gus back at Tustin Ranch tire and told him I got the cert and they obviously did not know what they were doing. Lesson learned: if your tire needs air take it here but for anything else… don’t!

I took my car in for a simple oil change. While they had my car they called and told me I needed brakes rotors struts new tires (I just bought me tires 7 months ago). I picked up my car and had it checked some place else and I didn’t need any of those things. My tires needed to be rotated that’s it. They are so dishonest I would never take my car back No matter how good of a coupon they put out.

Please take note that is place is the last place on earth you should take your vehicle. Especially if you are a woman!
The last two times I have brought my truck in for a simple oil change and tire rotation, they have attempted to not only up sell me, but rip me off. Last week they received the last of my money. While performing the 3 services that I came in for (tire rotation, oil change, and cleaning of battery cables) I received a phone call stating that my truck was in desperate need of repairs. Air filter, brakes, rack and pinion with tie rods, alignment, new front shocks, new rear shocks, battery, power steering fluid exchange and brake fluid exchange. I was hit with a $ 2400 estimate. Try digesting that one! Additionally, when I said that I would need to talk to my husband in regards to this, the service personal kept pushing for me to take out a line of credit and told me my truck was not safe to operate. I may be a woman, but I drive a Ram 1500 Hemi and I’m not an idiot.
I took the estimate and my truck and left. Because of other reviews here on Unilocal,I found a mechanic that put my truck up on the hoist and walked me through what really needed to be fixed. I ended up needing new brakes and the rack and pinion replaced. (My truck is an 04. Normal wear and tear for 139K miles!) Here’s what did NOT need to be replaced: My NEW air filter, front shocks, back shocks, and the battery. Also, fluid exchanges should be PART of the rack and pinion replacement. NOT a separate cost. I was in an out of this reputable mechanic in less than 5 hours with a lifetime warranty and less than $ 900 in repairs. Additionally, I was never in any danger to operate my vehicle as suggested by the service personal.

I’ve been buying tires for quite some time in my 20 or so years of driving now. On a whim, I decide to give these guys a try since they are close to my house. I walked in to the shop and there are a few friendly guys sitting behind the counter. I proceed to sit own and let them know I need 4 tires for my SUV. Being Sunday, he couldn’t call his warehouse to verify how much it was going to be, so he tells me to call back in the morning.
I call the next morning and ask him to run me quote for the tires. The guy gives me a quote of 2 different types of tires that are available. Get this, $ 650+ each. Look, at least try to get my business. Tires are a commodity, everyone pretty much gets them from the same place. His competitors around the area are selling the same tires for $ 340 each. Making a $ 300+ markup per tire??? You’ve got to be kidding me. No thanks.

I did comeback when my car battery died on me, I had a pleasant service I have to say
battery lasted from 1996 the original battery, WOW!!!
they have a comfortable leather couch and tv, so you can wait here until they finish service, didn’t offer a ride, I was 5 minutes away but they were too busy no one available to give me a ride

I’m actually surprised at the low reviews because I’ve always had a good experience here. I’ve been going to this location for about 3 years for all of my tire services. I’ve definitely been here at least 10 times or more, and have worked with a few different guys; but, they’ve all been great! I have no complaints whatsoever.
Last year alone, I’ve come in at least 3 times for flat tires and they helped me immediately, even when I didn’t have an appt. Additionally, they patched up my tires for free! I’ve often stopped by here before long road trips to have them check my tire pressures and again, they would graciously check it right away for me. I’ve also had my smog check done 2 times here in the past 3 years. When I had to get new tires on 2 separate occasions, they were very helpful, gave me options & quotes, and had my tires by the next day.
One time, I had a flat in HB and stopped by some random tire place to get it patched. They wanted to charge me $ 25 to repair the flat and since my tire treads were low, they quoted me for new tires as well. I brought my car back here and ended up getting it patched for free and the tire quote they gave me here was cheaper for better tires. I often worked with Jim and Sergio who were always very friendly & helpful. Overall, my experiences here have been nothing short of stellar.
