Came here on a Monday night anticipating yummy tom yum! I love the combo of lemongrass and lime. As far as service, our waitress was either unenthusiastic or just reserved. I don’t think she said more than 5 or 6 words to us the whole time we were there, but that’s okay. I thanked her when she brought our food and I got a nod. My mom and I ordered a tom yum hot pot and a spicy lemongrass chicken at a spice level of 5 out of 10. The tom yum was lovely and the veggies were very fresh. My only disappointment was that the chicken dish was drowning in sauce! There was probably enough sauce for 2 dishes. Next time I’ll ask for less sauce. Also, I found it rather spicy for a 5. Then again I am sensitive to spice so perhaps someone else would say differently. I love Thai food and it satisfied my craving, but next time I’ll adjust my order accordingly.

Bomb Thai Food! Yellow Chicken Curry and Pad Thai I could live off of. Really good for takeout but if you have 5 minutes the food comes out insanely fast. Great for quick business lunches. Wine and beer but wish they had hard drinks as well.

7environment. 7service. 5food I ordered a Shrimp noodle soup. The shrimp tasted rancid. My goodness! I also ordered a black pepper steak. I felt eating a chemical steak. Not fresh at all!!! I don’t think I will come back this place again!

I liked that place the first time i went there. Second time did not like the food nor the service. The waitress looked lazy and was not pleasant. Food was not even well cooked. Never going back to that location nor recommending it.

Everytime I want something that’s different from the daily Asian cuisine, this is my go-to place. No nonsense, tasty foods and such a friendly staff. Love the papaya shrimp salad, yellow curry chicken that is all white meat, coconut ice-cream — LOVELOVELOVE!

Quickly becoming my favorite Thai restaurant, including the many I’ve been to on business in the Bay Area. The flavors are amazing., delectable, super pleasing. The pricing is very reasonable, and the setting is comfortable.

Clean, economical space in the District. Economical being my nice way of saying tight squeeze haha. Feels slightly crowded in here like they tried to maximize the number of patrons per square footage. As for the food, I got the shrimp pad see ew. Super bland, barely had any sauce on it, which made it really tough to enjoy… the shrimp itself was actually pretty good, not overcooked, great taste. My buddy got the yellow curry with chicken, which had a nice spicy kick to it and very rich flavor. Dang it, shoulda gone with my gut and stuck with a curry :) Overall, thought it was OK, not sure if I’ll make a second trip though. Meh

The food is good and the service is nice. We ordered the BBQ chicken, Curry Beef Fried Rice, Orange Chicken but called something else, Pineapple Fried Rice, and BBQ satay. I’ve tried better places but the décor, ambiance, and location is nice.

The Tom Yum soup with Seafood is Super Good and filling, which I was not expecting. Now I’m ready for a Tom Yom Nap! Perfect for cold weather

Came here with a few of my coworkers for lunch. It’s located right next to JT Schmidt in the back of The District. I suggest parking in the parking lot across from Target. The lunch specials are great. For $ 8.50, you get a bowl of soup, a salad, and an entrée of your choice. I can’t imagine coming here outside of lunch though. Today, I ordered their green chicken curry. Compared to their yellow curry, this one has more of a kick. It’s pretty creamy so stay away from this if you’re lactose intolerant. This spot is your typical thai joint, they serve your standard thai dishes just like you would expect. It’s certainly more westernized so don’t expect extremely authentic Thai cuisine. Overall, I like this place. I just don’t think they do much to really differentiate themselves from surrounding competitors.

I’ve heard mostly good things about this place from friends and coworkers so we decided to try it for lunch. The patio was crowded so we opted for a booth inside. The interior is pretty small, and it definitely felt like we were sharing the table with the two gentlemen next to us since there isn’t much space. Since it was lunch, they brought out rice soup right away. It was just ok, but my bf didn’t touch it — I kind of wish they would ask first since I hate to see food go to waste. We shared the Thai basil chicken and the lemongrass chicken. Both came with white rice and a small salad. The salad dressing was like straight sugar water so neither of us touched it after the first bite. Both entrees were pretty tasty, but didn’t have the freshness or spice we like from our regular hole in the wall joints. The rice was super dry, which gave me the impression that it had been sitting for a while. It ended up being $ 28 for both of us including beverages, which for a lunch special was on the pricier side. Service was good, so overall not a bad choice but definitely low on my list when I’m craving Thai food.

I give this place 3 stars for delivering me hot food and timely. However the food does not reminisce of Thai food. It is like bland no flavor food. The vegetarian rolls are good I really liked them but anything fried taste good, with a sauce. The coconut basil chicken is just terrible and the tom yum soup is terrible I will say they use all white meat, but they lack spice of every and any kind. Nope will not do this again

This is my go to Thai place in OC! Vegetarians — couple of the dishes that you must try! — Panang Curry(it’s my boyfriend’s favorite item in the menu) — Tofu with the peanut sauce(make it little spicy and it just tastes amazing) — vegetarian Pad Thai but have egg noddles and it will taste bomb. Trust me. Their staff is super friendly. One enjoys going there and getting the service there. There are som restaurants where you liked the food but if the staff or service wasn’t that great you wouldn’t think of going there again! Oh how can I forget their proportions are big! Every time I have gone there I have got myself a lunch for another day(yay for leftovers) !

Happy to see another location in the OC! The food is just as great as the other location but there are some differences(non-food wise). The restaurant is A LOT smaller so don’t recommend this for a large group. The layout is more for small, intimate groups. Despite the size and the crowds(it’s a populated area) we were seated very quickly in a spacious booth for 4. Again, fried tofu is a must and the traditional pad Thai is always a good choice. What set this location a little above the other is the extremely short amount of time we had to wait for our food. Which was appreciated as we had a movie to catch :-)

Love love thai food and especially a place like this that really delivers the experience. Didn’t actually know about this place until I accidentally passed by once after the movies. The pad thai, pad see ewe and drunken noodles are on par! There’s a good balance of sweet, smokiness and spiciness(if you request it). The food is not overly salty and you get a good portion for a good price. The rice and soups are flavorful too but I’d stick with noodles for the most part. The staff is extremely friendly and the owners even make a casual conversation with you when taking your order. The food comes out in a jiffy(less than 15 min) and wait time to get seated hasn’t been more than 10 min each time I stopped by during meal hours.

So my friend and I wanted to try something different, as we were stopping by the district. Lots of options here, and so after being so indecisive we both came to a consensus to try Thai bamboo. The indoor seating is super cute. Great for couples-or friends. We were greeted right away, and seated. Without evening asking for water the server, I think his name was Dao Dao(on the receipt) was super friendly. He offered a few suggestions of what was popular. My friend who has had experiences eating Thai food wanted some beef curry($ 11.00).I got I guess you could call the most common thing to get at a Thai place, the original pad Thai($ 12.00)which by the way comes with shrimp. I was craving some broccoli and they were able to add it into the stir fry, as well as other veggies that I requested. Overall the quality and portion size was great for the price. This place received 5 stars because of how excellent the service was. The speed of food, drink refills, additional requests, in addition to the cleanliness of this particular restaurant.(cause no offense to anyone most Asian places are pretty dirty)!

We came here for the lunch special pricing. If I had to pay regular pricing for the dishes, I would not opt to come here. The waiters and waitresses were all very friendly and professional. I appreciated that they offered a booth to us, some restaurants don’t really consider that. Before our main entrees came, they gave us each a small bowl of salty porridge, which wasn’t great but also wasn’t bad. We also got a thai iced tea($ 3.00) to share between us, which was decent — I’ve had better. As for the main dishes, I got the Pad See Ew with beef($ 8.50), and it was delicious! It consisted of a generous portion of meat, some shredded carrots, mushrooms, eggs, and chinese broccoli. My boyfriend got the Yellow Curry($ 8.50) with chicken, which was actually a bit spicy, which I did not expect. The Yellow Curry came with the chicken, potatoes, carrots, and eggplant. Both dishes came with a small serving of salad(aka chopped up lettuce) with a light/sweet vinaigrette. I am not really a salad person, but the vinaigrette was good! I do like the location, as it is in the District at Tustin. So if you’d like you can go wander around in the nearby shops either before or after your meal. They also have a Costco in the District area, so if you need gas, you can do that too! I would come back again, but ONLY for lunch specials. Basically nothing spectacular about the food, but nothing wrong with it either.

I ordered the papaya salad for lunch today. It came with shrimp, papaya on a bed of lettuce leaf. The sauce was very tangy and was absolutely delicious with the papaya and shrimp. My only concern was that as you reached the salad sitting on the bottom of the plate, the sauce gets a bit overwhelming. I think that’s why the piece of lettuce was there to prevent the papaya from soaking in the sauce… But I ended up eating it with the rest of my salad.

I had been meaning to stop by here for quite sometime, since I recently moved across the street. They are located within the district near valet. The restaurant is on the smaller side but they have a decent amount of tables both inside and out. We decided to sit outside, and went with the coconut milk soup with chicken, and a a beef stir fry dish. The stir fry was excellent, but the soup was a little bland. Our waitress was friendly, knew the menu well, and made a good recommendation. I would return to try some other dishes.

Your average Thai place they’ve got curries, soups, fried rice, ect. It’s all pretty standard, nothing too exciting or outrageous. Well, the coconut fried rice came served in two coconut halves. That was cute. Haha If you’re craving some Thai food, yeah, this place will do it. Looking for something surprising? Eh.
