Love Ben and Jerrys Tustin! Employees are always friendly and I like that I can taste test any flavors to make sure I’m getting something I like. This comes in handy when I’m feeling adventurous and want to try a flavor that’s not my usual. Store is always clean and organized. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

A negative review for B&J’s makes me feel kinda bad. But paying $ 6.50 for a cookie sunday with a hard cookie and ¼ cup of ice cream does too. It was kinda disappointing.

Not sure how the ice cream tastes. We got there 31 minutes before they were supposed to close and they were closed. To cold stone!

I was driving by The District while running some errands and, as it was only 11am and the parking nightmare had not yet begun, I decided to zip in and get some ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s. It’s never too early for ice cream! I walked up to the store at 11:15 and was surprised to find it closed. I sat down at one of the patio tables and checked my phone; sure enough the Facebook page, Unilocal page and several other websites said they open at 11. I decided to sit and wait a couple minutes. I was about to leave when a guy came rushing to the door, opened it and dashed inside. A moment later he popped out and asked if I’d been waiting for the store to open and I answered affirmatively. He apologized profusely and sincerely, explaining the worker who was suppose to open called him at the last second saying she would not be able to work so he rushed as quickly as he could to get there. Later, as an additional apology, he gave me a nice discount on my purchase. I got two scoops in a cup — Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz(coffee ice cream with espresso bean fudge chunks) and The Tonight Dough(a chocolate and caramel ice cream mix with chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter cookie dough chunks). Both were rich and delicious. Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz has a strong coffee flavor which I really like. The Tonight Dough is crammed full of big chunks of cookie dough. I like sweet so I was happy with it. I received great customer service and some great ice cream. Life is good.

While parking isn’t always easy at the District, it is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Movie, late lunch and then dessert at Ben & Jerry’s. Yum. If you can’t decide which flavor you want, ask for a sample. They even have sorbets.

Not impressed. I was really looking forward to trying something new here since i love ben and jerrys ice cream so much. But the flavors available were basically the flavors available in the stores. In fact they didnt even have my favorite… Save our swirled. I ended up getting Phish phood which is my second favorite flavor of theirs. Better off buying a pint. Its the same exact thing but significantly cheaper!

They were extraordinarily nice, place is clean, the whole environment was appetizing. The clerks are a patient, gave samples kindly etc. I spoke to a manager, on the phone before going, to make sure I have the right directions, and asked him about some new products /flavors/freebies(and he actually put something aside for me before We drove over there !) I need to tell you they actually are very kind there. They are eager to please. We wish there was more of these ice cream parlors around here, in South Orange county!

OMG yum! Is that a rating? I’d give B&J’s a 5 scoops rating if I could. If I’m going to spend $ 3.50 Kids, $ 4.50 Small, or $ 5.50 Large for a brand of ice cream available in your local grocery store’s freezer section, I want a flavor that is not available at the grocers. This venue scoops out a full variety of flavors. My coffee ice cream loving self was blessed to find they had a variation of coffee chip ice cream in «Coffee, Coffee, Buzz Buzz.» The Kids size was plenty. The ice cream was nummerz. My GF went with a classic ice cream flavor as well in «Butter Pecan» and loved her selection as well. The location is strategic in the plaza area adjacent to the AMC14( ), so we both NOTICED it on our way into the movie theater. We’d just had a wonderful sushi dinner at RA Sushi( ) and had no room for dessert or anything after that. But after the movie, well that’s a whole nother story! We sat in the plaza next to one of the outdoor fire pits and just enjoyed a wonderfully creamy yummy ice cream. So glad this is in The District and not next door to where I live or I’d be over here all the time!

For those of us aging«Age of Aquarians», Ben & Jerry’s represents nostalgia, good times in a less fettered world. They represent great quality, fun flavor combinations, and a colorful marketing manner. And the fact that they do so in an ice cream venue makes life worth living. So when I got my members-only«chunk mail» email announcing a big event(free ice cream) yesterday, I put that on my list of places to go. B&J has very few locations in So Cal, so we felt lucky to have one accessible to us, and in a very nice part of Irvine/Tustin. But I have to admit, in my innocence, I forgot that B&J had also«chunk mailed» 3 million others for a freebie. And that was just in So Cal. We parked, bounced our way to the newish store, oblivious that we might have a long wait. It was supposed to be(in my mind) a slow, midday visit when the rest of youse guys should be in your tiny cubicles, still clock watching and pretending to work. Instead, a horrendous line streamed out the door and wound snakelike through the outdoor shopping mall a good block. It was then I contemplated mugging someone who was already gleefully clutching their delicious, free, icy treat. But I did not. Not worth going to jail over, however tempting. So, we turned around, unrequited, and went home. I was going to have to lick my highly caffeinated Coffee, Coffee, Buzz Buzz Buzz scoop another day, and it would decidedly have to be paid by me. Instead, a 31 Flavors surrogate had to soothe a desperate me. Not nearly as good. That’s ok. My therapist says we will revisit this trauma once I come to grips with my deep rooted childhood fears of monsters living under my bed. Just so you know — I now keep a can of monster spray next to my pillow, and that has helped.

Super good. I didn’t know they had an actual store. Probably a bad idea to know they have one now.

The flavors I have tried here were the karamel sutra, phis phood, and Hazed and confused. The flavors were delicious. I strongly recommend the phish food and hazed and confused flavors. The staff here is very nice and the ice creams are affordable, unique, and tasty. I wish there was an option to have a single scoop size than the two scoop cup the cup because I don’t require that much ice cream to be satisfied. The only thing that bothered me is that this store smells like a big bottle of Costco milk – but this IS an ice cream shop and ice cream is dairy.

Love Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Tried their core sundae and boy it didn’t disappoint. My hubby tried the Cherry Garcia, one of my faves as well. We will definitely be back!

Craving ice cream after having dinner at SWSH, so we decided to come here. At first we said sprinkles ice cream, but wanted to give this place a try. For $ 4.50 you get a choice of two different flavors. I had the chocolate peanut butter and some caramel flavor(I don’t remember the exact names for these flavors). It was good for the first few bites, but after it was just too much. It super sweet, way too sweet for my liking. The service was great, but I regretted coming here. This definitely was a waste of calories, hehe.

I came here for their annual free cone day. The staff was very organized. There was a systematic line that moved fairly quickly, they passed out menus ahead of time so everyone knew what they wanted. You could taste some of the options before you decide too. Overall, I’ve always loved Ben & Jerry’s since they have the best variety of flavors in my opinion without being«gourmet». Nice location right next to the AMC in the Tustin District.

it’s definitely not worth the calories, but they’re right next to the theater and are open longer than Pinkberry, so I end up coming here sometimes. The customer service is a hit or miss, as well as the cleanliness of the floors…

After the movie I decided to come here. Its always time for ice cream… right? This was the first Ben and Jerrys«Scoop Shop» I have gone to in almost 20 years! Little side story first… The only other time I had been in an actual Ben and Jerrys store was back in Lake George, NY near my Uncle Johns house. I would get $ 5 a day«allowance» to spend on whatever I wanted while I was back there on vacation. I would usually go to the arcade and spend a few bucks on video games and then save a dollar or two and get some licorice from this candy store. One day, I took a back route home from the main drag and saw a Ben and Jerrys. I had some money left over from the day before and combined it with my stash I had presently and decided to buy some ice cream. It would change my life! You see, ice cream is my favorite food. Before that day, I had only heard about Ben and Jerrys but had never seen one. I stopped in that store and bought a pint of Coconut Fudge Flake or something like that. It was some coconut ice cream with chocolate chunks in it. At the time, it was the greatest damn thing I had ever had. I ate the whole pint in one sitting while in my uncles backyard swinging on the swings. I was in love. I would pool/save my money from that day forward to buy ice cream every few days on my walks back from town. Fast forward to today… I got a small size($ 4.50) which consists of 2 scoops. I got one scoop of Candy Bar Pie which has«Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Fudge Flakes, Chocolate Nougat & Sweet & Salty Pretzel Swirls» and one scoop of Coconut Seven Layer Bar which has«Coconut Ice Cream with Coconut & Fudge Flakes, Walnuts and Swirls of Graham Cracker & Butterscotch. Both flavors were fantastic! They are«Scoop Shop Exclusives» so you cannot buy those flavors in the stores :-(. Service was friendly! Ben and Jerrys is the best! They have me as a lifelong customer whether its here in a scoop shop or in the freezer section at Albertsons. I will continue to buy their products because they are just so damn tasty!

How can one NOT like Ben & Jerry’s? It’s a little pricey but a scoop of their ice cream will satiate your sweet tooth craving! Location is great, just adjacent to the movie theatre. Good customer service. Pros: My fave is their butter pecan and strawberry cheesecake. Friendly customer service. Cons: A little pricey.

The weather in SoCal has been a bit weird lately. We had a mellow Summer and then, out of nowhere, came an awful heat wave that left me craving ice cream but silly me, I kept forgetting to pick some up during my grocery store trips. We were here to watch a movie and get some dinner and I decided to partake in my ice cream craving. I usually get the coffee buzz buzz buzz but decided to let my sweet tooth roam and try other flavors and eventually settled on the Late Night Snack which is a mix of vanilla ice cream, with a salty caramel swirl and fudge-covered potato chip clusters. The potato chip clusters were the selling point here and my small order turned into two big scoops and if I had known that I would have added the coffee buzz buzz as well but oh well. While the Late Night Snack is good. It’s only good in a very small portion. The potato chip clusters start to lose their luster and crunch as the ice cream sits in a bath of vanilla caramel goodness. So you either have to eat it fast(brain freeze, ouch!) or get a small portion which I thought I was but alas they proved me wrong. Overall, still a good place to go.

I enjoy B&J flavors. I like their creativity and mix of great flavors. However, as a shop, I have to say that it’s more than just taste. The atmosphere, the vibe, the customer service and friendliness are all important to me. So, no matter how big or how small I believe that customer care and satisfaction should be a priority. Unfortunately, at this location, though small, I feel neglects the aspect of customer service. There is always just 1 employee. Having 1 employee at a time can lead to inefficiency, tiredness, and boredom. As a customer, I would like to be greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome. Since there’s only 1 employee, he/she is not always available to make each customer feel welcomed. I will continue to come here for their ice cream, but I do wish that it was more friendly. I don’t have any desire to spend anytime to «hang out» in the shop.
