I went in yesterday (10.10.15) and I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted.
I wanted lowlights since I wanted to slowly go lighter… instead she did a «balayage» or whatever it’s called and dyed my entire hair and left my hair ORANGE!!! With red and very few blonde strands!!!
I have had my hair from dark to really blonde with little damage done and she claimed that I couldn’t go any lighter!
She was under the impression I wanted my roots to show??? I never mentioned anything about wanting my roots to show and my roots are completely showing.
I won’t ever go back.
They once had really amazing hair stylist
$ 135 down the drain. I have gone to hole in the wall salons in the past and even they did a better job. My hair has never been orange.

First time at this salon, and I loved it. Alexis is an amazing hairstylist and I really liked how she treated my hair. Definitely coming back here.

Kate Berry is the BEST and the salon is easy to get to. Easy on and easy off the 55 Fwy.
The salon is clean, friendly and yes, they even have Wi-​Fi. I love the way Kate does my color and cut and I don’t mind traveling the 20 minutes from Mission Viejo to get there. She’s worth every minute.
Dont hesitate to call Kate and schedule your appointment. She won’t disappoint you.

If you want a spray tan you must see Maddy! She airbrushed it on me and I’m glowing! It lasted about a week and half, and I didn’t have any signs of orange! Loved it.

Make sure you don’t go to anyone else for color. She is amazing! She has over 12 years experience as a professional. She is also a wizard in hair-​dos. Just an overall friendly professional hairdresser. You will NOT be disappointed. :)

Chelsea is awesome! I’ve found that a lot of stylists just use clippers on men but Chelsea takes the time to cut everything by hand. She only uses clippers if you want it shorter than what she can do with scissors. The result is flawless!

Tami did a wonderful job on my extensions. I was asking for a lot in the way I wanted them done and she nailed it! The salon is very comfortable inside and the other stylists are friendly. Parking is nice and in LA that can be an issue.

I’m so happy I found this salon. It’s not what you would expect in a small strip mall. Tami is amazing with cut and color and I’ve been extreme happy each time I’ve left the salon. I recommend her to all my friends.

On Saturday April 19, 2014 I had my first experience at this salon and for many reasons I will definitely go back. Hair pro Tami Fleming did a color makeover on my hair and the results were incredible. Not only did she do a perfect job, but she was fast, effective, educating, & very kind. My beginning concerns was how the health of my hair would look after getting it colored with highlights & lowlights. The outcome was amazing. I love how she took the time & care to teach me how to maintain the health with use of the right shampoo & conditioner and then how to blow out my hair correctly to make it look full & healthy. Even though Tami is a good friend of mine, it still takes a lot to impress me especially when I get my hair done. I highly recommend her services & I will definitely have her color my hair & more in the future. Jesse Daniels salon as a whole was perfect. It was very clean, spacious, comfortable & the whole staff was very kind. Thank you.

I recently came in for an appointment with the esthetician Gigi and it was fabulous. The appointment went great, better than I could have imagined. First of all, Gigi is so incredibly nice and best of all patient! I asked her about a zillion questions and she happily answered all of them in great detail… and she completely and sincerely understood all of my concerns. What I love the most is her attentiveness to hygiene and that’s how I could tell she was very professional. She eased all of my concerns and I’m SO glad I came in to see her. I will be sure to return and have her address all of my Skincare needs.

I recently had eyelash extensions done by Corinne at Jesse Daniel Salon and was so impressed! I’ve never had them before and she was very informative of what to expect. They look amazing and I can’t wait to go back and have her fill them!

I see Graciela for massages every other week. she is amazing! I’ve never been a fan of getting massages, but she completely changed my mind. she is an amazing massage therapist and she is just an incredible person. love her!

I absolutely LOVE Jesse Brown !!! She is fast, does a fantastic job at color and cuts! She has done highlights/​lowlights on my hair and I am now all blonde and it looks great. She also did my hair for my wedding last year and I LOVE it. I always have a great experience !

On 3−20−13 I called Lori asking if I could get a haircut and single color later that morning. She was very accommodating to my schedule and fit me right in. This was the first time I ever met Lori; so I was excited to see how my hair would turn out. Well after spending her time listening to my wants she turned out the hair style and color that I was asking for. I felt very relaxed and never once rushed with Lori. She is a sweetheart. Thank you Lori. Ill be back!

Just got a cut and color with Lori, after finding her through Groupon. She did a fantastic job on my hair and I felt great when I left. And… NOBODY ever gets the color off my forehead when I get my hair done and she did! So awesome!

I’m so happy I found Lori through groupon! My first haircut w/​her was a wonderful experience. She took the time to listen to what I asked for and then would take short breaks between cuts to ask for feedback. Definitely pleased and definitely going back!

Sorry but I really don’t like how my hair came out. I was put with Kate, on a Saturday morning.
I asked to clean up the split ends. I’d still like to keep the length, but have lots of layers and side sweeping bang… she seems to have hit these requests… BUT it just wasn’t done well. The layers are choppy and chunky. My layers aren’t smooth and don’t flow together. She didn’t use a razor to blend but who am I to say if that’s needed? But that’s what I’m use to seeing, or at least some blending with the scissors (idk what you call it but when they angle down and cut… haha horrible w/​the description, sorry…) Bottom line it didn’t seem like she took the time to blend the layers, and it shows.
And when it came to styling… It looked horrible. She had to use a curling iron to shape it… which I thought was odd. And even with that, it didn’t really look right. I ended up shaking it out and restyling the best I could when I got home.
Just to note, I have fairly thick, straight, long hair. It’s never been permed or colored. I’d consider my hair easy to manage and I don’t think I was asking for too much.
I tried to give my hair a few days, and myself a few days to settle… and I still don’t like it. Sorry but no go… can’t say much for other stylists and the facilities themselves look clean and nice… but if you get put with Kate, I’d suggest requesting someone else.

I also saw Lori for a mani-​pedi that I bought a Groupon or Living Social deal for. Yes, her hands are a little shaky but she is still able to do a good job. I actually had her do a gel since I have never tried gel and they came out really nice. She also did an excellent job of removing my foot calluses.
Geez people, everybody has to make a living and Lori does a great job. I hate to read negatives about her hands shaking because we all have challenges in life. Not everybody is perfect but she can still get the job done.

Manicure & Pedicure review
The chair: wheeled computer chair
The foot tub: plug in portable and covered in a plastic bag.
The cute salon actually really big with nice seating areas at the front; the nail area is a small desk in the back corner.
I called to ask about it and was told it was 1 ½ manicure and pedicure (not just painting) and made an appointment 2 months in advance. I was about 20 min late (stuck at work since my coworker was out sick) and called them to let them know. I would have asked to switch days or times but then I would have lost the money I had already paid for it. When I got there I had to wait another 15 min. Then the lady lectured me about traffic and leaving early (this is after explaining my sick coworker and apologizing). She said she only had time (1hr) to do either hands or feet which I can understand so I asked for feet. She spent a little over ten minutes cutting and filing my toe nails and about five painting them.
My nails were cut uneven. There was paint on only part of the nails. (also paint on my toes). The unstable chair probably didn’t help. She doesn’t scrub/​remove callouses/​massage like most places. I asked her to please file the sharp corners and somehow she made my nails sharper.
Her next appointment wasn’t due for another 40 min or 25 (she kept changing the time) at this point and she asked if I wanted to file my nails and she’d paint them quickly. I said ok and started filing my nails. She just kept saying «done yet» over and over and then started lecturing me about other people and how everyone was always late. So I said never mind, I’ll just go home and paint them This is when she just got up and left without even looking at me.
This is the worst pedicure, if you can even call it that, that I have ever had. The only good thing was I found a place that sells B&B products. I had considered coming to get my haircut here, but now I just get frustrated when I think about this place.

I have been dying to try the Shellac by CND since it lasts for two weeks and isn’t harsh on the nails to remove. I looked up local salons on the Shellac website and called a few. I booked an appointment with Lori at Jesse Daniel Salon after she told me she was amazing at doing French manicures with the Shellac
The entry of the salon is nice and they sell Bumble and Bumble products. No one was overly eager to help me when I walked in the door. So, I stood there awkwardly for a few minutes.
Lori walked me back to the manicure stations. As soon as she started working, I knew this wasn’t going to be all I had hoped…
She was shaking, pretty badly. Not only her hands but her whole body. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that she might have been nervous (although she told me several times that she has been doing nails forever) However, it did not get any better.
She went through the motions of a manicure, but showed not skill at using the tools. She hardly clipped any of my cuticles and my nails were not even filed. She did not even use lotion on my hands/​arms!
Then, she started the Shellac process. She painted on a layer much to thick and opaque for a French manicure. I bit my tongue to see where she was going with this… after her second coat at a disastrous attempt at a white tip for French I told here this is not what I wanted. I asked her to take it off.
The next ten minutes were pretty tense. But, I did not loose my cool as I typically do in these situations. She said, «Well, I wont charge you the full $ 45, I will just charge you $ 20 for the manicure». I politely said, «I will not pay for services that were not rendered». I gave her $ 5 and walked away.
The Shellac does come off very easily TOTAL PLUS! Looks like I just need to find the right person to do it.
BOTTOM LINE: Horrible manicure. Over promised, under delivered.
