Instructor Amy Hite holds a Masters Degree in Classical Guitar Performance and has ten years of teaching experience. Lessons are tailored to the interests and ability of the student. Lessons are offered for all ages, from six to adult, and all ability levels, from beginner to advanced.

Students will learn music theory and proper technique while having fun learning a wide variety of songs, including classical, rock, country, and pop music.

Lessons take place at Chrissie’s Vocal Studio in Tustin, CA.

Annual recitals are provided at no additional change.

Business Owner

Amy is a classical guitarist teaching in Tustin, CA. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from California State University, Fullerton, where she studied under David Grimes. She has been performing and teaching guitar lessons since 2005.

Along with providing classical guitar music for hundreds of weddings and private events, Amy has performed full concerts as a soloist and with various chamber groups at local universities and music societies. She was a member of the Fullerton Guitar Orchestra from 2006 — 2010, during which they performed throughout California and on a three-​week tour of Bulgaria, which culminated with a concert at the US Embassy in Sofia. Amy is a founding committee member and current performer of the Orange County Guitar Orchestra, a group of 20+ classical guitarists. She has studied the Alexander Technique and has completed the Body Mapping for Musicians course.
