I’ve been using GMR since January 2012. While not a heavy user, I’ve had several dozen transcripts from them at this point, usually interviews I do for work, but also meetings transcripts. Some of the material I send them is pretty esoteric — in-​depth conversations about technology, medicine, etc. I’m consistently impressed. They’re thorough, accurate, correctly transcribe words I wouldn’t expect anyone to know. They’ve handled voices with accents with no problem, and when there has been an occasional question or concern on my part, the customer service is great — real people answer my emails, and quickly. I did try another service at one point a year or two back — decent, but not as good. GMR does great work at a fair price, and I’ll be using their services for as long as I need transcriptions.

Really love the customer service that GMR provides. It is fast, consistent, patient, and friendly every time. I got help navigating to the site and file format help shortly after an email question I submitted. Wish more companies did their customer service like this. The transcription was done exactly on time and was quite well done with the exception of a few inaudible words towards the end when a speaker with a thick accent spoke. Will continue to use their services happily!

I have used GMR a few times, and in general I am happy with their services. The work is ready when they say it would be, and the customer service is excellent. I always get responses to my questions in a timely fashion. If there is one thing that is not perfect, it’s the quality of the transcription. There are more «(inaudible)» comments than I think should be, and not every transcriber is as good. Some of them could be better. Four and a half stars, but five stars for customer service.

I was looking for transcription services provider that could transcribe my college lecture recordings. I needed my lecture recordings transcribed promptly and a friend recommended me to GMR. My professor has a very heavy accent and I thought it would be difficult for them to transcribe it for me. Nevertheless, I am so grateful for GMR Transcription Services as they were able to provide me with amazingly accurate transcriptions, they were done quickly, and their customer service is top-​notch! What more could I ask for?!
