Dentistry For Kidds

As a pediatric anesthesiologist at CHOC, I have been fortunate to work with many talented pediatric dentists who provide compassionate care. I consider Dr. Le among the best of the best. I have entrusted her and her team — Hi, Uncle Rico! — with the dental care for my own children.
Because of their pleasant experiences at Dr. Le’s office, my children have loved visits to the dentist since they were each a year old.
Whomever you choose for your child’s dental care, make sure your children are seen by a «pediatric dentist».

We have been going to dentistry for Kidds for 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier with their office.
Waiting area– Super clean, has TVs mounted to walls with a kid movie on at all times. Also has gaming systems and a bunch of toys.
Dentist area– Wow! You have no idea how kid friendly it is. The walls are painted with an Oceanic theme and there TVs mounted on the walls for the kids to watch a movie as they get their teeth cleaned!
Staff– EVERYONE is great. They genuinely enjoy their jobs because it reflects in how they treat their patients! My kids love the dental assistants, especially Uncle Rico. He is a lovable bear, no joke. He tells the kids to call him Uncle Rico and he talks to the kids, gets to know them, laughs with them and uses opportunities to teach them about dental hygiene and even about life! He told my kids that they should always be nice with one another bc they’re siblings and family is important. He is just, hands down, so great with the kids. Also Dr. Le, our dentist, who is sweet, knowledgeable and efficient. I have much respect for Dr. Le and the environment she has created to serve her patients.

My family and I love seeing Dr. Le and the staff. We have been patients of hers for more then 10 years now. She is highly skilled, respected, trusted, and a true professional. My parents used to drive my siblings and I to the office when we were younger. Now, I assume that responsibility taking my younger siblings. The office is always immaculate and child friendly. They have flat panel TVs everywhere, playing kids movies and video games in the waiting room. The staff is always warm, helpful, patient, and professional. Growing up we all had a fear of the dentist, but due to the staff and fun loving environment our fears went out the window. We absolutely love it here. Unfortunately we moved some years ago but are more than happy to drive 30 miles to see her. We couldn’t be happier with them. You should definitely give her a try.

Amazing staff Dr. Lee is very patient with my son and my son loves coming here to visit uncle Rico. He usually hates the dentist until we began to come here.

We like Dr. Le very much and so does our son. All good experiences for sure. The one area that I would like to see improved on the administration side is a way to either fax or email in the payment information when using a flexible benefit card. They have a telephone number but no website with additional contact information. That would be a very nice addition to their services.

Dr. Le is simply the best pediatric dentist in the Orange County area. She is an amazing, caring, thorough and sensitive dentist who is incredible with kids. She explains everything up front and afterwards in depth, and genuinely cares about her patients.
The office is clean, spacious and kid friendly. There are personal TVs to entertain and distract the kids during the cleaning/​procedure and she’s patient with the challenging kids. All of the staff is just as welcoming and excellent at what they do.

We have been coming to Dentistry for Kidds since our kids were four and two years old, they are now 14 and 11. Before coming here our son had a lot of dental problems and Dr. Le has been a miracle worker! His teeth are now beautiful and healthy and the kids always look forward to coming here. We’ve referred a lot of friends here and everyone is super happy. It will be a sad day when the kids move on to the adult dentist. They have Tv’s with movies for the kids to watch while they are getting work done, and are super patient with them if they need it. They even have stickers and a little prize cabinet for when they are done. Uncle Rico is amazing with them and always helps get the job done. Would definitely recommend coming here if your trying to find a place to go. We have nothing but great things to say about all the staff, we’ve never had a problem with billing or anything else, and we Couldn’t be happier!

Dr. Le and her staff are amazing! Especially «uncle rico,» he’s awesome with the kids. My nieces like it here. One of my nieces recently had a procedure done and prior to and the day of they thoroughly explained everything! When we got there She was a little nervous but once we got there everybody made her feel welcomed and comfortable. During the procedure I was able to be in the room with her and saw how professional Dr. Le and «uncle Rico» were. They were throughly explaining everything as they went which made me feel comfortable. What I really liked most is that later on that day they called to check in on my niece, And made sure to emphasize that if we had any questions at all to please call them. The fact that they make themselves available to their clients is so great! Dr. Le and her staff are highly recommended!

Dr. Le and her staff are great! Always in and out in a timely manner. Very caring and positive staff. My kids look forward and get excited about going to the dentist. Would definitely recommend to friends. Easy location and parking too!

My son had a very traumatic experience with his first dentist when he was only 3 yrs old. My dentist recommended Dr Le to us. My son is now 14 yrs old and we never had any problems with Dr Le. The staff are great and «Uncle Rico» is always happy to talk to the parents and the kids and he makes every dental visit a fun experience! Dr Le is very good with kids! Highly recommended!

Dr. Lee and her staff are amazing! They took the time tho squeeze my daughter in on a Saturday when we were not even patients yet. Dr. Lee and her staff are compassionate and knowledgeable! My daughter loved her visit today! Thank you Dr. Lee for taking the time to make a difference!

I have been taking both my kids here for the last four years. Both my kids love it here. My kids hated going to the dentist, and now they don’t mind it. They always look forward to seeing «Uncle Ricco»! He makes them comfortable to be there and he is good at taking their mind off of why they are there. They also have movies playing in the waiting room, and in front of the Dentist chair. I would definitely recommend them to my friends, family, and to Unilocal users!

Dr. Le and her staff were really good with my one and a half year old son who came in for his first teeth cleaning. My son had some stains on his teeth that I just could not get off with brushing myself. Everyone was friendly and gentle with him… and I have to say very fast and efficient in doing a thorough cleaning for his 16 teeth and getting all the stains out. Not easy to do on a wiggly, fussing 1 and ½ year old, so I was glad the staff was in and out! They also showed me some tricks on how to keep my child «steady» so I can get to brushing and flossing without having to go through a huge production every night. Plus he got a pretty fun toy from the office as a reward so in the end he thought the visit was all worth it. :)

I took my five year old daughter in this morning at 7:30 for some major dental work after we discovered she had a molar problem during her general cleaning visit a month ago. The staff experience was easy going but what got me was how they handled the extra bill that was never mentioned till the very end.
Apparently when Dr Le tells you that it is not unusual to find other tooth problem during the actual work as xray doesn’t show everything… do not assume she will go over with you whatever extra dental work she deems necessary and the extra bill that comes with it. When she asks if you have any questions or concerns after she makes that statement, that is her way of asking your permission.
This was the case with me when I said I have no further question. Not till the very end as I was walking toward the car did the front desk girl called me back in informing that I haven’t completed all paperwork. Back inside was when I told I had to pay an additional $ 762.00 fee for the extra dental work Dr Le’s performed. And if i can’t afford it, i had to apply for their care credit plan which essentially is a loan. All this was discussed in front of other parents who were waiting to check in their little ones.
And here’s the kicker (for your information). My daughter was too young so she had to be sedated by breathing into a gas mask. This involves me paying $ 350 fee to a third party anesthesia service company by the name MobiSurge who’s main office is in Irvine. This fee is to be reimbursed since my insurance covers it. But what they didn’t tell me is that MobiSurge hires another third party service to do the insurance billing which costs an extra 8% of the total reimbursement. And to top it off, this service slaps you with a collection fee of their own. In other words, MobiSurge hires a collection agency to do the billing of the insurance and you get charged you for it. Long story short my $ 350 reimbursement after $ 50 deductible, 8% fee, collection fee came out to $ 156. I am lost for words of the tactic they use to nit pick your pockets.
