I’ve been coming to this location off and on for many years. This was the first time I got sick from a dirty burger. I came through the drive thru at around 7:15pm and ordered a Big Carl combo. 20 minutes after consuming said burger, I did not feel right. The burger seemed a bit off. I went to bed an hour later. When I awoke in the morning, I had Montezuma’s Revenge, big time that lasted most of the day. A word to the wise, be careful what you order, or after reading various reviews, avoid this place like the plague and go to another place instead, unless you want a dirty burger.

Fast food is fast food so they get 3 stars. I got the two famous star combo. I got a 10% discount with my ID. My meal was hot and fresh. The thing I didn’t like was the amount of ketchup they put on the burger. My eyes are still watering from the stench of a homeless lady who ordered before me. She made a mess at the drink station. They should have made her take her food elsewhere to eat.

9-15-2015,Night manager Olga, yes I read her name tag! Just the worst person to deal with. Not only can’t u understand her but she’s so RUDE! Doesn’t understand English, got my order wrong, i asked for extra condiments, & got the stink eye, we all know what that is. Don’t know what’s worse, Jack n the Box with their Yambo Yacks, or Carls!!! But i think this chick Olga takes the Cake! Stay away from Carl’s unless u wanna challenge her Attitude!!!

The food was hot fast and cheap. Not sure what else to expect from a Carl’s Jr. Store was clean and cashier was quick. I will go back here in the future. I had the western bacon cheeseburger, it had the right amount of sauce. I wish it had more bacon but I tried the other one with double bacon and I don’t know, seemed like too much.

Management team and communication is poor. I ordered one shake to my order with a very nice cashier, and when it came out wrong the first associate apologised, and it was okay, after waiting for a change I decided it was better to take what they had made me when my had food came out and leave. The situation went to two stars when the manager insisted on remaking my shake and having me wait when I specifically insisted I was in a rush needing to go, and would take what they had. The two cashiers could clearly see my instant disproval but did nothing. I would love to know what gets them promoted from red to black shirt, because this guy had no clue about customer service.

Don’t know if it’s a management problem or what, but this is the worst Carl’s Jr. I’ve been to time and time again. Their employees have the worst demeanor and attitudes, and half the time, they get my order wrong. I really enjoy Carl’s Jr., and my family knew the Karchers, the family that started business. Love the company. But I’m consistently frustrated and disappointed by the service at this location.

A tale of 2 Carl’s. It’s 5:45pm and we roll into Carl’s Jr. on Newport Ave in Tustin. There is one guy working the drive-thru & no one working the counter. 3 people in the back but only one working. 4 people waiting for service, one of them trying to pick up a waiting to-go order. The drive thru guy finally comes to the counter to take the next customer order and in the middle, walks away to take care of a drive thru order. Get the picture? We were not that customer; we were the next customer. After around 10 minutes of this circus, we we placed part of our order. I paid my portion but again, he walked away. The persons I was with proceeded to walk out and I requested my money back. The drive thru guy was SHOCKED that I would ask for such a thing. That took another 5 minutes. I assume he got the cash register key from the«Manager» in the back. We drove 1.9 miles to the other Carl’s Jr. In Tustin. Service was fine with real employees and good food. Did I mention that I like Carl’s Jr food? I do but I’m not wiling to tolerate poor service and bad attitude.

I’m really try to be positive here. Always try clearly say my Order. A Famous Star with tomatoes and a slice of onion, no pickles with Classic sauce, That’s the original pink sauce. For the past 15+ orders and today at 5:15 pm on 5−14−14. I’m disabled with Fibromyalgia/ME a chronic painful muscle disease which leaves a person weak, in pain and subject to cancer.(with a whole lot more problems than a body can handle). Of course I get home and the order is always wrong. Today. I asked someone to triple check the order. Then a girl said, «Here you go». I asked her to read the order back to me. «So is this correct?», I said. She said, «I assume so» I said«never assume anything, especially the order you give someone». She glared at me peaked in and said, «Yep, its right». I said, «You’re sure about that?» She said she promised. So I get home, there are pickles everywhere, a very small half slice of tomato and some type of horrible white sause. Obviously not the pink Classic Sauce.(It used to automatically come with classic sauce). Every time you try to call them, they never answer their phone-ever. Even if you take the time to walk in and carefully look them in the face and slowly pronounce what you want, they never get it right. I’m in my forties and some idiot at the counter asked me if I wanted the senior discount once! I said, hell, maybe in 45 years kid. This is the very worst Carl’s jr. in the area. If you enjoy making a huge effort and going there only to have them get your order wrong then fine, Suffer, All they have to do is press a picture of the food. Also, they don’t know how to give change back, let alone the correct amount so if you use your debit card, check it carefully. The chain/owners whoever owns the place should be be ashamed to call it their eatery Often the onion rings are hard and old and you can see them sitting under hot lights for I don’t know how long and by now Its sort of become a challenge to see if they get everything right. At least when Sharon was there she’d try to make them pick up the phone. Sharon where are you? The business is put to shame. Am I making a fuss about a burger? When you’re disabled and have to walk upstairs to get to you’re home and get out a large tray and sit down on the couch to watch your TV show or something? Not really because not everybody on this city has money to waste and you can’t buy you’re health! I’m willing to overlook no napkins.

Trolls? Drive through experience. Jalapeño six-dollar burger, large sweet potato fries(there was a few of us), famous star, and a drink. At least that’s what I supposedly ordered and what the screen said. Even though the dine-in section of the location appeared empty, it took roughly 5 minutes to take our order. After taking our order, we waited another 10 minutes to receive our food. Not yet upset. Shortly after getting on the freeway, we opened our bags and discovered that the Jalapeño six-dollar burger was composed of just a patty, veggies, and a slice of cheese. Thanks for saving me the calories, I guess.

Clean, nice employees, and the drive through is pretty accurate. Out of 75 time, they messed up only once. I like this Carl’s Jr. for low carb hams and salads. When the order was messed up, I went back and they refunded my complete order. I picked up two salads and a chicken strip 5 pcs for lunch. I drove to my wife’s work to have lunch with her and they forgot the Sauce and Dressings. Basically, we did not have lunch together and when I went back, they were super nice. And think about that, one mistake out of at lease 75 drive through’s(I work nearby), that’s awesome compared to most other fast food joints. PS, I asked if the sauce was in the bag before I drove off.

Carl’s Junior’s Famous Star. Do I need to say more? It’s my favorite and it’s about the only hamburger I crave. Now, if I could get it with an order of In N Out fries and a Slurpee, I’d be in fast food heaven.

OK, so today I was going to try Cream Pan for the first time… So I made the drive all the way from Anaheim near the 91fwy & Tustin Exit to Cream Pan. I get there and WTF ?! It’s closed until 7⁄17 for some reason, sign just says closed from 6⁄30 — 7⁄17. Oh well, I’ll just have to wait again to try this place. So where do I end up? The closest Carl’s Jr. near by because I’ve been meaning to try the new Prime Rib Burger. I am the type of person who usually tries something new if it looks good and hey, I like prime rib and I like burgers so a Prime Rib burger looked pretty damn good. Actually it wasn’t that great. They offer a single, double or six-dollar variety of the burger. I guess the meat is better on the six-dollar version but I chose the double with no cheese. It might have been better with cheese, but I think they used swiss cheese an d I’m not really a fan of swiss. Anyway, Carl’s Jr. is the same pretty much everywhere I go, same look, same taste and I’m a fan of Carl’s so 4 stars. I usually order a double western so next time, I’ll stick with my regular. Damn you Cream Pan for not being open… oh well.
