There are so many people in the lines, because just 4 of 15 registries are open, and it seems they dont care! Very disappointed!

Our go to place for groceries. Wide variety of veggies… groceries and meat. Best prices in orange county. Highly recommend for indian stuff and halal meat.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It’s a hit or miss. There is plenty of parking.
Walking in the place is huge and usually there’s a distinct smell. I do like that the prices for buying seeds and nuts is low compared to buying the packaged product. They have a large selection.
I love trying new things for around the world and here I have the opportunity to do just that.
They have a large selection of different products from different countries like India, Mexico, and Asia which is great. But, half of the giant store is empty space and cheap items you finds at a non chain dollar stores full of off brand products. The restaurant towards the back does not seem appetizing to me at all.

Ànsar Gallery in Tustin I used to shop at this store, but I got tiered of been over charged.
This place has all of their sale prices clearly posted, it makes you wanted buy even more when you don’t even need it.
Because its on sale, but I go home check my receipt, just to find out their sale prices
do not reflect the cash register & I end up paying regular price. After this happens to me at least 5 – 6 times or more, I am done shopping
at Ansar. and at least twice on the way out of the door customers have told me to check my receipt because they overcharge.
evert time they go home they are overcharged on at least one item. Also they are more items without price s then priced. especially in their bakery department
it gives you the date of expire but no price. on two occasions the item I assumed was in a range of couple of dollar’s it turned out to be 7.99 & 8.99 &
it was nasty even the dog won’t eat it. I give less then one star.

This company is sad. The «owner» of the place doesn’t even know how to give out his employee he decided to let go of because of disrespectful customers throwing shit at his employees and what not making my husband do the run around because he doesn’t know how to write out a last check yet has the person that supposedly does the checks call out or never be there. This place is ridiculous.

I had to update my review to reflect my most recent shopping experiences.
The past few times I’ve bought chicken here I’ve had to throw away some if not all of it away once I got home. This last time was actually really bad and I had to throw all of the chicken out. I was given meat that was badly bruised and discolored — one chicken leg quarter was broken (like, the leg was actually cracked) which was disturbing to me.
Their beef is still reliable but I can’t buy chicken from them any longer.

Best price everyweek sale in fruits (bananas, orange and apple). There have various to buy bread. Beatiful cashier with smile. Nice service. Be best.

Variety and Specials are really good, multi cultural groceries, this Store has almost every thing, let’s say from A to Z, if they don’t have it, ask and they will try to get it for you, I asked for Yucca flour to make cheese bread, (Cuñape from a Bolivian recipe) and they got it. Great customer service.

Service is so horrible. and lot of employees are rude. Lot of heads and passing their job and responsibilities to each other. Never get what you want. Never ever come on weekend.

The Good — produce, meats, bulk foods and ethnic groceries. The selection is great, meats and produce are good quality and there is a nice variety. I can find everything from fresh turmeric, to thin cut milanesa beef to chaat masaala to bulk toasted sesame seeds. Their butchers are generally helpful, they have a very nice bakery and we’ll stocked deli.
The Bad — many a time I have asked for help finding a product, but the staff are unhelpful and unknowledgeable about their inventory. They are usually also unable to find someone who can help. They almost never have enough check out lines open. They move products around in the store and will not label prices… today, the entire isle of noodles was unmarked so I had to take my Ramen up to the counter to get a price check. THIS STORE IS IN DIRE NEED OF WELL TRAINED EMPLOYEES.
The Ugly — OMG, the cheap swap meat quality clothes and home goods are cringe worthy. It is a complete and utter abomination to be subjected to cheap knock off handbags and shoes and just disturbs me greatly. it’s like the needed to fill space and decided that moderately priced rubbish was a good strategy.

I used to shop here on occasion when they had good meat deals and to pick up specialty items and in shell pecans for my parrot, and occasional produce that doesn’t look ready for the compost pile. I realize that when one visits this place, it should viewed upon as an adventure.
As of yesterday, I realized that I am no longer up for it for this store is a huge 3^rd world hellhole. People who cannot drive cars, driving carts, some being highly aromatic, leaving carts in weird places, a rude bulk attendant, and unhappy employees, except for the butchers. I wonder why.
The piece de resistance was that they just rolled out a store loyalty card. The sad buy polite checker gave me one and told me to have it activated in «Customer Service». There was a line with one guy in front of a computer activating cards, which seemed to be a long process. Finally, he was joined by a young woman who started helping customers. She helped the man in front of me, and seeing the card in my hand, she asked to help me. I told her that I wanted my card activated, to which she replied there’s a line. I said yes I know, I was in it. She ignored me and in the meantime, the couple behind me was being helped. In the meantime, she hovers over the shoulder of the guy on the computer.
From there, I said to hell with this store and threw my card in the floor. Now mind you, I have long outgrown that kind of thing, but cannot tolerate bad service, and won’t be back, however good a few of their prices are. Oh, and by the way, I ventured through the rest once and it is a bunch of cheap crap.

It’s a grocery store close to work. I find that I pick up my usuals and never get tired of them. One is the mango lassi. Its an Indian yogurt drink which I learned we should consume after eating to help digestion. Makes sense. But at home that jug does not last a week! So yum! And then there’s the spinach and paneer samosas — comes in a huge frozen baggy. If I’m running behind schedule in the wee morning hours it’s so easy to throw 5 – 7 in a ziplock and head out for morning traffic journey. My utmost fave is they have veggies that they want to sell fast. So I get bag fulls of zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, egg plants each huge bag for 99cents. Then again maybe having the same meal for a few days but they’re just veggies; sautee and switch up the spice — you’re good!

Don’t buy meat here! I purchased chicken here and found a full size maggot in the meat! The meat would have to be above temperature to have a maggot that big inside of it! I even reported it and they never even responded! Horrible. They don’t even care!

I have mixed feelings. Their produce is inexpensive, but usually of mediocre quality. I like the variety of ethnic products. It feels like a bazaar atmosphere, with the range of goods including apparel, food, jewelry, hookahs, housewares, electronics and more. The fresh, warm, Persian bread (Sangak) is good, as is their baked goods and dessert assortment. Cash ring ups are slow.
The bulk foods section has a lot of items, including dried nuts, fruits, candy, etc. Today I bought some dried strawberries and pistachios.
I’m not sure why they feel they need a security guard. As another reviewer said, it feels intimidating to be sized up when you walk in and leave.
Net, net, I will only continue to shop here occasionally and mostly for convenience. It’s close to home.
P. S. I preferred the store when it was Aria. Aria had a really good selection of kosher products (frozen, meats, etc.), which are gone now.

Beware of there cooked food

I went there yesterday evening (was referred to this place by my customer in Irvine, where we work it.)
I ordered four combo plate of chicken and beef
Me and my guys couldn’t eat what ever the cooked for us
I puked
I’m originally from the middle east and very familiar with this type of food
I eat at wholesome choice or Caspian all the time.
And I promise you that I’m not spoiled.
But that was disgusting, not fresh, bad meat.
Never again
If you respect your body & your health.

Aria… To Ansar… What’s next? This market is always changing, switching up the interior here and there and it’s just like a wholesome choice! I used to come here every week to buy veggies for my rabbit (he passed away, rip Marley) and the prices for veggies BEATS any other place. And luckily, I live down the street here. I’ve only familiarized myself with their produce and bakery section.
One of these days I’ll try their little food court, I recently saw a special for kabob koubideh for $ 5, hope that special stays long so I can find some time to finally have it. I don’t really recall a bad experience here, parking isn’t bad, even when busy. The staff are helpful, I’ve seen some weird encounters of the staff and other customers but eh, nothing with me.
I found lychees here the other day for $ 1.50 a lb, neeeeeat! Green string beans here aren’t bad either for the price!

My husband and I decided to try shopping at this store because the stores in Irvine are usually rather expensive, and my mother in law mentioned the bargains at this particular store. We did however notice that a lot of the produce here is imported, and that the grapes always looked bad, and that one our 3^rd occasion we were unable to purchase cucumbers due to their poor quality as well. We purchased a new brand of pickles from this store, they were imported from Vietnam, the taste was horrible.
My husband and I have only shopped here 4 times now, on our third occasion our coconuts had become rotten within 4 days of purchasing. I proceeded to call the store for several days before I was able to finally have my phone call answered. I spoke to a manager on duty who had apologized and agreed to allow my husband and I to receive two new coconuts free of charge to compensate for the two rotten one’s.
When my husband and I went into the store the next day, the manager on duty, a different manager, decided to act as if he would honor the other manager’s approval, however this was not the case. This new manager proceeded to escort my husband and I to the front desk, he then left us with a clerk at the counter who proceeded to call produce, as she was doing this she began telling us that she could not refund the amount for the two new coconuts we had purchased, and began to sway her head in an arrogant manner from side to side. My husband and I were furious in that they had us waiting when they could have simply said that they could not refund it. We were asked to wait in line, our checkout line was closed down as we waited for the manager, we were insulted by the clerk at the help desk.
My husband and I have decided never to set foot into this store again, they may have some very low prices, and international products that are edible, however with the poor customer service, and direct insults from uncouth tattooed clerks such as the woman, and discourteous managers attending to customers and making it seem as if we are lying to them is a further insult.
My Husband’s parents will no longer be shopping here, and I will be mentioning the service and quality of the food on my website. My father in law will be writing an article about it as well.

Although this store is somewhat far from where I live, but I love going there. My favorite section of the store is the spice section where they sell them in bulks.
The store itself is huge… I guess it used to be Sear’s store before. The employees are super nice. Their bread is very fresh.
As for the produce goes, everything is fresh and good priced. I specially like where they sell bulk veggies and fruits…
As for other section of the store (clothing) goes, I don’t really check them. So I can not talk about that in my review.;-)
But be sure if you go there, to walk through their homegoods isle… They have the cutest tea cups… I can’t wait to go there again to get more tea cups for my future parties…:-)
I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because the store itself I think needs some remodeling… The restrooms are too small and not very maintained well…
Besides that everything is great about this store.:-)

Wooooooottttttt! Hummus bar, check. Spices galore, check. Cheap Veg and fruit, check. Cheap home goods and fashions, check.
I’ve come to believe that if I just shopped at Ansar exclusively, I’d be ok without ever stepping into another market.
You might have to take your time and look around a bit, but it’s the kind of store you should get lost in for a couple of hours, checking things out. Where else was I ever gonna find an $ 11 small pet carrier and dragon fruit all at once?
There are bins upon bins to look through too, full of spices, legumes, dried fruits, and nuts. Most things are very reasonably priced. If you’re so inclined (most are) there is a pretty good sized section of Middle Eastern baked goods to browse through as well.
This is a great place to find a good deal as well as the more exotic type of food! Highly recommend!

I have driven by this store a lot over the years, but never went inside. I didn’t even know that it was a grocery /​clothing store.
The good thing about this place is that it has exotic food seasoning… which may be hard to find at your average grocery store. And the bakery has awesome treats for sale.
The bad is that the place has a low-​end vibe to it. The clothing and cookware look cheap or of poor quality and the meat departments (chicken, beef, and fish) did not look appealing… I wouldn’t buy meat here.
I highly doubt I will ever shop here for anything.
