Established in 2009.

Natalie Good, owner of A Good Affair started her career in the event planning industry working for floral designers, caterers, and private venues. After acquiring years of fabulous experience she launched A Good Affair Wedding & Event Production! With a strong background in planning all different kinds of events, Natalie and her team of planners focus on creating a wonderful experience for each of their clients. Planning a wedding or special event is wonderful but also very overwhelming. Working with A Good Affair relieves Your stress and allows you to enjoy your celebration with your guests.

With nearly a decade in the business of weddings and special events, Natalie has garnered a strong standing in the industry, great vendor relationships, and a superb track record for well-​planned, beautiful weddings and events. Inspired by working with awesome couples and helping them incorporate their personalities into a memorable wedding design is what drives Natalie to define her company, A Good Affair, from her competition.

Earning distinction as the 2010 – 2011 Planner of the Year by MPI-​OC, Natalie was also chosen to design and plan The Knot — OC Market Party and has been featured on Style Me Pretty, Grey Likes Weddings, Wedding Wire, Green Wedding Shoes, Ceremony Magazine, Wedding Compass, Brides Magazine, Wedding Channel, Project Wedding, Hostess with the Mostess, and Broke Ass Bride. Absolutely thrilled with the results of using A Good Affair Event Company. My daughters Ranch wedding was exactly what we had hoped it would be and more! I cannot recommend Anna from A Good Affair highly enough. I’m writing this on my honeymoon in Greece only 3 days after my wedding because my husband and I can’t stop talking about how wonderful the wedding was, and Anna made it all happen. Everything was gorgeous – the flowers, the bookshelf with escort cards, the tables – I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding. What I really appreciated about Anna was her professionalism – she was always quick to respond to any questions that I had, checked in with me frequently, and had everything so well-​organized that I was feeling calm and relaxed the entirety of my wedding day. Every time I saw her at my wedding, she was checking in with vendors and making sure everything was going smoothly. She also saved the day in a major way – one of the groomsmen cut himself shaving and bled on the collar of his white dress shirt less than 2 hours before the wedding was set to begin. My husband had no idea what to do, but Anna immediately took charge of the situation and coordinated with the hotel to launder the shirt before the wedding. My favorite part of this story is that I had NO idea this was going on until my husband told me what happened the next day. I would have been SO stressed had i known, but Anna just took care of it. She’s an incredible person, easy to talk to and be around, and an excellent project manager. I also have to give a shout out to Juliana, who is wonderful, professional, and so kind. Thank you both for being there for me on my big day!

We are so grateful to Erin Gershik and A Good Affair Weddings for doing such a great job with our wedding this past November in Palm Springs. As an Interior Designer they really understand the details large and small when it comes to weddings. We had a tight timeline which meant extra tight coordination needed to ensure the day went off without a hitch. Danielle Gerbracht was our day of coordinator and she was FANTASTIC. Even making sure that my wine glass was always full and my husband was never without a fresh beer. They both truly made our day so effortless and relaxed, I cannot thank them enough.

There comes a point during your wedding planning when you turn to your partner and wonder whether you should have just eloped and gone to Vegas… and that point hit for me about one month after I got engaged! I mean, we hadn’t even made ANY plans whatsoever about where and what we were going to do about the wedding, and we were already tired about the thought of making decisions.
THANK GOODNESS we were able to hire Natalie and her team for our wedding. Natalie was amazing to work with, and ever so humble about her opinions and design. I had an idea about how I wanted my wedding to feel, but not so much about the actual details of the wedding. It was definitely her planning that made our vision come to life and for everything to come together. That’s really what you’re getting when you come to Natalie.
She walked me through the entire process of the taste testing, accommodating my 10 000 requests/​needs, was patient with me when I made so many changes to ten thousand different things, and stepped in to make a decision when I was being wishy washy — I was a terrible bride and did everything last minute (insert embarrassed emoji). But thanks to Natalie, our wedding was a hit and because she’s worked with so many vendors, she’ll give you the best pricing possible!
When I walked into the reception area for the first time (we got married at Skirball in Los Angeles), I had tears in my eyes and I was literally speechless. And that’s saying a lot because I’m a woman of many words! From the flowers to the lighting to the table cloths and all the rentals, our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. A special thanks to her team on the actual wedding day because they were AH-​MAZING. The person who was assigned to be by my side the entire wedding day was phenomenal while Natalie was doing all the behind the scenes work, which I didn’t particularly see but appreciated so much because I wasn’t bothered with one thing. Natalie and her team anticipated what I needed before I even knew that I needed anything.
My husband and I enjoyed our wedding way more than I’m sure others have who didn’t have a wedding planner. We even ATE ALL 3 COURSES AT OUR WEDDING!!! WHAT?! It’s unheard of apparently! If you’re hesitating at all about spending the money on a planner, just mosey on over to A Good Affair’s Instagram account and just be ready to drop your jaws and hand over your money because you’ll be getting the most detailed, elegant, and gorgeous wedding you ever could have imagined!

Jayme was my wedding planner and she did such a fantastic job! She was so pleasant to deal with, such a positive force! She kept me calm, and parsed out the tasks in an organized way. Everyone told me planning a wedding would be stressful. I often felt like, shouldn’t I be doing more? It really was so manageable. But that’s because Jayme had it all handled. I never thought the day could live up to the hype, but it really was the best day ever. And everyone involved loved working with her because she is such a wonderful human being while still being on top of everything. We adore Jayme and will miss talking to her regularly!

My fiancé (husband now) and I came to Natalie 3 weeks before our wedding day, it was pulled up from a later planned date due to a health situation with a family member, and Natalie and her team literally made my wedding dream come true in what seemed to be a impossible timeline. I wrote my original thank you to the wedding planners, Anna & Natalie, way too soon. We continue to receive a flood of compliments from countless guests. The biggest compliment was that our guests never saw anything like this before! BINGO! I heard from an Armenian that it was refreshing to not have the typical traditional Armenian wedding. The food with the Armenian twists was new and exciting for everyone. They reinvented the wheel to everyone’s delight. I heard from so many people how much they ate.
The design of the room was exquisite. Natalie, you nailed it with the layout. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I never expected so many bouquets but it filled the room with joy. Anna ran all the details with the precision of a little Napoleon. I did not worry about anything. If there were snags, I did not see them.
I was so happy we had the expert help to create Sandra’s and my dream wedding. It was a fabulous day all around!

I am a DJ and have worked with many event planners. Most are just ok to not very good. The usually just make it look nice. This team (and I emphasize team) of people were amazing from start to finish. The made the venue look amazing and coordinated things so well all night. There was never a let down. Natalie was a joy to work with on all accounts. I knew from my first inquiry phone call to her, which lasted well over and hour, that she was just the person to plan our wedding. Natalie’s energy and her ability to connect won me over. I spoke to Natalie in August and we knew we wanted to get married the following January, February or March– so we didn’t have the luxury of a year of planning. I should also mention that I have been in the luxury hotel business for over 15 years — so I wanted to find someone who could complement my knowledge and skills, and create the event I didn’t have time to plan while working full-​time. Natalie was further «challenged» by my very skeptical groom. We met with her and I thought she might fire us, as my husband certainly didn’t make it easy on her. But in true Natalie fashion, the ball just kept rolling and she didn’t skip a beat. We were very specific about not wanting a «cookie cutter» wedding — and Natalie did not disappoint. Natalie and her amazing team were able to plan and execute the wedding of my dreams in what ended up being only 3 months after we selected the venue, Pelican Hill. Natalie suggested an outdoor wedding and dinner… in January. We ended up having the ceremony, cocktails and dinner outside and moving into the Ballroom for the Party. A true visionary, as this had not been done at Pelican in the winter before– I keep seeing more events planned in their amazing outdoor space– so Natalie is a true trendsetter. I would say that she made my vision a reality, but in fact, I trusted her so much, for the most part I was happy to let her run with her amazingly creative, classy and fun ideas. Music was a huge element for us, and Natalie connected us with some amazing talent for our wedding. All of our vendor suggestions were perfect– she has a person for everything, and they won’t let you down! Our dream was to have a wedding that was not only special to us, but also have an event that our friends and family would enjoy and remember for a lifetime. That goal was achieved on all accounts as so many people continue to tell us, that the night was «absolutely epic». And that skeptical groom from early on… he couldn’t have been happier — Natalie won him over. Thank you to Natalie and A Good Affair. I’m so happy I found you– you made my wedding, a dream come true, and as if that wasn’t enough, I found a true friend in you– you are amazing and I would highly recommend you and your team– and will forever continue to do so!

Natalie was an absolute dream to have plan our wedding. My husband and I were both still in school, and we had wanted someone to take the planning completely off our hands, and she did just that.
For reasons unrelated to A Good Affair, we had decided to postpone our planning so that we could reevaluate what we truly wanted in a wedding, so it could be the most enjoyable experience for us. Natalie was kind enough to allow us to contact her when we had figured everything out, so as we didn’t have to forfeit our deposit. This went a long way with us, it was such a relief in such a stressful time to know that she would be there for us.
When we returned later in the year, we had drastically changed our plans to a TINY (14 people including b&g) wedding in Hawaii.
Natalie embraced this and really ran with it.
Through the whole planning process, she was easy to contact, and if not Natalie herself, her girls were always fast at responding.
Our wedding was absolutely incredible. She pulled together all these vendors without going there (no taste tests… nothing) and designed an event that was so personal and intimate, it was everything we could have asked for and more.
I would not hesitate to hire Natalie and A Good Affair again for future events (ahem… baby shower? Vow renewal?). They made the wedding week (and months of planning) such a fun experience, I want to do it all over again!

We hired Kristin Fung as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding. After meeting with Kristin, we knew she was exactly what we wanted in a coordinator. She made us feel really comfortable and accommodated our every need and desires for the wedding. We knew we wanted to hire a day of coordinator to help relieve the stress and allow us to enjoy every minute of our wedding, and she did exactly that! What makes Kristin such a great coordinator is that she is capable of making adjustments on the fly and not letting anyone but herself know that something did not go exactly as planned. She is organized, efficient, and accommodating (not only to the bride/​groom but all important parties of the wedding). I highly recommend Kristin to every bride and groom! We owe so much of our beautiful wedding day to Anna at A Good Affair! We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator in all parts of the process. She went above and beyond all of the responsibilities in the contract, and you can tell she really loves what she does.
From the very first meeting we had with Anna to learn about A Good Affair’s services, to the day of our wedding, she was so on top of every little detail. Working with Anna, we were able to pick and choose options from different packages they offered and create a customized package that was within our budget.
Early on in the process, we had already planned some of the wedding ourselves but we didn’t have a very cohesive idea for the design side of our wedding. Anna took the photos we’d saved of things we like and our thoughts on what atmosphere we were going for and she created a digital design board for us. Her design board included our color palette, layout ideas, and design ideas for every aspect of our wedding from start to finish. It brought all of our ideas together with new ones into one cohesive, beautiful vision.
Anna also kept in constant contact with us so that we were never worried about any stone left unturned. I’m the type to ask a million questions about every little detail and she was able to answer them all to put my mind at ease. She was also very on top of working with our separate vendors and keeping everything organized and moving forward smoothly. Meeting with Anna was always such a positive experience because it was always productive. She is very good at prioritizing tasks, big or small, as well as guiding us toward the right choice any time we were indecisive about something.
On the day of our wedding, we felt like royalty. Everything when exactly as we’d planned, and we weren’t stressed for a single minute of the day. Anna had taken care of setting up all of our detail items exactly where we wanted. Every vendor knew exactly what the plan was for the day. Any time we needed anything throughout the night, she was no more than a few seconds away to take care of it for us. And when the night was over, she stayed to take everything down and pack it up in her car so it was safe for us to pick up from her whenever we had time.
All in all, it was an incredible day.

Being a wedding vendor myself for many years, I tend to be super picky with whom I work with. I have worked with manny planners/​coordinators and Natalie and her team is definitely one of the top/​best planner/​coordinator we highly enjoyed working with.
From the beginning of knowing our mutual bride booked with Natalie’s planning service. We were under an impression of how organized, professional and detailed-​oriented Natalie and her team is. Natalie and her team took care of every little detail to making sure everything the bride care/​need is well taking care of! She is on top of everything that as a vendor, we feel very safe, stress-​free and secured to work with her.
Natalie and her team was very prompt in responding to all our vendors emails, phone calls and text messages. She was very patient with us when it came to making some specific changes in regard to the makeup beauty schedule. We felt like we did not need to worry about anything when working with her as she is on top of everything!
Not only Natalie is a great coordinator, she is also a great designer. We have worked with her for many times and all the weddings she designed was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. There are many planners out there but if you’re looking for a planner who can do both in great design and planning. Contact Natalie! She is definitely the best to go for!

My husband and I worked with Anna as our day of coordinator and she made our big day as stress-​free as possible. During the beginning stages of planning our wedding, we were unsure about how much we would actually need a coordinator but after meeting Anna, we were certain we wanted her to be a part of our special day. I hired A Good Affair for my wedding. All I can say is that Anna was awesome. She helped me through my entire wedding planning process. She helped me with everything from the wording on my invitations or design advice for the wedding. She even made sure I had every part of the wedding covered. She also answered my endless emails and patiently help me.
Anna actually called me the morning on my wedding (01.17.15). She wanted to make sure everything was okay and if I needed anything. She even checked on me throughout the day and even during the wedding. It was fantastic!
Anna was really sweet and very personable. She always had a smile on her face and always made sure everything we okay. She was very thorough. She was the perfect compliment to my «I need everything super duper organized» personality.

Natalie and team are truly great. I interviewed a lot of planners before I decided upon A Good Affair. Natalie was so ready to take the challenge of planning my complicated wedding in under 2 months (wedding, reception, and after-​party all at the same venue but in different spaces with different décor and 200+ guests – not the simplest undertaking!). Her «can do» attitude made me instantly sure that I could rely on her.
She was so good about balancing my design and aesthetic choices with my budget and with her industry knowledge. She made everything that we wanted happen. My husband was really involved, too, and she was great at navigating the multiple opinions and priorities. Her team was professional, organized, and communicative. I honestly could not have done it without them!
The great thing about Natalie is that she is able to maintain so much professionalism without losing any warmth (which is sooo needed during the sometimes stressful planning process). She was our day-​of organizer as well, and our entire day went without a hiccup. She was able to negotiate messy family dynamics and unexpected bumps with grace and without us even knowing they had happened!
All in all, I cannot recommend Natalie and team enough. They are awesome!!!
(P.S. They are also there for you post-​wedding to help you submit to magazines and blogs, if you want them to. She got our wedding featured in a super well-​known wedding publication!)

Jennifer Chen from A Good Affair is amazing! I’d recommend single people to get married just to get a chance to work with her. I absolutely love her. I got the basic package from AGA and I pretty much only had to do the fun parts of wedding planning. It was fantastic. She took care of things that I didn’t even think of before I even asked about them. Everything especially magically got done and fell into place right before the wedding (about a month before), so unlike many brides I wasn’t stressed at all. About anything. Any problems I was having with people were often taken care of before I knew about it, and the ones I knew about she just completely took care of. She has a really good feel for people, so everyone she thought we would like, we loved instantly. A few people I found that she didn’t think we would like, we absolutely hated so she was spot on every time. Also she probably saved us ~ $ 2,000 with various vendor discounts. Our wedding was pretty small (~70 people ~45K) so the bigger your wedding the larger the discounts would be. The people she pointed us towards were also all in our price range so I could actually pick what I liked best and didn’t really have to worry too much about making sure I can afford it etc. Our wedding came out absolutely amazing and everyone was super impressed. I highly recommend Jennifer. Seriously the best money I spent out of the whole wedding.

Also, if you’re a no bs kind of person (like me) she is great at communicating /​dealing with you. Most other people we talked to were very «floofie». As soon as she met me and my fiancé (both scientists) she saw that we weren’t really feeling the «love story» approach and right away switched gears from the touchie-​feelie crap to get down to business. This is something on one else could do. She was therefore also a great interpreter between us and the more touchie-​feelie vendors.

I got married in November 2013 and decided to hire A Good Affair because of their 5 star rating in Unilocal.
Jennifer Chen was our wedding coordinator.
During our first meeting, she was very friendly, professional and answers all my questions and makes us feel comfortable.
Jennifer was on top of everything, she was always available whether via email, phonecall and a text message. She even went out of her way to do things for me. She was very professional and did a really great job with the wedding time line, communicating with my vendors and taking good care of the wedding set up and my stuff.
Jennifer was even there like a family to care and have an ear and time to listen to what was going on with the wedding.
Jennifer not even once gave me an attitude, a mean stare or whatsoever.
We love Jennifer and Anna (her assistant) and even invited them to our rehearsal dinner.
Over all, A Good Affair is something i would definitely recommend to my friends and family, and Jennifer Chen is just awesome =)
