Well,
I had a door ding that I did myself with my wifes car door. Duh! Called Craig in the morning. He showed up a couple hours later. Popped it right out and returned my car to it’s prevoius glory. While he was there, for a small charge, he popped another one out of my wifes car.
Say what you are going to do and then do it. That’s how you do business.

Dent Doc referred me to Bill from their mobile service department and he came straight to my home & completed the service. I had a tear & dent on my front bumper. Not only is it gone & done beautifully, he matched the color of my car PERFECTLY (he has a machine in his car that takes the vehicles information to get the exact color of the car). Had a Groupon for these guys. I called 3 times, they never get back to me. The lady I got on the phone (the 1^st and 3^rd call) was as friendly as a funeral representative. Finally Groupon refund me and I went somewhere else. Too bad for them, I had extra dents to fix.

I called Dent Doc right after purchasing a Groupon offer ($ 150 for $ 60). My son had bumped our car into another cars bumper, but the dent was not big enough to warrant a trip to the body shop.
Craig was prompt in his arrival and we quickly assessed the dent. There was a small up-charge because my verbal description of the dent made it out to be smaller than the actual dent size. The work was completed efficiently, and I was fully satisfied with the results.

I had to get dents repaired on two of my vehicles. One was my wife’s brand new VW Touareg on the rear hatch, in a very difficult spot to work on. I also had a large dent in the bedside of my F350 Super Duty. I didn’t want to get the truck repainted, because it’s in show quality condition, and I am very particular about things like unmatched paint. Body shop panel repair never turns out the way it’s supposed to. So, I called 1800-Dent-Doc, and went through the process of providing the pictures and damage description, etc. My location was a concern, because I live in Wrightwood, which is a 1.5 hr one-way drive from OC, but Craig was willing to work with me on that. He charged a reasonable trip charge (I was more than willing to pay because he lost 3 hrs of work while driving — I can relate to the mobile service industry, and time is money), and he came up the following Monday morning (right on time). Craig worked on my vehicles for a little over an hour, and then asked if I wanted to pull out some additional door dings and flaws in my truck. He quoted me an additional $ 100 to remove two more fairly good sized dents, which I think is very reasonable. When all was said and done, both of my vehicles looked pristine! Craig was very professional and personable, and he takes pride in his work. We chatted for a little bit, and he was on his way. Another satisfied customer here! I highly recommend 1800-Dent-Doc for their top quality work and professionalism! Thanks Craig!

I had a ding on the a-pillar which I thought was impossible to get out. Craig was very up front with me and told me it was in a very difficult spot to get to. He explained the process and I gave him the go ahead. He was able to get the ding out in about 30 minutes. Very happy with the work and it was worth every penny. $ 200 was well worth the price.

He is good, actually too good. He will pop out any ding back to nonexistence.
But I give four stars because price is way too high. $ 175 for normal ding.
I used him three times, he didn’t give me any discounts. I like his work but too pricey.
If you have money and nice car, definitely use him.

When my husband called me monday morning and told me someone hit our car I knew exactly when it happened. At my sons baseball game. Some idiot backed into our car and didnt even own up to it. I called 1−800-Dent-Doc they asked me to take a picture of it and send it to them. I had service the next day. I also went around to a couple body shops and the cheapest quote I got was $ 900 and the highest $ 1400. Craig saved me a minimum of $ 650. Yes, my original quote was APPROXIMATELY $ 225, but when Craig said that he would have to remount the bumper… I was not complaining over 25 bucks. Thank you for your amazing service. Fingers crossed that we are dent free… But if it does happen again I know exactly who Im calling.

Craig’s a nice guy and work was decent. But here’s what get’s me…
The cost to take out 1 dent and 2 smaller one’s out of my car was to be and agreed $ 250. After it was all said and done Craig then wanted $ 275 because he had to take my tire off to get to the dents. Ye Olde bait n’ Switch. Plain n’ simple, YOU DON’T CHARGE ONE AMOUNT BEFORE AND WHEN THE WORK IS DONE CHARGE MORE! I was a phone call away and he chose to apparently complete the work without advising me and charge what he felt was appropriate when done. $ 25 bucks is $ 25 bucks and just cost Dent-Doc any refferals from me.
So BE CAREFUL and ask for an exact agreed upon cost of services before ANY work is completed.
And another side note, with help from Unilocal and the ever growing strength in commitment to quality service this type of action, with minimal research before commiting will be a thing of the past. Could have given 4 stars if they just didn’t have to squeeze another $ 25 out of me.

Craig has worked on our cars for years. Every year or two we find mystery dents. Someone lets their car door fly, looses their shopping cart or turns around with their golf bag and another dent mysteriously appears on one of our cars. Although I will never be able to change those careless and mindless idiots I have been blessed to know someone who can fix their mistakes.
Despite unpleasant surprises discovered on my cars Craig has almost always been able to make them disappear. And when I say disappear I really mean disappear… I couldn’t tell where the dent was. I could point to the area where it used to be but I couldn’t pinpoint it because it was totally gone.
The only thing he couldn’t fix was a guy backing up into my door with the corner of his bumper. That one required a new door panel and he told me so. Craig is honest, the consummate professional, and has an outstanding work ethic. He is a perfectionist and a great credit to all business owners. I wish more business people worked like him.
For the level of service he provides he is very reasonably price and has saved me many times over what I would have paid by taking our cars to a body shop. If you want to see what a wonderful job he does just have him fix one dent… Then see if you can tell where it was. Provided the paint wasn’t cracked or deeply scratched it will disappear.

I call dent doc, his secretary answers, asks me to send a pic of the dent. Craig calls me back and gives me an estimate for 200. I tell them thats fine. He comes to my location and the tells me its going to cost $ 700!!! Then tries to tell me its going to cost me $ 2000 if i wanted to repaint it. Well the thing is I went to get an estimate at a fountain valley body works and they gave me a quote of $ 1000 for a repaint. I tell craig that I need time to think about it. He tells me he wants $ 65 for him to come out and that I need to make a decision in the next 5 minutes or else I lose the $ 65 and I cant apply it to the service if I want him to fix it next time. I think I should have some time to consider a fix thats going to cost me $ 700. So i ask him how long its going to take and he tells me 1hr. then i’m thinking to myself for sure this guy is scamming me. He wants $ 700 for a process thats going to take 1hr? This guy claims to have all this experience, but in reality he’s just a mobile bum. I wouldn’t let him fix anything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DENT DOC

These guys know what they’re doing. Some stupid jerk decided to punch my car (fist should be very bruised). I knew it was a hard job because the dent was on a fender line and was even told by other «pros» that it might be impossible, but Andrew and Craig from 1800 Dent Doc made me feel better. Craig had great service on the phone. Andrew fixed my dent in no time and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg! Perfect stand up guys and company. No shady fees or haggling, I was given a straight quote from start to finish. These guys know what they are doing. They are perfectionist at their craft and don’t mind where you located. I called in at 9AM on a friday and they came same day at noon. 3 hour turn around and communication. Talk about EXCELLENCE! It was great having them fix my car dent, I wouldn’t hesitate to ask them to fixed other dents that I have in the future (knock on wood). They told me it wasn’t going to be 100%, but I think its 100% perfect and am pretty anal about my cars. I really couldn’t have asked for more!
To sum up: Price A+, Service A+, Communcation A+, Final Result A+

So the other day my car and I got into a little mishap. It wasn’t entirely my fault… for reals! Yes, I know I’m clumsy and I’m not the best driver out there, but I promise you, it really wasn’t my fault! So basically I ended up with a dent near the front of my car. It wasn’t exactly little nor was it huge, but NO ONE knew I had that dent (other than me and the parking guy at work), so I had to figure out a way to get the dent fixed FAST… and without giving away my entire paycheck that I had just received.
After an afternoon of searching and research, I found 1−800-Dent-Doc. The next morning, the owner called me and told me he could get a guy out to fix my dent that same afternoon… talk about fast! (And yes, they come out to you!) I sent him a picture of my dent and he gave me an estimate based on the picture. The repair guy that helped me out was very honest, which I totally appreciated; he didn’t try to rip me off or give me any kind of bull. I was warned ahead of time by 2 different companies that my dent was in a very hard to fix place, so I couldn’t expect a perfect repair. My repair guy warned me of the same thing, but in the end he did a very, very good job (I know because no one’s noticed anything wrong at all) and he got it all done in about 1 hour!
I would’ve gave this place 4 stars, but then I read somewhere that they may have to drill holes in the body of the car to fix certain dents… that just doesn’t sound quite right to me (I’m lucky I didn’t have to worry about that). I’ve read that it is not necessary to drill holes to fix certain dents, that they can be fixed without making holes in your car.
