B & K Auto Body

I brought my daughter’s 2009 Audi A4 in after she was hit from behind in a multi car accident on the 110. I had used other body shops, but wasn’t happy with the service. B&K had all these wonderful reviews, so I decided to give them a try, and I’m glad I did! The staff at B&K simply do a great job, from the second we dropped our car off, until the day we picked it up. They did a superior job on the body work, which was quite extensive, and the car looked brand new. We could afford to take our car anywhere, but we’ll be using B&K for any future mishaps! I HIGHLY recommend this facility.

B&K Auto Body is hands down the most awesome auto body shop in town. They went above and beyond to take care of my needs. I was involved in a car accident and the other party was at fault. Their insurance (AAA) was a nightmare to deal with — the adjuster assigned to me was extremely unreliable and incompetent. I talked to Praline and she said «just drop off your car and we’ll handle everything.» She and David did exactly that! They even got me a car rental, which should’ve been the adjuster’s responsibility. And also they threw in an extra fix for free! Now my car looks great and I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with that adjuster anymore. B&K Auto Body really took care of me. I would recommend them in a heart beat. Thanks again guys! You guys rock!

I originally messaged Raffi through Unilocal several months ago when I use to work in Pasadena and he promptly responded to my request for an estimate for a minor bumper alignment issues which was caused by Honda of Santa Monica. He requested I come in any day for a completely free estimate.
Well months passed and I never got around to stopping by, then I changed jobs and finally got around to going since I had a week day off of work and decided to finally make a 30 mile track in order to go to B&K for what I hope is a free estimate. David and his wife greeted me and David walked with me out to my vehicle and gave me an estimate on the spot with no hassle nor trouble nor lies, he was just honest and gave me the best and worst scenarios for cost (a price range).
At this point I’m estatic. He said I could come in the following week early in the AM and I did, that’s today, I’m currently at a coffee shop while they’re working on my bumper. I was honest with them, that, if for whatever reason the issue is larger them we initially thought just let me know the adjusted cost before hand.
So I’ll finish this review once I get my car back, David said he could have it done by noon but I told him not to rush and that I’m fine with picking it up at 5 if needed, what ever works. My hope here is that they are able to properly align my bumper and, add a new rivet (one is missing currently ($ 2 piece) and if they go the extra mile I hope they tack down my two front inner fenders properly as due to the alignment issues with the bumper both inner fenders clips snapped and are hitting my tires when I hit 50+MPH on the highway. This makes for a loud ride.
Update: The vehicle was finished by 3pm. Before seeing the car David explained to me that the issue was caused by two things. 1. A dealership not being a body shop and 2. Apparently the previous owner of my car had a collusion and the front and had body repair done, but after market parts were used and not OEM parts so David continued explaining that he did what he could and tacked down areas with extra screws. I left the shop pretty happy and they only charged me the mid range of the original estimate.
This being said I got out to my car and while the hood now doesn’t crush the top of the headlight unit when closed, look wise it’s not pretty. There’s a larger (quarter of an inch) gap around the headlight unit. The good news is that the inner fenders seem to be secured-​ish though however it doesn’t look pretty either.
End result being based on this experience I’d give them a 3.5 out of 5 but since Unilocal doesn’t allow half’s I’ll give them a 4 out of respect. I don’t think they did anything wrong and I don’t feel cheated; however, I wish David would have given me an estimate to fix the issue 100% properly instead of just bandaging it, as I most likely would have requested them do the full proper repair for whatever extra money. Now it feels like 2 issues were somewhat solved or bandaged but another is still there as it doesn’t look great.

These guys were amazing. I came in on the recommendation of my regular mechanic (Hrant’s Auto who are amazing) to put in a side view mirror. The guy popped it in within 5 minutes and didn’t even charge me! They were incredibly kind and cordial. I will definitely be back the next time I need a body shop!

Excellent service! Great price! We just brought one of our cars in for a bumper replacement. An older gentleman, a senior citizen, stepped on the gas instead of the break, and hit our car! I called to ask if we had to make an appointment, the girl on the phone said to just bring in the car and that we didn’t have to make an appointment. We brought it in for a quote, and it only took a couple minutes. They inspected the bumper and gave us our quote, so easy and fast!
So the following Monday we brought the car, and we were told it would be ready on Tuesday afternoon. We picked up the car on Wednesday morning, and our car looked perfect. They even washed it for us! I honestly thought it was going to be more of a hassle to take care of this issue, but this body shop was awesome from beginning to end!
I really hope we never need body shop services again, but if we do… we know where to go!

Highly recommend this place. I got my Jeep Grand Cherokee a small collision. The quote David gave me was almost half of others, but the quality was awesome!

Total rip off. Charged us with three days of storage after being told that we couldn’t pick up the car on Friday, it wasn’t ready. Then charged for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Monday car was picked up. $ 600!!! For absolutely nothing but an estimate.

i’ve taken my car to B and K auto body twice now and they have been communicative, professional and timely with all repairs. I would highly recommend this autobody shop for your auto body needs.

Pulled in asking about a quote for a broken bumper clip. David told me to go buy the part from a local part dealer ship and installed it for free on the spot! Was literally in and out within 10 minutes. Very helpful and if I had any other body work I’d definitely come back.

David is awesome! I have been driving around with a broken bumper for many months. Hit and run in the parking lot. Most other body shops I went to, I was told I needed to replace the entire bumper and the assembly, and the cost was going to be $ 800+.
I found B&K, and $ 55 and 30 mins later, the bumper was back on and looking great, minus the scuffed paint. David replaced a bracket that holds the bumper to the frame, and used a heat gun to re-​shape the bumper. Just an overall great experience.

I pulled my goddamn door handle off AGAIN and came back to this place fully prepared to pay for the service this time. They put my handle back on, taught my how to be more careful with it (because now it’s on it’s last leg) and once again charged me nothing. They are kind, courteous and friendly.
Next time I hulk smash my car, I’m bringing it here.

My car got a small scratch when I parked it in a parking lot in front of a grocery store. I searched on Unilocal and found B&K. James checked the scratch and told me he would try to polish the scratch so that I wouldn’t need to pay several hundred bucks to paint it. AND the polishing actually worked. I asked James how much I needed to pay. He said it’s a courtesy so I don’t need to pay. I really appreciate his help and will definitely choose B&K next time because of the honesty and great service.

Raffi and David took great care of me and my Prius. Part of my rear bumper came undone and was basically flapping in the wind. David connected me with a discounted rate for the part (a plastic bracket), and refused to charge me for the repair. That’s unbelievable service that will keep me coming back. Altogether B & K saved me over $ 100 compared to what the dealership quoted.

I just took my 05 Altima over for a quick estimate. One of their awesome techs quickly looked at my car and helped me come up with a fast solution. I thought I would need to replace my front fender liner from some road damage, but he suggested they just replace some clips and reattach it to the bumper. They did the job right there in 15 minutes AND didn’t charge me!!! These guys definitely earned my business the next time I need an auto body shop.

Another 5 star review. I had a small dent on my passenger side door. I went to B&K based on Unilocal reviews. I spoke with Raffi about removing the dent. His price to remove it was on par with another auto body shop estimate I had gotten. The difference here is that Raffi gave me the direct number to the guy who removes the dents and told me it would be cheaper to use him directly. Who does that in this day and age? Andrew is the dent magician who got it out perfectly and quickly, and only charged me $ 65 dollars. I had to drive down the road to the GMC dealership where he was working that day. Very minor inconvenience. I then took it back to B&K where they buffed out the small scratch still left at no charge! Great honest place.

I love B & K! My mini got hit while I was parked at work and the drivers side looked AWFUL. I brought it in to B & K and they made it look even better than it did before. I’ve come back a few more times since to fix a few things and I always appreciate their work. Currently working on fixing my front seat and I know they’ll do a great job!

It’s official, these guys are the best! They fixed my seat! It had been stuck in an awkward position for OVER a year. I’ve taken it everywhere and nobody else has been able to do anything. My only option was to buy a whole new assembly ($ 500+). Well, Dave is magical. He found a seat for $ 150! The only problem is that the upholstery didn’t match mine but they were able to use my old upholstery on the new seat. Thank you guys so much!

My bumper got hit by another car in the middle of the night and I never found out who did it. Needed to get it fixed out of pocket and Raffi + David were super cool about giving me the best deal at my budget.
Sent the car in on Monday afternoon expecting to pick it up on Wednesday. But B&K were so efficient, the car was ready by lunchtime Tuesday. And it was back in perfect condition like nothing happened to it in the first place. These guys are the real deal right here!

I needed the engine guard clipped back on on my toyota so I went to the toyota dealership nearby. The dealership told me it could cost anywhere from $ 85 – 150, but I came here and they fixed it for $ 10! Right away! The people there were much friendlier than the ones at the dealership.
I’m a college student so saving that much money is a huge bonus! Thank you!

Came by and got a quote for a mirror to be painted. Agreed on a decent price and said I would be back the following Friday since they needed to car to match the paint and I would need to take the day off to make that happen. Came in the next Friday after taking the day off and and asked how much for installation and paint. Agreed on the price. Then the guy went outside to see when I could pick it up and then I was told it was too complicated to paint the passenger side mirror. How complicated is it to paint a side mirror???
Went a block down and dropped off the mirror. They matched the color code so I could keep the car and quoted me $ 30 cheaper for both. Cannot believe that BK would be so unprofessional and I wasted a personal day off. I will tell everyone I know to never even bother to go there despite the good reviews
