Great guy honest that hard to find in this business very professional I always go here

Called in and asked for price of an oil change and he said he could get it done the next day and I brought my car in the next day and also got my windshield wipers replaced. It only took like half an hour.

I called ahead of time and John quickly diagnosed the problem over the phone. He told me I could bring it in same day for him to check it out. I got there around 3pm knowing they would close soon. Roe at the front desk greeted me kindly, saying «How can I help you? We treat customers how we would want to be treated.» I left and by 5pm I already had a call back with the problem and estimate. I agreed and he said it would be done by tomorrow! Wow!!! The very next morning I got a call around 11am recommending a battery swap and he recommended the cheaper one since I am getting a new car soon anyway. Most would just tell you they only have one and it’s the most expensive. None the less, I agreed and he said it would be ready in a few hours. Showed up and in less than a day (just a few hours of work held overnight because I dropped it off later in the afternoon) it was DONE!!! Very impressed with this crew. Will recommend to others.

I tried E&M after reading the positive Unilocal reviews. My family has a no new debt lifestyle. For now, that means driving older cars that need more frequent repair and maintenance. I was sick of paying dealership repair prices for s-​l-​o-​w repair work, but was afraid of shoddy workmanship or getting gouged.
Yes, Virginia, there is a place you can take your car to be repaired without getting hosed.
Prompt. Honest. Respectful.Reasonable. That’s E&M in a nutshell. If they can fix it, they do it quickly and at a reasonable cost. If they can’t fix it, they’ll refer you to somebody who can. If there is any problem with a repair, they make it right ASAP.
I’ve been back multiple times for repair/​maintenance needs. I’ve sent friends and family to E&M. I’ve recommended E&M to my own mother.
Definitely the go-​to place for auto repair for my family.

I found this place through Unilocal which has extremely good reviews so I decided to give this place a try. I had a problem with my brakes and a broken A/​C but they took care of it right away. It was very reasonably priced compared to most places I’ve been to. I will definitely be coming back here for all my future car problems. Highly recommend coming here!

I found this place a while ago on Unilocal and their five star rating is so accurate! They’re reasonably priced and very honest. I trust John with my car and now he also has my husband and my parents’ business! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my car!

Great service and they gave great advice on what is needed for your car to run properly. I recomend for everyone to come here and get their car checked. The service was extremely efficient.

Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations. And my expectations were pretty high based on the reviews here. I had a do-​it-​yourself job get over my head and had to tow my car to the garage. E & M fixed the issue for less than I paid to tow the car, and even without an appointment, the car was ready within two hours. Joel, who manned the service desk, was polite and helpful and didn’t make me feel bad for my mistakes. I plan on returning to E & M the next time I have the need. I really hope that isn’t soon.

I did not bring a car in to get fixed, only to be diagnosed. We were interested in buying a car and gave no notice to E&M about bringing the car in. They had a very busy day with many cars waiting to be fixed, but since they were aware of the fact that we drove about 60 – 70 miles to check this car out, he fit us in to run a diagnostics test. They have high-​tech computers that they hook up to cars to check for sensors and overall well-​being of cars that not many shops have. I was just really appreciative of the fact that they fit us in, first in line, with no notice. It showed me that they are not only excellent mechanics, but compassionate as well. I’ve done my research about where I wanted to take the car I was looking at to be checked out and E&M was the only shop with consistent, good reviews and I was not disappointed. I do not write reviews much at all. In the few years that I’ve been a Unilocal member, I’ve only been compelled to write 4 – 5 reviews, total. E&M impressed me so much, I felt so well-​treated, that I felt like this is the least I can do to show how much I appreciated their excellent customer care and honest professionalism. I can say without a doubt that you won’t be overcharged, lied to, or mistreated here. My 2 cents.

This is my first ever Unilocal review because I am so impressed with the service I got today! I took my car in for AC problems a few weeks ago. The source of the leak wasn’t able to be determined at the time so I had a temporary fix and was told to bring it back when it stopped working. When I brought it back today, I was so nervous that my old car with old AC was going to cost a fortune to fix. But I wasn’t charged today! And the cost for the previous trip was totally reasonable! I will bring my car back here for any and all services from now on, I highly recommend it!!!

My AC suddenly stopped working, which is not fun in 100 degree weather! I brought my car in and the owner was super helpful and friendly. I was expecting to have to wait forever, but they work fast! While I was there, I also asked about possibly changing my brakes and he told me they were at 50% and it’d be better to wait it out. I appreciated that he was honest and not out to make an extra buck. I will definitely bring my cars here in the future!

Good mechanic with lots experience I recommend this place for people need good mechanic.

John is an awesome and honest mechanic. He’s the only mechanic that I know that tells you when something doesn’t need to be fixed when he could just as easily do something just for the money. I take a Hummer and a Saturn to him and he does a great job on both. I’m stoked there’s a reliable place to take my cars and that I can recommend to my friends.

I took my 99 Honda accord because it had an oil leak… I Was told by few that it could be the rear main seal leaking, and i knew that would cost me A LOT to get fixed. My uncle told me to give these guys a call and have them look at it, and see what they say.
So i made an appointment and had the car inspected. The technician/​owner called me after few hours and said the leak is coming from the Distributor o-​ring, and said it was an easy fix.
Picked the car up at the end of the day, and it has been a week with zero drops of oil :) E&M Saved me hundreds of dollars, and i want to Thank you for that!

We live in Visalia and had a blown tire on the highway. The tire also did some damage that wouldn’t allow us to start the car. It was a Saturday afternoon when we frantically called (all other shops were close for the weekend or wouldn’t see us). John (the owner) said he was closed but that he’d stay open and try to help us out. He stayed open an extra 3 hours to wait for the tow truck and repair the car. What a blessing after an already long road disastrous road trip. The cherry on top was that he called us the next day to make sure we got home safe. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
