Alison is a fantastic aesthetician! I chose the ultimate facial, and she did an outstanding job of working with my extremely sensitive skin. Often, a facial will cause my skin to break out. Not this time– in fact, I had a couple of blemishes that cleared up in no time, and now, five days later, my skin has not looked so dewy and glowing in years. Alison uses really nice high-​end products, but doesn’t shy away from giving you hints and tricks to save you money in your pursuit of beautiful skin. The facial was relaxing and pleasant and I’ve already scheduled a follow up appointment.
Alison works out of Pure Body Shop, which is a lovely, tranquil oasis on 6^th Ave. I don’t know how they manage to make it so quiet and relaxing right in the hub of a busy neighborhood, but it’s a convenient location — though it’s probably a good idea to leave time to find street parking.
If you’re wondering if it works, all I can say is a man recently told me I looked 14 years younger than I really am. Sure, he might’ve just been flattering me, but 14 years? Besides, that is the kind of compliment I got all weekend long after I got the facial. I have already scheduled my follow-​up appointment.
