J.A. Mathis Company is a full-​service event management company that became a full-​time business in 2010. Vern’s Props and Flowers is a part of J.A. Mathis Company that provides premium floral services and event décor and supplies.

Business Owner

Joe Mathis began planning parties as a child, when at 8 years old, he planned his parents anniversary party. After he and his wife, Angie married in 1990, they began a wedding business and then Joe became an event director for a locally college, eventually leading him to the event industry. Joe and Angie enjoy working with professionals through corporate events, volunteers with non-​profit organizations and then social events like birthday parties and weddings.
