History
Established in 2007.
I have been in the pet business since high school. Volunteering at the local veterinarian clinic, I knew that I wanted to work with animals at a young age. Right out of high school I went to college to get my veterinarian technician degree. In 1990 I started working as a vet tech. In 1994 I started grooming at the clinic where I worked. In 2006 I left the veterinary side of the pet business and opened The Paw Spa in 2007. It has always been a dream of mine to have a business like this. It’s everything I ever wanted. Pets have been my life and my love. I believe to be good at what you do you need to LOVE it and to KNOW it.
Learning is a never ending process, so I have continued my education by attending yearly pet seminars. I have completed courses in; small animal nutrition, obedience, agility, search and rescue, pet therapy, cat grooming and behavior, creative grooming, K-9 first aid and CPR. That’s just to name a few.
