Specialties
It takes effort to eat healthly. Fresh ingredients and our love for food enable us to deliver tasty, healthy, filling food. We do all this while limiting negative environmental impact. In fact, Elote Café and Catering has the honor of being a Platinum Certified ECO restaurant in Oklahoma. Our Meats are free-range and grass-fed, our beef is raised in Bixby, Ok. We recycle what we can and compost our produce remnants to use as nourishment to local school gardens. All of our to-go containers are compostable. We use local vendors in every area we can.
History
Established in 2008.
Elote was opened in May 2008 by owner Libby and Jeramy Auld. Libby is a Tulsa native, graduated high school at Booker T. Washington and went on to Culinary school at OSU. She grew up working in many restaurants, but really enjoying the Mexican style cuisine. In many Mexican style restaurants you will find flavorful food, but with unnecessary fats and additives that are not good for our bodies. Libby wanted to keep the flavors of the food while filling the plate with natural ingredients that will leave you full but not feeling bad. Since 2008, Elote has grown from a only lunch café to a lunch and dinner service restaurant with a full bar and our popular entertainment… Luchador wrestling.
