first time at this dermatologist office. I arrive a little over 10 minutes late, I got lost. I run in and have to wait a few minutes for the receptionist to finish with the customer she is talking to. I tell her who I am and say that I got a little lost arriving. She tells me that they can’t see me because I am late. No one told me that I needed to be there 15 to register. I’ve never been turned away from a doctors office, but I can tell you that I won’t be back here!

I scheduled an appointment two months out and unfortunately the morning of my appointment I had left my wallet in my other car, so I didn’t have my insurance card on me or $ 100 for the office visit fee. So they turned me away and wouldn’t see me or simply bill me for the $ 100. I’m a city employee so they could have easily confirmed my employment or my insurance but instead simply wanted to reschedule me for another month or two out.
I’m sure they don’t need the business. Good thing there are 30 more dermatologists in Tulsa!
