Established in 2012.

William Franklin and Chris McDaniels opened DECOPOLIS in 2012. We wanted to be part of Downtown Tulsa’s revitalization and create a destination for locals and tourists alike to find a great book, gift or a little something special for themselves.

Business Owner

William is a 3^rd generation Tulsa Artist. Some favorite things… Art of course, especially Art Deco, Tulsa, Mod/Retro design, Urban Living, and all things classic Disney. It’s his love of these things that has led him to begin the creation of both the Tulsa Art Deco Museum and the DECOPOLIS in Downtown Tulsa. With both of these projects you can see how William is inspired by Walt Disney to use his artistic talent to create places that are out of the ordinary and that are full of wonder and imagination.

Every time I fly into Tulsa for work I make it a goal to walk into this store. I love how every time I come I find new things and I have to hold myself back from buying more. I wanted to find some retro earrings for my sister and a new cook book for me and I found them both.

Very cool store if you are looking for something cool or that unique collectible. It’s even a cool shop to stop in and browse. They have some seating outside if you want to sit and relax before stopping in to take a gander at their assortment of stuff. The prices range from cheap to somewhat expensive.

I stumbled upon this place and I was so glad I did. From the outside, I thought it would be a video game nerd paradise, but they actually had a ton of cool gift ideas, jewelry, and good smelling lotions and potions. There is a ton of retro and almost retro items that made me smile and think of my childhood. This place would be great for a baby shower gift or a birthday gift for someone with eclectic tastes.

Super cute deco shop! Love the furniture and displays, everything stays pretty true to the art deco theme. They sell some amazing smelling candles, unique cards, really reasonably priced jewelry, vintage toys, glasses frames, perfume, home goods, kitchen accessories… I could go on and on! Friendly staff, not invasive while shopping but still attentive. Parking right next to there might look like a crapshoot, but park in the lot behind the building (next to The Vault) and you’ll be good to go.

Okay, I know I’ve been giving out a lot of 4 and 5 stars lately… But we just keep finding amazing places to go lately! Decopolis Studios is no exception. It’s a unique little shop located near The Vault restaurant (that’s where we came from before stumbling into this shop). I loved the overall look and vibe of the store. It’s really fun and offers a lot of unique gifts in the form of jewelery, art, cards, candles and even some retro toys… yup, we definitely tried out the ray guns and robots! I encourage everyone to have a look at this shop and bring out of towners too for some custom Tulsa items. We will be back to this store often. Everyone was very friendly at checkout as well. Great service!

WOW, what a fun eclectic, interesting store. I ended up buying a bunch of gifts for friends. The prices are extremely reasonable. This place is really adding to the artsy, deco vibe in this part of Tulsa.
