History

Established in 1983.

More than 30 years ago, we became aware that not all families were comfortable sharing with funeral directors how they truly felt about cremation. More and more families were turning to us saying, «Dad just wanted cremation.» Families concerned with the cost of a funeral told us «We don’t want a fancy funeral. The simpler the better.» Over time, they even shared, «It’s more environmentally friendly… I like that.»

That’s why we founded the Cremation Society of Oklahoma. As the one and only cremation society in the state, we have served families with simple and affordable cremations since 1983.

We are the largest provider of complete cremation services and own and operate our own crematories. For more than 30 years, we’ve been setting the standard for cremation services in the state of Oklahoma. We are dedicated to our mission of offering simple, affordable, worry free cremation.

Meet the Manager

Jennifer B.

Manager

Jennifer Beaty, licensed Cremation specialist, is a Native Tulsan and graduated from Nathan Hale High School. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in funeral service in May of 2009 from the University of Central Oklahoma, Cremation Society became her choice for her employment because of the quality and value it offers the Tulsa Community.

Helping our Oklahoma families arrange for simple cremation services is important. Many express gratitude for our simple process, upfront cost information & peace of mind that comes from taking this simple step in planning ahead.

Jennifer is married and adores her family spending as much free time with them as she can.
