I think the best way to begin my review of Bramble is with my wife’s first statement this Sunday morning, after enjoying breakfast there Saturday: «I wonder what the donut of the day is at Bramble today.» That, in and of itself, should be a review. Unfortunately for you(whoever reads my ramblings), I like to hear myself type. This place is off the hook. Everything: location, atmosphere, décor, staff(can I just say the staff of waitresses, and others, were a wonderful example of people who love what they do and have a passion for the culture of the establishment?)… The commitment to local and small farm purveyors, the led pipe chandeliers… And, of course, the food. The Donut of the Day: Peanut Butter with Sriracha Honey and Green Apple Crumble was lightly sweet, a bit of tang and peanut buttery. Delicious. Everything we tried was wonderful. A slight warning, the Migas… A bit on the spicy side. The Poblano Gravy is masterful. But, the spice is wonderfully present. The Duck Fat Home Fries were spectacular(I am running low on adjectives here). My wife had the Bread Pudding French Toast Blue Plate Special. I have to mention, the bacon. If you go for no other reason, go to try this bacon. Seriously, Bacon, Coffee, Donut of the Day, you will be a fan. They serve local Doubleshot Coffee, local Farm Fresh Eggs and, you can immediately recognize high quality ingredients. Bramble also has a full bar, nice for those who enjoy a bit of adult in their morning beverage. This may be the best first impression we have had in Tulsa. We have probably enjoyed a couple places in the country with this type of creativity on the menu without going overboard. Can you say: Captain Crunch French Toast, that’s right it would take a trip to Baltimore to find its match. I highly recommend you go, visit, drink, eat and please, report the Donut of the Day.

Bramble is dope! I’ve been creatively colored impressed each time I have been in for brunch. The digs? Oh dang. This is the one of the nicest looking places to brunch. Beautiful chandeliers, high ceilings and ace artwork… Check. Bottomless local coffee? Check. Bountiful menu options? Check. Excellent service? Triple check. My favorite menu item to order is the omelette made with egg whites and the breakfast potatoes. You can truly taste Bramble’s quality and commitment to keepin’ it fresh. I can’t wait to go later in the evening for a drink!

Bramble is by far the best brunch in Tulsa. I never get tired of it. Their duck fat fries are a must, as well as the weekly quiche and white cheddar pancakes. Their mimosas are also somehow better than other mimosas I’ve had.

Breakfast can be fun. An eclectic atmosphere and a unique but appealing menu. The short rib hash is worth the trip. Smoked short rib with sweet potatoes– I know it’s different but it works. Eggs cooked to order on top. Toast with flavored butter and 3 house made jams. The attention to details makes this a winner

Edited this from my original review because the last two times I have been here, it has taken forever and the staff has been super rude :(. They do have locally sourced food, which is great in my book!

It’s like a restaurant from Portlandia. They gave us lavender butter and some sort of caramel butter. They were both weird. I ordered the brisket hash. It was less like breakfast hash & more like a roast. I like the place. It’s got great atmosphere & the food was good. If you are a hipster, this is the place for you.

Husband and I waited around for about 15 minutes for them to open, before being dismissed as they were«closed for a private party.» No signage or notice stating this. Nothing like making plans, getting friends together, and making a drive, only to learn that your business isn’t wanted. Look – either be a restaurant, or be an event venue, but the current standard is a pretty p*ss poor way to treat your customers. Won’t be wasting my time again.

Went on a rainy Saturday morning around 9:30am and was seated immediately. Ordered the Denver Omelette with duck fat home fries. The omelette was good but over powered by the amount of caramelized onions included. Potatoes were a little cold.

Madeline does the best job on making the most Fluffy Biscuits & Gravy on this side of the Mississippi River. I’m still researching restaurants East of the Mississippi River but I’m certain with her culinary talents it will be hard to find any other person that can prepare the biscuits with that amount of fluff.

I’m giving three stars based on our visit. My hopes are for five next time. Have wanted to take hubby there, but they don’t serve on weekends & he’s a pretty busy guy :) My friend was visiting from Florida the week of July 20th& we wanted a nice breakfast, nice location. I’ve enjoyed Tallgrass next door(before I began Unilocaling) and just knew Th Bramble would an awesome place to entertain. It is awesome in décor like its sister restaurant. My favorite: the juxtaposition of elegant & antique/rustic. A homey feel in an elongated, narrow space, filled with natural light and funky, glamorous chandeliers. We arrived around 10:30& only 2 other couples were there. The chalkboard outdoors announced blueberry donuts with orange zest. Wow! I wanted those — for dessert. Our waitress was prompt & knowledgeable. My friend ordered the daily quiche of corn & kale w/side of duck fat home fries. She totally cleaned her plate as is her habit :) I ordered the double cheddar omelette w/side of home fries also. The menu suggests adding Colorado chili & who doesn’t love a chili omelette? I inquired. The waitress explained that Colorado chili is really just simmered, seasoned beef. Well, yum! So I went whole hog. She told us their«sriracha» sauce was house made as well as the ketchup. They are both quite intriguing. Like others, I’d buy that sriracha! The ketchup is a tad sweet but certainly an enjoyable change in that little dose. My entrée: first bite right into that chili; stone cold. Well, the omelette was hot, so I tried. I so wanted it to be a great experience for my friend. But cold chili is cold chili; what was I to do? I couldn’t eat it. I told the waitress. She offered to «heat» it. I said okay but please don’t nuke my plate to death — no one did. It came back cold. So, I ate my tasty duck fat home fries. Staff was arriving now. In droves, it seemed. I thought we’d share a blueberry donut but my friend, I could tell, wanted her own. We ordered coffee & two donuts, mouth watering. So I must ask this: why put something on your chalkboard you **obviously** made last night? Honestly, it was nasty. Cold, stale, dry, flavorless w/a spot of orange zest. Obsolutely deplorable in my opinion. I could not eat it. You could have nuked it on low for a few seconds as a gesture. No blueberry flavor at all. On a final note I want to mention a couple things. One, I guess because I was nice, my meal was appropriately comped. If you read my reviews you will know this doesn’t happen. I give them kudos for doing the right thing & I will be back. Two, there was a waiter in action while we were there. His name is ***Patrick***. If he is there, ask for him. I called him aside to talk to him & compliment him. Patrick is a gem. I wish he’d been ours. His courteousness, knowledge & willingness to explain, suggest, etc goes above and beyond. Listening to him talk to his tables, I wanted everything! I listened as he serviced a young couple, a couple of tourists and a four top of «ladies who brunch». I should have put money in his hand just for being Patrick.

Despite the fact that the restaurant looked closed, i stepped into The Bramble for breakfast and found it delightful. I ordered the quiche with fresh fruit, and while waiting for my dish the waiter brought a sampling of their housemade donuts – nice touch. The quiche– seasonal mix of veggies – was delicious and offered up with their housemade sriracha sauce. The side of fruit was flavored with mint which turned it from being ordinary and boring. My only disappointments were that the fruit appeared sweetened and was heavy on cantaloupe and honeydew.

I(finally) got the Jack’N’Coke Float. It was something different & worth trying. Coca Cola along with WHISKEY ice cream. It’s in a tall frosted mug, I expected it to be in a normal glass for some reason. But it was worth it. Once the ice cream melts, the whiskey flavor seems to be stronger. Also, I got a donut with hibiscus sugar. It has a deep fried taste & the hibiscus sugar goes well with it. Melts in your mouth. I seriously wanted another but I needed to chill. Didn’t want THAT much of a sugar rush. They switch up their donuts a lot so there’s no telling what they come out with next.

Stopped in here for a quick drink before dinner. The place is decorated nicely, the staff was super friendly and service was great. We ordered the cheese curds to snack on with our drinks and enjoyed those very much. We need to come back for brunch.

We visited Bramble last night so excited to enjoy an interesting craft cocktail and some yummy small plates. We were skipping dinner so were planning to make a meal out of the delicious small plates that we enjoyed the last time we were there. Much to our surprise, Bramble totally changed their concept. Apparently they weren’t getting as much traction as a craft cocktail bar with gourmet small plates and are now focusing on… breakfast? Yes, breakfast. So daily they’ll be serving breakfast(except Sunday) and in the evenings will reopen as pretty much a regular bar. The breakfast sounds good and, coming from the chefs at Tallgrass, I bet it’s going to taste as good as it sounds. However, as a bar, I’m disappointed. The drink menu is shorter, less exciting and cheaper. It’s great that it’s more affordable($ 7-$ 11 per drink) but the choices are really standard. When we talked to bartenders about drink options, they were completely unexcited. My favorite part of Bramble last time we visited was how excited the bartenders were about their craft. That’s totally not the vibe anymore. Also, the small plate menu still exists but is different. They’ve got a mac and cheese, some sliders, some deep fried stuff(onions, pickles, green tomatoes), kale salad, a cheese/charcuterie board and a few other small items. It’s fine just not necessarily exciting like last time. I still think Bramble has potential but I just don’t get it yet. It’s a really cool space, with boring drinks, a standard menu and blue plate specials for breakfast. I’m just confused.

I AMNEVERGOINGBACKTOTHISPLACE!!! Terrible service, overpriced finger food, and pretentious and dismissive wait staff. My party of five went to Bramble. We sat down ourselves in a mostly empty restaurant because none of the 3 wait staff greeted us or told us what to the system was like. They walked by and did not say a word, so we made our own tables. When the server finally came by, he brought all 5 of us 1 menu. When I asked for more, he told us he was trying to track down more, but apparently was never successful. He never told us his name, so we had a hard time getting him to come back to our table. We had to flag him down and waves our arms when he was nearby to order our drinks, to order food, ask for more water, etc. There was literally 1 other table there when we were. We ordered the cheese and meat tray, and the waiter pronounced the meats wrong, but I let it go. He corrected my friend about what the sausage looks like, and also corrected my sister on how their moscow mules do not come in the copper mugs, as they do next door because these drinks are«Bramble mules» and therefore completely different; he demeanor was snide instead of informative. He was very pretentious and dismissive towards our concerns and questions. The three people who received the bramble mules were in different glasses, and therefore some people received a bigger drink. We also ordered the meat-of-the-day tacos, the empanadas, and fries. The tacos were impossibly small, the«shell» or whatever the tacos were resting in, was tough, thick, and difficult to bite into. The meat in the tacos was dry, and tasted of old pre-cooked chicken that you buy at Walmart when you dont have time for dinner. It was served on a giant plate, exacerbating its tiny portions, with no garnish or dress. I ended up dipping the tacos in my friend’s empanada sauce just to give it something to cover up the dryness and make it edible. The fries we received were bottom-of-the-bag, they were the short nubs, and maybe 3 or 4 regularly sized fries. It looked more like crumbs of fries. The server never came to ask us how things tasted, or else I would have sent it back or told him how disappointed I was. My friend’s empanadas tasted fine, but again, the portions were made as an appetizer or child size, and priced as an entrée. It took over 20 minutes of us stacking our own dishes for someone to come by and clear away our plates and silverware. I ordered a Pauline cocktail after dinner. The waiter recommended it to me. It took over half an hour to make, so I flagged down the waiter, who look confused I’d even ordered a drink, and told him I didnt want it anymore. He returned 10 minutes later, again forgetting what I said, with the drink in hand. I had one sip, and then my party was ready to leave. Therefore, I could not even enjoy the cocktail with my friends. They had all received their drinks 45 minutes ago, and were done sitting in this terrible restaurant with bad food and service. I was so disappointed in this place. I am NEVER going back! The service was awful and pretentious, the drink came 40 minutes late, the food was dry, tough, and overpriced. The only upside, is the décor is very rustic, which made it look like a good place to eat. That could not be further from the truth. I disliked it so much, I joined Unilocal solely to write this review, and posted it on facebook.

Bramble is a great addition to Blue Dome District’s burgeoning breakfast scene. Located between Yokozuna and Bramble’s sister restaurant, Tallgrass Prairie Table. There’s a high-end-but-comfortable feel to the place. Tables, and half-booth seating lines the perimeter, showered in warm incandescent lighting via quasi industrial chandeliers of varying size. It’s an open layout, yet relatively intimate. These folks are killing with the Khatchapuri. This Georgian bread housing a 5 cheese fondue, is a must order. I can’t overstate it’s deliciousness. Surprise everyone and pronounce it correctly when ordering.(«Hatch-a-purry») They also have an every changing line up of housemade sausage– currently Blueberry maple sage links. Good, good stuff. They serve thick bacon, which Tulsa’s been a bit late getting. It’s great. Bramble is open for breakfast Monday through Saturday. Sunday is reserved for Tallgrass’ brunch.
