Arnie’s is my favorite kind of dive bar. Dark, smokey, familiar, and daresay cozy. It always feels like everyone in here knows everyone else. And there is shuffleboard. What more could you ask for? They have cheap beer pitchers, and a nice walled patio for the warmer nights. Arnie’s is tied with Fassler for my favorite blue dome bars. It isn’t pretentious, it just is what it is!

I’m giving 3 stars rather than 2 hoping that my recent trip was a fluke. Arnie’s used to be my GOTO bar. Every time we went out but recently I went in and man! Either things have changed or they are just hiring A holes. I deal with the public daily so I’m always polite and try to be considerate. Maybe someone is having a bad day or week. Whatever. The bar tender was not only a jerk to my friend in line in front of me then just as bad with me. I will not be returning. I’ll go to the places I’m guaranteed a good drink without the whole rude bartender nonsense. Not to mention he charged us for doubles and served us a shot. Lose/lose. We drank one drink and went to another bar. Lesson learned but pretty disappointed. I really wish I had gotten his name because I would broadcast it for all.

If you don’t like or can’t deal with smoke, go somewhere else! If you hate crowds, like I do, don’t go here on a weekend. Most of the bartenders are great guys(I say most because I don’t know the new guy). The drinks are cold and wet and a decent price. What else do you need? There is nothing frilly about this place. It’s a 50+ year old smokey bar. Plain and simple. The down side is the fact that you can’t move in there some nights. It gets packed with south siders that decide to slum it for a night of screaming«WOOOOOOOO» and showing off their bedazzled jeans(both men and women) in down town Tulsa.

If you like chill this is the place for some cheap drinks. The bar is pretty small but it is very famous within the downtown area. The only drawback is you can smoke in there which can get a little irritating with all the smoke in the air. But if you are willing to overlook that, it’s a nice chill place. They play all kinds of music and they have a real nice private outdoor patio. Visited November 2014

One of my favorite Pubs to go to when I’m trying to enjoy a good beer and stay low key. Smithwicks and Harp are two of my all time favs so I always make a stop when I’m in the area. It’s usually really crowded but hey, when you have those two on tap what do you expect?

Having had a booth for our art at the Blue Dome Art Fair for several years, Arnie’s as kept us from melting away on those hot May weekends. The service is friendly and the beer as cold as you want it to be. Arnie’s is a great little pub to sped a afternoon at and catch up with friends!

Some prick hipster pushes me and tells me to move, I take exception, and all of a sudden the entire bar is against me, bartenders included. Fuck this place and the dickfaces that run it.

I really don’t know why people fancy this establishment. Maybe I’m just viewing it negatively as a claustrophobic asthmatic, but this place is not so great. I’m seeing a lot of reviews about people commenting on the«friendliness» of the staff. Was I in some alternate dimension, in which the staff are all required to be surly jerks? Maybe. I just don’t get it. There’s nothing uniquely positive about this place. Small, crowded, smoky, sticky, dirty, rudely staffed.

Hey! Lil Arnsbarger, gimme a Mickey’s! Arnie’s is a fantastic little dive bar in the center of The Blue Done district. Lots of locals come here to drink, smoke, eat cheese ballz. You can smoke inside so be careful with that shuffle board weight and don’t set the table on fire. The bar has all you need. Whiskey, and more whiskey. A few beers on tap, tons of bottles and cans of varieties and pitchers if you want to share or be a lush. It’s a pretty small place, but that only makes it feel cozy. Plus the people are great. They have darts in the back and shuffle board in the front. If you like to get a little smoke in your hair and enjoy shots with everyone at the bar, Arnie’s is where you want to be. It’s a classic place with a little edge and a lot of charm.

There is nothing fancy about this establishment, and that is why I love it. When I walk in I feel comfort already in the small intimate feel of the initial room. They’ve got bar seating, small pub tables, a booth and shuffleboard. Welcoming chatty staff which I love. There is a room in the back with more things to do, places to sit as well as an outside area. It is right in the heart of the blue dome district. Dark, somewhat quiet and somewhere I’d actually like for a date, but I’m a pretty casual gal. If you come in here more than once a week, they’ll probably have your drink memorized by that point. It is smoking inside so keep that in mind, and if you run out, they sell cigarettes out of the bar, just gotta ask. The beer selection isn’t huge but they’ve got something to pretty much suit anyone’s needs and I like/appreciate that immensely. Plenty of liquor too. ;) Cheers.

I enjoyed that this bar wasn’t over done and has a patio area. It’s very small but has great character. The gin and tonic was well made.

Dive Bar with a stressed out bartender and plenty of local Tulsans to keep the people watching interesting. Hard to tell employees from bar flies. Expensive drinks and horrible customer service. They pour what they want you to have not what you ask for.

Used to love this bar until the bartender was a rude jerk on multiple occasions. Not interested in giving them business. Dirty dive bar with dirty people.

I stopped here briefly on the night of 4th of July. Fortunately, most people were out watching fireworks, because the space is so tiny that I would not want to be there when it’s a full house. They did have a decent-sized patio too, at least. Bartenders were nice and quick with service. My rum and coke was a little too much rum, but eh, that’s normal for most bars. So a-ok, it is!

What more great things can I say about this bar that the people who matter in Tulsa don’t already know? You wanna smoke cigars with your drank? Come here. You wanna hang with great people? Come here. You want the best fucking badass bartender to pour your Guinness? Yes, Sean Ryan will do that. You still haven’t gone to Arnie’s since reading this review? You’re an idiot.

If you want a true Irish Pub that has been around since what seems like the dawn of Tulsa, this is your place. The beer selection is good and it rotates a bit, so there’s usually something new to try in addition to the regular favorites. The bar itself, in conjunction with the staff, make this place«that bar». It’s an amazing place to unwind, whether you’re wanting to unwind on the patio, you’d rather shoot darts, or if shuffleboard is your thing… Arnie’s is a good bet. Can’t wait to make this my first stop next time I’m in Tulsa.

Seriously — these folks take their Irish seriously. Throw in great beer, and on the afternoon I popped in — live music. And Arnie’s is a can’t miss.
