I love Asian cuisine! This place has the BEST salt and pepper calamari. It doesn’t even need any sauces to be that amazing. I love the crispy chip noodles that come along with it as well. Another favorite of mine is the salt and pepper spare ribs. They make it so crispy and delicious. I could come here every week for these dishes if I could! I like their new location on Garnett. It gives it more of a «Chinese restaurant» look instead of their old location. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

This place is the REAL deal. My Vietnamese friend took me here years ago when they were at their old location and we have been hooked. Love the new location. We are never disappointed.
Went last week with our sister in law and brother ln law. They had never been and they loved it. We split the Tom Yum soup among the 4 of us (it is a very flavorful seafood soup). We also had the fresh rolls (like summer rolls-​yum). Then 3 of us split the salt and pepper shrimp (no shell)-delicious and the chinese broccoli with garlic sauce. My husband had his favorite, the ribeye steak with black pepper sauce.
We have also had their calamari-​fried-​as an appetizer and it may have been the best calamari I have had. Also, another one of my favorites is the yang chow fried rice.
The atmosphere is simple and nice, it is not upscale or fancy.
If you want authentic asian food, this is the place to go in Tulsa!

I hadn’t been to the new location and was very excited to check it out. I was really missing Peking duck and I was told this was the place to get it. I was so so so disappointed. It was not only NOT Peking Duck it was bad for whatever it was. I called ahead to confirm they had it, and reserved one. When we arrived she acknowledged my request. Then within seconds of ordering 2 plates of cold greasy duck breast arrived. The skin was not crispy nor separate from the meat. The hoisin sauce was watered down and had no flavor. There were no pancakes or buns served I had to request them. And when we got them the did not serve any scallion or cucumber with this. I have been eating Peking Duck for more than 30 years in many different cities. This was not Peking Duck. I can’t comment on anything else because we left and didn’t wait for our appetizer or anything else we ordered. Consider yourself warned if you are looking for Authentic Peking Duck in Tulsa. By the way someone previously posted a picture of their Peking Duck that looked more like it should. I did ask if what we got was Peking Duck and was assured this was indeed Peking Duck. It was inedible duck for whatever it was. I must say the bums were amazing though!

I have not been to the new location, but it was great food. At first I was thrown off by the trilingual menu: Chinese, Vietnamese, and English. I think the owner’s wife speaks Vietnamese or is Vietnamese. The menu is huge and all the dishes I’ve had were great.

Asian cuisine is one of only two authentic Chinese restaurants in Tulsa, and I say this as a Chinese American. This restaurant is family owned by very respectable and philanthropic members of the community. Everything there is cooked from scratch and to order. While this isn’t the Americanized buffet Tulsans are used to, it should be tried. The new location hosts a larger selection of table sizes and a wholesome and clearly Chinese atmosphere. It’s phenomenal for banquets. I’ve been to this restaurant over 5 times, and will continue to return.

Edit: After reading reviews below, I feel it’s necessary to add that this is a Chinese restaurant. Like an actual Chinese restaurant. The service included: that’s what should be expected if everything else is as authentic as this is. The food is the focal point, and the service always comes second; differing from the American standard. The waiters do their jobs, leaving the quality of food to be paramount. Also, if one doesn’t order stereotypical American Chinese food, the food won’t be greasy. Chinese food usually isn’t. ;)

A favourite of mine! Delicious food with big portions. Never disappoints me. Sometimes service is slow but the food is worth the wait. Great prices and lots of flavor!

Loved this place when it was at 51^st & Yale. Stopped at the new location for dinner with my wife and we were not disappointed. Much nicer location than the old one, more like a typical Chinese restaurant. Still not high end, but I’ll take great food over atmosphere every time.
Salt and Pepper Calimari appetizer was great, as usual, possibly the best Calimari I’ve had. For entrees we had the Fried Sole and Salt & Pepper Crab. Both were fantastic, the fish was crisp but not over-​cooked with an awesome sweet and sour sauce. The crab is wok fried with salt and jalapeños, cooked perfectly.
Everything is served family style, so it’s best to order for the table not individuals. Plus it’s great fun to share. Our server was friendly and very attentive.

While their menu is pretty extensive, we went on recommendation mainly to try their roasted duck, which was tasty with a crispy skin and pretty tender and moist. The full order comes on two plates, so depending on your party size, the ½ order may be enough. We also ordered the dry beef flat noodle which had a good combination of very slight sweetness and savory and a decent portion of beef to it. We asked for the chicken fried rice to be very spicy, the server said he ordered three star spicy for us, and we all thought it was pretty mild. I’d go 5+ star on the spicy for next time probably. The Chinese broccoli in garlic sauce was cooked to a nice tenderness without being overdone and had an ample but not overpowering garlic flavor. Egg rolls are $ 1.25/ea and are some of the better ones I’ve had around town: they aren’t just crispy but have a balanced flavor of spices, pork, and veggies, I definitely recommend these to the egg roll lover. One of my favorite plates of the night was the soft shell crab appetizer. They are lightly breaded and deep fried perfectly crispy with about 4 or 5 on the plate accompanied by freshly sliced jalapeño garnish to add some nice kick to them.
The atmosphere isn’t fancy, but not too dumpy either, and the service is friendly and quick. But what you come for is the food. The value is very good for what you get. And with everything we had we could tell it was more than just overly salted food to disguise a quickly produced meal, we could taste a variety of flavors like garlic, ginger, Asian five spice, pepper, etc. Asian Cuisine serves up quality meals where you can let your taste buds explore a bit, so go visit and have some fun with it! I’ll be back to try more items on the menu for sure.

We actually drove to the old location first. Wasn’t aware they had moved. While there, we contemplated whether it was worth the drive across town and based on craving and past experience it was.
I actually miss the steakhouse décor. Gives it character. New location looks to have taken over a former buffet restaurant. They have signs on their entry notifying customers there’s no buffet
We got four entrees. Bill came under $ 50 w tax and tip. Portions are huge. Plenty to take home and enjoy for your next dinner.
My favorite was the veggie clay pot. They had crispy tofu with mushrooms and bok choy. My husband said the duck wonton soup was meh. Too many bones and wontons weren’t the greatest. He liked his roast chicken. We also had veggie chow fun which could have been seared a bit longer. You know that crispy taste that is a bit carmelized? Well it was missing that. Boo
Service was good. Attentive waiter. Gave us a heads up on the wait.
I don’t know if we’ll be back. Probably try a few more Chinese places before we come back. This new location has been open for two months. Hubs felt the first time we came to Asian Cuisine (old location) the food was better.
Clientele looks to be older. The other place had more millennials visiting vs here.
Overall keep your expectations tempered.
