Don’t get me wrong, I love the quality of their fashions and their prices are awesome. However! Ann Taylor Tulalip Outlet store has the absolute worst customer service. Staff are snobs and have no enthusiasm whatsoever. I have gone on a Saturday 3 different occasions first thing in the morning, and not once have they offered any kind of assistance while I shopped. On average, I spend an average of 1 hour in that store from floor, to change room, cash and back out with the Manager working the floor and a sales associate or two floating around me. Not once am I offered information about: 1. In store Promos– ZIP. 2. Offered a shopper’s bag to hold the ton of clothes in my hands. 3. Offered assistance with a changeroom — sizes etc. In fact today I was so fed up of holding all of my clothes I approached the manager to ask if she could tell me where the store bags were and she had them all on her arm!. I complained about their lack of customer service from start to finish today and they gave me excuses to explain for it – payroll cut in the last 6 months, blah blah blah. Smarten up management because even your own manager that works there, couldn’t give a damn about«offering» you any help as you shop. Your totally on your own here.

I love this Ann Taylor. It’s one of my favorite stores in the outlet mall. The sales reps are always friendly. I know I can find an outfit for every occasion.

Disclaimer: Although this is in the Seattle Premium Outlets, it is actually about an hour North of Seattle. This is my favorite store in the entire outlet mall. My friend is an Ann Taylor fan, and I went there, but found much more at the LOFT. The clothes here fit me wonderfully and are totally my style. The sales clerks are helpful and I didn’t have a «hounded» experience like others have claimed(granted, I have only been here three times). I like the dressing rooms and the people working them are so friendly and never get annoyed when I «pass» on a item. I love the layout of the store and the clearance rack is mighty with a great selection and excellent value.

I love Ann Taylor clothes, and its great to have them at slightly cheaper prices! I think the store is laid out fairly well, and it doesn’t have that typical«outlet mall» feel. I’ve gotten some great things here over the years. The store is well-lit, has a decent number of dressing rooms that are a reasonable size, and has friendly sales-professionals. Good place to go!

The salespeople here HOUND you. Walk in the door? «Hello ladies. Let me point your attention to no less than four different groupings of clothes and the sale point they are on right here within radius of the door.» Pause while walking to casually pull at a dress hanging up? «Omigosh I love that dress. Do you want to try it on? You should try it on. You should really try it on. Let me get that for you.» Pick up a sweater? «I love that sweater. It is SOOOO flattering. My favorite part is that it’s like dolman sleeves without being dolman sleeves.» [Note, it was the ugliest sweater I’ve ever put on. Talk about wrinkled armpits]. I could go on, but multiply this by about ten, and you’d have my 15 minute experience in this store. Trying a couple things on, the quality seemed poor and I didn’t like the cut of anything anyway. Cheap price does not make up for rushed/skimped production and terrifying sales pitches. Commission much?
