Dress Barn

This was my first time EVER shopping at a Dress Barn, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. I just heard they have some good suits and business attire. I was looking for some new items for job an upcoming job interview, primarily a new business suit. The sales staff was so helpful and very nice! They helped me find what I was looking for quickly and also gave some great suggestions for other items too. They were attentive, but not «too attentive,» if you know what I mean. The prices are very reasonable, especially if you find something on their sales rank! I mean, where can you find a Jones of New York suit for under $ 100! HERE! I was so happy! They offer some great sales too, and if you sign up for emails or mailers, you’ll get some additional coupons to save every more. They also offer petite and plus sizes, so there’s something for everyone.

My friend, Stephanie, and I were having a girls’ afternoon so we stopped here for some shopping.
There were no other customers in the store which seemed odd for a Saturday afternoon especially since the other plus size store nearby was packed.
I shopped on the discount racks at the back of the store. They had some deep discounts of 30%, 40%, and 50% off items. The racks were packed so I wish there were less on each one so I could easily browse through the selection.
I signed up for their text special but it was 20% off of a regular priced item and I only bought were clearance items. Bummer.
The sales staff were helpful but not as pleasant as the staff at Lane Bryant (next door).

I randomly decided to stop in this store on my way to lunch next door. The staff was lovely, surprisingly genuine and helpful. I didn’t purchase anything on this trip but I will certainly be back when I’m in need of a specific item of clothing. Prices were definitely affordable and sizes we’re aplenty.

Nice store. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The selection is a little geared toward an older crowd, but there is a large selection of professional dresses. The sale rack was great. 50% off quite a few things. Nice place to shop for classic pieces. I bought a great black blazer half off, and two nice camisoles, buy one, get one half off.

The staff is very friendly and goes out of the way to help you fund something that looks good on your body shape. Great customer service! A+!

If you’re under the age of 35, don’t expect great customer service. In fact, don’t expect any customer service.
My wife liked this store from the Midwest, but this one is just awful.

I wish the staff the previous reviewer had was there while I was. The staff I encountered were incredibly rude and disrespectful. I will never make any effort to go here again.

Very helpful here. Went in looking for a dress for a semi formal event. The selection was okay. Bigger selection in their website. Thankfully I found a dress and reasonably priced. The sales lady was super helpful. Not once did I feel pressured.
