No need for eye drops and dilation! No long wait! No need for a doctor’s referral for insurance purposes! Quick in and out! Thorough eye exam plus refraction test for eye glasses. Just love the neatness, preciseness, and done in less than ½ hour. Very convenient and happy. I am so glad they have this machine that allows them to look into your eye without dilation. The eye doctor and staff were each very competent and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to get my eyes examined. They now can notify me with a reminder for next year, or I could have made my exam appointment a year in advance. Truly, the place to go to for you next eye appointment.

I went for an eye exam for with Dr. Tammy Nguyen on a Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Arrived about 10 minutes early, filled out some brief medical history forms as it was my first visit there, sat for only a few minutes, then was seen by one of the techs (young woman, don’t recall her name) who performed the digital retinal scan that I opted for in addition to the eye exam. She was very professional and courteous and everything was quick and hassle free. Then I saw Dr. Nguyen for the eye exam.
Dr. Nguyen was very thorough, not rushing me to make choices and explaining everything as she conducted the exam. She also showed me the images from the digital retinal scan and explained everything in detail. She was very knowledgeable and struck me as just a very friendly person who likes people and enjoys her work. I would highly recommend her for your next eye exam.
The people at Lenscrafters were also very nice to work with but after trying on about 40 different frames and then going home to think about it, I’ve decided I just really don’t like how I look in glasses and can’t justify dropping $ 500+ on a pair of glasses that I will probably only wear when driving at night. So, I’ll probably opt for something dirt cheap elsewhere. But if you’re used to wearing glasses and aren’t as fickle as me I’m sure you can find something you like there as they have hundreds of frames to choose from.

I will not return to this store… ever.
I went for an eye exam for a new prescription for contacts and glasses. The receptionist at the front counter told me the price of the contacts I wanted, and said that they will match online prices. I went back a few days after the exam with a printout from an online store which was $ 171 for a years supply of contacts. The lady at the desk called her manager and told me they will only match prices from 1−800-contacts…and that price was $ 285…I wasted a trip and my time back to the mall. I told the lady at the front desk that it was very poor customer service and they just lost me as a patient.

The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I did not have insurance, but the price charged was reasonable. The testing was comprehensive, and everything done was explained. It is easy and convenient to get an appointment.

I went to Tucson Family Eye Care for an annual exam and contacts. Dr. Ginman is very knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted in contacts. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I have dry eyes and previously had discomfort with contacts. He recommended Biotrue and they are absolutely fantastic! Very happy! Dr. Ginman will now be my regular eye doctor.

We have been going here for a few years now and they are fantastic. Michelle at the front desk has always been very helpful and friendly. My wife went through a few different brands of contact lenses before she could settle on something that worked for her. They were patient and helped us out well. I was just there for an annual eye exam and it was all very professionally taken care of by Dr. Tammy Nguyen. I would highly recommend the clinic and will go back next time we need an eye exam or contacts.

Have been going to Tucson Family Eye Care for a few years now and have nothing but great things to say about this practice. Whether it be for contact lenses or regular eyeglass prescriptions Dr. Ginman always goes above and beyond when it comes to the exam which could explain why sometimes there is a bit of a waiting time but always worth it. He always takes his time to explain how my Rx has changed and how my current eye health is doing. The exam always goes beyond a simple prescription and he always does an overall health check, I have never gotten a clearer prescription with another doctor. The staff is incredibly nice and extremely helpful. I was taught for my first time to put contact lenses at this office and i believe it was Michelle that helped me out, couldn’t be nicer or more patient. Will be going back soon for my annual eye exam!

I was seen by Dr. Thomas Ginman with Tucson Family Eyecare located inside of LensCrafters on Oracle Road yesterday for the very first time I do not understand why this business would only have two stars he took his time was very professional friendly thorough and gave me plenty of samples I was a walk in with no appointment and I was seen within an hour when I explained to him that I was going to get my contact lenses through 1 – 800 contacts he told me they price match also I will definitely go back for my annual check ups and also get my contact lenses through him The entire staff was friendly as well and the rooms were very clean

My appointment was the last one on a Saturday and I waited for about 25 min which I thought was OK. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Waited for over an hour. Ridiculous time management. Not coming back here next year.

Wish I could give no stars. I was unhappy about the persciption brand they have me (I had 3 deffects) and wanted a different brand and was told I would have to make an appointment and spend 40 plus to get it changed! I was just there less than 6 months ago and because I am unsatisfied with the quality they recommend I have to pay more? I would rather go to another doctor and start all over than give them money! They lost a customer for life!
