Beth is a Pacific Northwest native who happily transplanted with her family to sunny Tucson in 2013. She has been a licensed massage therapist for 7 years and a certified Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy Master since 2008. Beth likes working with people who view massage as medicine; a therapeutic tool to improve their athletic performance, wellbeing, and overall health. She strongly believes that the feet are superior massage tools that take the benefits of therapeutic bodywork to entirely new levels.

Wow. I have had two massages from Beth so far, and I have walked out of both of them in a transcendent state of bliss. Such a great experience, from her space at the Historic Y, to the relaxing sounds and scents she has going, to the massage itself. It’s like she pushes all of the stress and «yuck» right out of me. I have recommended her to several friends already, and I recommend her to you, too :)

For the last few months I’ve had a habit of getting a massage every week. I’ve been travelling the whole time so I’ve had massages from a number of different practitioners. I can say hands down that Beth is the best I’ve experienced yet.
Getting a massage from Beth has spoiled me when I go somewhere else and the practitioner asks, «How hard do you want the massage?» My impression is that Beth doesn’t need to ask because she knows by listening to my body. My body achieves a level of surrender with Beth that’s rare with anyone else.
I quizzed her about her training but didn’t hear anything special in her answer so I conclude that she must be «a natural».
Every time I pass through Tucson I will be giving Beth a call.

Two words: surprisingly comfortable! I’d never experienced ashiatsu before, and was nervous about the idea of having someone else standing on my back. Usually I like only a lighter to medium pressure. Beth adjusted her pressure expertly so that I had no problems. I loved the warm room and table warmer — it would have been easy to get cold otherwise. I felt very relaxed after. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Had a massage here right before a long trip back east. Wasn’t really sure what to expect, as I had never had this type of massage, but it was AMAZING. Not to mention the oils Beth uses smell so good! I will certainly go back!

What a wonderful massage! The way Beth massages is so relaxing and therapeutic. I felt so good for weeks after the massage. I highly recommend getting bodywork from her. Definitely recommended!

I highly recommend Antidote Body Therapies! Beth is a skilled massage therapist, and was very attentive to the overall experience. I loved the pressure of her foot work– it was my first Ashi massage, and I loved it. I felt loose and relaxed for days.
