You can definitely go as a new patient during the morning hours. In and out including waiting time can be up to an hour. Your gait, mobility, athletic performance, and pain will improve. It is worth the maybe inconvenient hours, waiting, and parking. It may be an issue if you have to go frequently because there are already people waiting by the doors in the morning and after lunch in the afternoon. I’m not sure if it’s less busy in the summer. The massage therapists are awesome and can really focus on a problem area; they can notice functional issues easily and correct them. But if you have a massage appointment then want to wait for chiropractic, it could be a couple hours in there. Just go once and see how your posture and walking improves:). A four week package is an little more than two individual visits so I would pick that option.

I woke up with terrible back pain and dragged my sore self across campus to this place in the one time slot I had open in my schedule, only to be told they don’t accept new patients after 1:00 (it was not quite 2:00). Why advertise that you accept walk-​ins if it is only true for established patients? I was told to come back at different times that definitely do not work for my schedule. Now I’m without help and in even worse shape thanks to the walk – like literally in tears from the pain. Guess I’ll try to make it through the night and see if I can find someone who actually does accept walk-​ins or will work with my schedule…

I used to have chronic back pain. For years, it was painful to sit for long periods of time and I felt like my upper back was always tight. Dr. Eric fixed me up and I no longer have the pain. He does not work by appointment, which is perfect for me as a busy college student. I went in quite regularly until my body began holding the alignment on it’s own. Now, I go in once a week just for maintenance. Dr. Eric is very knowledgable and has shown me multiple stretches to supplement. So thankful for That’s The Spot and Dr. Eric!

I usually go to the one on the Eastside never had a problem getting in to be seen. I’ve had knee and hip problems for years because of soccer. However, I moved across town and closer to the university tried to go into this location once between 10am-​1pm because they told me I would be considered a new customer. When I went in they turned me away so I went to the Eastside one and of course had no problems getting in to be seen. Tried going back again a couple months later between 10am-​1pm to the university location they turned me away again. I refuse to go back to either locations due to the lack of respect the university location has giving me. It’s frustrating to me considering I take a couple hours off work to make sure I could make it between the times he requests to see new customers, and both times I did that they still turn me away, just ridiculous.

Dr Eric is amazing. I found him on Unilocal while traveling to Tucson and figured if people were Unilocaling a Doctor he must be good. And thank goodness I did because he works wonders. His whole business model is intriguing and so well done. He gets you in and out quick with no need for an appointment. For someone on the go like me, this is excellent. I will continue to go back when I am in town!

My husband is always complaining of neck aches and back paint so I found this place on Unilocal and decided to go due to the great reviews… my husband LOVED it. (It turns out that Dr. Eric is the same chiropractor a good friend recommended to me years ago but I never had the time to go). I finally went myself due to horrible back pain and I haven’t felt it since. My sleep has also improved. Each visit is $ 20 unless you buy a plan which saves you money and brings each visit’s price down even more. Fridays are pretty busy. I heard Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best time to go. (Btw, EVERY person I’ve talked to who goes there has told me that they have gone to multiple chiropractors for years and that Dr. Eric is by far the best one) Everybody there is super friendly.

Walked in feeling like a board, walked out feeling a butter. Dr Eric and his staff were very thorough and very nice. They made sure my questions were answered and concerns addressed. If you’re a new patient come in the morning.

Dr. Eric is in my opinion an «intuitive «, chiropractor. Yes, you say what is going on and yes you let the front desk know and he finds the «spot» immediately. Gifted, kind, takes time with each patient as needed He is always smiling. No ones ever stressed. The girls in front are off the chart sweet. I recommend this man and was so grateful to find him.

Dr Eric is awesome. He takes his time and is very knowledgeable. I felt a million times better after just one visit.

Dr. Eric works on many UofA athletes and pro athletes. He does full body adjustments every visit and has a strong background in massage therapy. If you have ever had an adjustment here you’d be a fool to go anywhere else. His plans are very reasonable and worth every penny!

Dr. Eric is professional and affordable. No sales tactics or games, just good health and advice. I’ve been going for about 5 months on a maintenance plan and notice a major difference from the first month to the fifth in my back and neck pain, vertigo and energy.

This place is fine if your a new patient you could wait for about one hour or more just to get to see the chiro. parking is bad but the validate if your park in the parking garage., bring a book or check in then go walk around if its your first time.

I have been to many chiropractors over the years, some good and some not so much.
I went to see Dr. Eric because of his location 2 years ago; I have kept going because of his experience, professionalis­m, his great staff, and the great value they provide. I see one person who said it helped some but they are not too sure. From experience I can tell you that one’s spinal misalignment can be caused my many things including accidents, falls, emotional trauma etc. It has been my experiences that you can’t just go get adjusted a few times and be ok, it can take many adjustments in order to see progress, and then some sort of maintenance schedule and exercise in order to keep you aligned.
I use multiple modalities including Rolfing, massage, and chiropractic in order to correct many issues due to years of improper alignment and physical trauma (falls, car accidents, etc.).
With these modalities I have been able to correct many of the postural problems I had and be pain free 95% of the time which is not bad for a 50 yr. old considering that in my thirties I had numbness in my hands, pain in my back and neck along with chronic lumbar issues. Proper spinal care has allowed me to now be able exercise vigorously on a regular basis without pain and additional injury.
We as a society spend so much on buying junk and so little on alleviating our postural issues. We sleep on cheap beds, wear cheap shoes and don’t want to spend on spinal alignment /​maintenance. Then we complain as we age because our bodies hurt and we have limited mobility!
Dr. Eric provides a no BS clinic, knows his field well and is fully capable of helping anyone with postural problems. They don’t deal with insurance but they offer great care at very affordable prices. Again, I went to him because of location and I keep going because of the fine level of care I get at very affordable prices. We have no one to blame but ourselves if we can’t be pain free or be flexibly mobile as we age, mobility and flexibility it is something we have to work at ongoingly, and Dr. Eric’s staff and clinic make that easy to do so.
He has a patient for life with me because I rely on regular chiropractic treatment
as part of my spinal health regiment and his clinic offers a great value. I highly recommend him to anyone of any age.

Kind of like the old, «I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!» saying except it’s, «I’ve gone to Dr Eric and I can’t go back to my regular chiropractor!» Seriously — he’s that good.
My back started acting up recently and I went to my regular guy but didn’t get any relief. I went to see Dr Eric this morning and I can already feel the difference. Dr Eric spends a fair amount of time feeling your trouble spot before making any adjustments and then he gets to work. This fine doctor manipulates, pops, cracks and cajoles more of my joints than my regular guy.
His front office staff girls are incredibly nice and welcoming. And they’re fun! Don’t be surprised or discouraged if you get there when the doors open — it gets busy. Dr Eric says Monday and Friday mornings are especially busy. But it really doesn’t take very long to be seen. Just have a seat and enjoy a magazine and listen to the music. You’ll be lying on a treatment bed in no time.
So I keep saying «my regular» guy or «my regular» chiropractor. I guess I should be saying «my former» guy or chiropractor because Dr Eric will now be my «regular» guy.

Being a really active person, I can’t afford to be out of alignment. Dr Eric always fixes me! It’s totally amazing! Such a great place. The staff are amazing and dr Eric works magic!

Seen Dr. Eric yesterday, April 28^th, 2014. The numbness in my left leg is completely gone. There is No pain in my right leg. The pain up my lower back is almost non-​existant.
I have so much hope today that I feel alive again. All because Dr. Eric took the time to find where my pain was coming from and is adjusting it.
Morning doesn’t come soon enough when life is waiting. Now I can participate.

Dr. Eric is awesome. My dad is a chiropractor and I’ve been getting adjusted since I was 12 hours old so, I’ve been to a lot chiropractors and he’s the best. His staff are really sweet and always helpful! He always asks what the issues are and is really caring.

Called to make an appointment as a new patient. Was told all new patient appointments are from 10 – 2. Ok, so can I make an appointment for tomorrow?” No, we take first come first serve.” So, if I ask for time off work and get there and you are booked, I just wasted time off? «I guess so, sorry.» Are you kidding me???

Dr. Eric is amazing! He takes the time with every person to not only pinpoint your personal aches and pains, but genuinely cares enough to get to know you as a person as well. I’ve been going to him for a couple of years now, and he’s helped me heal from surgeries and miscellaneous injuries.
Not to mention you get the convenience to just walk-​in, and for the lowest price I’ve ever seen for a chiropractic service, $ 20! They also have the option of massages (by appt only) that are absolutely wonderful, and still reasonably priced.
No matter what your age or the problem, Dr. Eric will soon become your favorite go to person for help :)

I had written another review for Dr. Eric. Another business had the audacity to claim that review, and apparently others as their own. Pshaw!
I hurt my back several years ago, and every so often, either through complete stupidity, or by playing racquetball (does that fall under stupidity?), I re-​injure myself. Sometimes to the point where I walk hunched over… ambling about like a docile old codger.
Parking at That’s the Spot is a bit tricky. Metered parking along University, or a garage.
New patients are seen only between certain hours, mainly because of the initial paperwork and introduction that takes place.
DR. ERIC IS AMAZING!
You don’t receive private treatment, 6 – 8 beds are in the back room, so you are free to watch the master in action as he tends to his patients. Dr. Eric always greets you by name, and remembers certain facets of previous dialogue. His demeanor is quiet, friendly, but not over the top. It’s an extremely comfortable environment and experience.
DR. ERIC HAS MAGIC HANDS!
$ 25 for a visit, other options are available if you want to go more frequently, I’m usually good with just periodic treatments.
Sometimes relief is immediate, sometimes it takes a day or so for my body to adjust to being properly aligned… regardless, it works. HE works.
