You will go «There and Back»! They have a large assortment of commuter accessories as well as commuter style bicycles. The staff is freindly, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to find the right cycle for you! They also do quick repairs as well as tune-ups and complex work. Great stuff!

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. I know basically nothing about bikes, and they nicely explained everything to me about my repair job. They found and ordered a rare part for my older bike, and they even showed me how to do some maintenance myself at home.

I’ve been in several time for parts and accessories, of which their selection is great. The service is always friendly, and I really like that the selection skews toward the pragmatic. If you’d rather have dependable than trendy, this is the shop to go to.

Steve was super chill, but still very fast at getting my bike up and running. I haven’t seen anyone who beats his prices, and he knows his bikes. My old 1970’s commuter has never been so easy to ride. Friendly, Fast, and Cheap! Brilliant!

Not only was it a store geared toward commuters, but the service was fantastic. I needed a good setup on the cheap cruiser I found on craigslist, and Steve spent a good hour and a half listening to and answering my questions, researching additional products that might help, loading the contents of my backpack into various panniers to find what might work best and then setting the bike up with what I needed. I really enjoyed shopping there and will definitely be back. When I looked at the website, I discovered the shop also offers classes and workshops for newbies. I’m looking forward to learning how to fix a flat tire soon!

I went to «There and Back Bikes» to buy a moustache handlebar and I was pleasantly surprised. The fellow helping me was very nice and helpful. He was actually engaging to speak to, unlike some other bike shops who actively shun conversation with customers. The handlebar was good quality and cheap to, 19 bucks! Excellent!

I didn’t buy my bike there, but this place has great commuting accessories(nice-looking bags, comfortable handlebars, really cool helmets) that you won’t find anywhere else in town. The owner is incredibly friendly — he actually let me into the store on Monday, when they’re supposed to be closed, and helped me shop. Bike selection looks great, too — he had some nice-looking commuting bikes, cruisers, and the only Extracycle Radish cargo bike I’ve seen in town.

I bought my comfortable and stylish Linus Dutchi 3 here. The owner, Steve, was extremely friendly and helpful and, unlike every other bike shop in Tucson, didn’t give me the cold shoulder as soon as I said«I want a step-through» or «I hate mountain biking.» Other shops have racks and racks of road and mountain bikes with a couple of commuters jammed in the back; There and Back is all about the commuter bike and has a great selection of comfortable, stylish, quality bikes. They stock a few big brands, like Giant, but this is the place to go for harder-to-find, higher quality brands(but still reasonably priced). The selection of bicycle accessories is also notable for style, quality, and uniqueness. I bought a kick-ass set of grey canvas saddle bags for carrying my laptop and groceries and a really bright solar powered headlamp here. I get so many compliments on the stuff I bought from There and Back that it’s a little inconvenient. The service is awesome. Steve is constantly giving me deals and throwing in extras for free. Don’t miss the free bike-to-work breakfast — check the web site for the schedule. Also, there is currently no sign up and it’s hard to tell that it’s open, just look for the window with the pretty bicycles in it between 1702 and Bentley’s.
