Depending on what time of day you go, I would give this place different ratings. Breakfast time is 5 stars! You get the most bang for your buck, and the pastries are fresher. Dinner and lunch time is meh. The food is good then, but more over-priced. I got the tortilla soup and it was $ 8 for a shallow bowl of soup with 8 weak, soggy tortilla chips. The soup itself was nice and flavorful, but there wasn’t much in it. Not worth the price. I would come back again, but I would not order that soup again.

Disclaimer: services is whatever to me in a non waiter staffed restaurant. It’s all about the food. I have loved everything I have eaten there. I have to say most food in Tucson tends to be over seasoned… over cooked… not really ethnic. Or just straight overkill.(Really need to redo the blogs here) Breakfast: the pancakes are A++++. They are light… the pecan butter is just perfect and the maple syrup isn’t aunt jemima. It’s like real!!!, compared to high priced breakfast joints around here. We got their omelet special also amazing filled with ingredients. Lunch: pasta plus salad, amazing. Real salad too… with homemade dressing! I got pesto, that’s what I recommend. Also got the steak salad, absolutely a MUST to get it together with the avocado dressing. Strawberry rhubarb pie… perfect and not too sweet. Basically this place is consistent, delicious, health conscious. Never had an issue with the service.

We love B-Line…The food is always delicious and service is great. Everything alway tastes so fresh. The chicken tacos are so good and for dessert you can never go wrong with the banana cream pie! Atmosphere is always cozy and relaxed. Great little place.

Just Walked in and the lady working there(probably a manager) told us we could not sit down without ordering first. We instantly walked out of the restaurant because she could have greeted us in a much nicer way and told us politely but She said«YOUCANNOTSITDOWNUNTILYOUORDERWEAREVERYBUSYANDEVERYONENEEDS A SEAT». Lost our business. She was completely rude.

I was so excited to eat here as this is my last day living in Tucson; however, all I was served was a full helping of disappointment. My friend and I got in line to order while another member of our group went to grab a table. A woman with brown hair came up and told us that we had to wait in line before we could grab seats with the amount of condescension you’d give your dog after they crap in your house. The most important thing of dinning out is service. Without service, B-line is nothing but a kitchen with rude chefs. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. If you want better food with better service, go to Goodness. Hope this helps you avoid this disastrous business.

B Line is a very cozy restaurant. I enjoyed a delicious meal and drink and I will definitely be back, but I will save room for dessert next time. I highly recommend it!

I come here all the time and I always like to try something new. For breakfast, their crepes had to have been the best I’ve had in Tucson so far. Their burritos are so flavorful and filling you’re really getting your money’s worth. Everytime I go I have to try their dessert, so far my favorite is the raspberry rhubarb, the most amazing pie I’ve ever had. Also make sure you try their cappuccino and take look at their drink selection!

One of my favorite places in Tucson for a casual meal. A great place to dine alone or with friends. Their menu, while simple, is consistently high quality. My favorites are the chicken tacos, the«half ‘n’ half» pasta dishes, and the steak salad. But it’s all good!

The B-Line gets 5 stars for the food and 2 – 3 stars for the service, depending on who helps you. First of all, I love the restaurant. It’s an adorable mix of diner and café, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a casual meal while reading or studying. It’s pretty small and gets really busy on weekend mornings, but that’s just the way it goes. You order your meal at the counter, which is great when you’re in a hurry. The food never fails, especially their breakfast items. Everything is homemade, high quality and absolutely delicious. The eggs are fluffy, the pancakes are luscious and the baked goods are dynamite! On the weekend, they make buttery biscuits with berry jam. Definitely worth waiting for! Their iced chai is the best I’ve ever had. The food is the number one reason I will always return. On the downside, their service is nothing special. On a good day, the staff is cordial. On a bad day, they’re straight up rude. When your food is ready, they simply serve it to you, but they never ask if you need anything, nor do they bother to fill your coffee(which, by the way, always gets cold immediately). It would be nice if they had a server who could walk around to check on the patrons. The other thing that bothers me is how they serve the eggs on top of the pancakes for the 2X2 combo. Who wants to eat their eggs with syrup laden pancakes? Just put them on two separate plates like every other restaurant!

So the wife took me there on Friday, the place is nice, quaint and very clean. the food was very tasty and the presentation was awesome. The wife got the fish tacos and I got the carne asada tacos, we split plates so we could both try the other. Was not disappointed at all. Deserves a 2nd, and many more visits. anxious to try there breakfast.

I ordered the Veggie burrito without a flour tortilla, and they gladly subbed corn instead. Many food options, wine, and sweets. They were friendly and happy to accommodate my gluten free and vegetarian needs. I love the atmosphere and menu. You can also hang out and study, read, or watch the passers by at their window bar.

Perfect, quaint spot when I arrived on a drizzly Sunday morning. Tasty egg breakfast with coffee. Very well done bread which(I believe) they make and bake on site, which I paired with their homemade jam! Though I’m not typically a bar-sitter, my friend and I made ourselves comfortable at the bar facing the window and was pleased to have my breakfast with a view!

The coffee = yum and the biscuits w/jam = yum yum. Getting there on the earlier side is recommended because it seems to get pretty crowded mid-morning. All in all, a great casual breakfast spot.

Headed to this little quaint place just because i was in the neighborhood but ended up being pleasantly surprised. Didnt know much about it and when i walked in, it was small and cozy. Made me feel i was in a busy downtown, including seating by the windows to people watch. The menu is printed and up on a blackboard. They offer everything from breakfast to booze :) Local offerings and in house specialties. You must try the home made Maple Scones! Absolutely wonderful! The service was very pleasant, but when it gets busy, its so busy that sometimes the wait is unbearable. Make sure to check it out the first time during down hours. The only reason it only got 3 stars was because of the poor service when it got busy. The staff was so overwhelmed that some people got ignored. The prices are reasonable for locally made awesomeness but wont break the bank for the portion sizes you get. Ive also been told to try the fish tacos, although I went with the quesadilla(yum!) All in all, head up a little farther north on 4th ave than you are used to and check this little place out! Faves: maple scones

One of my favorites in Tucson. Their service is always good and food quality is excellent. I order breakfast burritos mostly. Green chilli is yummy in the burrito. My second favorite mahi fish tacos. Their salsa is consistently delicious with right amount of hotness. They have a good selection of tea as well. It is a small place that gets filled up easily. Their music is always quikishly enjoyable! The only complaint? I think the food portions are getting smaller(or my tummy is getting fatter and bigger — that can’t be true, right?).

I enjoyed my dining experience here! The food and ambiance of this place is really neat. It’s a great place to grab a bite and a beer and watch the people go by along 4th avenue. The menu is a take on Mexican food, along with a few sandwiches. They also have a pretty nice craft beer selection. I enjoyed the feta jack burrito while my girlfriend had the chicken burrito. The feta jack burrito was pretty tasty, although I would have like a little more cheese in it. I enjoyed it, regardless and I would definitely come back for another one, although I would also like to try other menu items. I also want to try the breakfast food here.

This is a cool little spot right on 4th. Big windows with bar stool seating so you can look out and people watch. When you walk up to the counter to order they have all the specials laid out for you on a board and they also have a dessert case that smacks you right in the face and tempts you with all its goodness. It was breakfast time, so I’ll have to go back to try one of the desserts. Anyway, ended up ordering the Carne Asada breakfast burrito. My partner ordered the Chorizo breakfast burrito. My Carne Asada was a little bland on flavoring… but her Chorizo breakfast burrito was ON point! So much flavor spilling out of it. It really saved the experience since she was kind and we traded halves. All in all it was a good, filling breakfast. The end.

I’ve seen others compliment the fish tacos, and they were absolutely right! Super fresh, no excess grease, and accompanied with an excellent sauce. I also had the chance to try the carne asada burrito. It was a great portion, the greens were grilled well with spices, and there was a good ratio of meat, cheese, and rice. The location was super clean and open. Our wait time was also minimal. While it is slightly more expensive than semi-comparable places like Chipotle. There are significantly more options, and plenty of desserts available, and after placing your order you have the chance to sit down immediately versus standing in line. I would definitely come back and try some of the desserts that are referenced in other reviews.

Adorable building! So far above most places on 4th Ave! The food oh the food, so fresh so yummy! You can just taste the ethicalness in the eggs! The green chilies that are made in house are to die for… I don’t care what you order get green chillies on it! Ok maybe not on the crep cakes… Which are also amazing! It is a bit loud, every one who is smart in Tucson comes in on Sunday morning for breakfast! :)
