BESTFISHTACOSINTOWN I’ve been coming here from several years now and I still haven’t found any place better. I’ve watch this literally hidden shop turn from outdoor stand, to «indoor» brick building with a garage door overhead covering with marble tables to eat on. Prices went from $ 1.50 to now ~$ 3.00/taco, but hey business is business and I’m happy to see that they are doing well. Although prices have risen, they still have NOT skimped on the meat thats given. Theres so much that I usually use that extra tortilla to split my one taco into 2! I love it! Tacos come with no toppings but they have their own salsa bar where you can add your own lettuce/lime/salsa/sauces which sometimes is better if you a picky eater. I’ve pretty much tried all their different types of tacos now and I can’t say I’ve had a bad one. It just depends on your mood of the day. This place is pretty small and hidden with a small parking lot, so drive slow when you are near! Environment: 4⁄5 Food: 5⁄5 Price: 4⁄5 Service: 4⁄5

Delicious! Best bet is probably the«Taco Gordo», which combines(breaded, fried) fish and shrimp with chiles and shredded marlin. But, really, you can’t go wrong, unless you don’t want fish tacos, in which case… well, you probably shouldn’t be here.

The food was good. Only problem is that the dining area is outside and it’s a battle with the flies that are everywhere.

Been here so many times and still loving their food. The fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and marlin tacos are all outstanding. The parking lot can fill up really fast so you might want to get here early to avoid the lunch crowd.

Excellent cuisine, but the menu sign is inaccurate, and needs updating. Large drinks prices are 4.50, but the only price on the sign is 2 bucks. This caused unnecessary confusion.

Omg I cannot explain how delicious this place is its puts me in a great mood. i ordered a fish taco with cerviche tostada the fish is amazingly cook with a great flavor. The cerviche great amount of food and very affordable. It looks like a garage or food from a taco truck but the food is great and the area is clean

The food is good and it can get expensive but otherwise good. I really like the shrimp soup, shrimp tacos, or the chili cheese taco. I like going here but only if I’m ready to spend money.

This place is tucked away from the road with a non-descript sign. I drove right past it and had to turn around and drive back to finally find it, but so glad I did! Both the fish and the shrimp tacos here were outstanding. As good as the best I had just eaten down in southern Baja. Portions tip towards the large side, so 2 tacos with 3 tortillas was enough to make myself 3 hearty tacos thanks to the serve-yourself toppings bar. Loved the cole slaw-style shredded cabbage and sauce, and the chipotle sauce was excellent as well. To complete the experience, they also had excellent Limonada with mineral water– just like being back in Mexico! While most great fish taco places are often food trucks or corner street stands, this particular location offers a nice indoor setting with granite tabletops and comfortable seating. Gourmet fish taco dining at its best!!!

Loved it! The Taco Gordo was great, as was the Shrimp Taco. Great food, and very friendly service. If I lived here, I’d come by every week.

This place is tricky to find. I drove right past it and had to flip a U-turn. But it was totally worth it. The interior is charming. It has a covered patio, charming fish decorations, and a hand-washing sink. It reminds me of a San Carlos taqueria. I had the taco de marlin(swordfish taco) and the taco campechano. Boyfriend and I also split the cocktail de cameron(shrimp cocktail). The cameron was mediocre, and probably the lamest thing about our visit. It wasn’t priced badly($ 8 for about 12 oz), but it was shockingly bland. THOSETACOSTHO. Oh my god. Best fish tacos ever. I loved the marlin taco. Somehow, Taco Fish has perfected battering and frying fish. It was delectable and perfectly crispy without being over-fried or too greasy. I got my tacos all gussied up with some salsa, lime, and coleslaw. Their salsa alone is to-die-for and oh so spicy! The taco campechano was sooo good. I was expecting shrimp and fish served separately, but instead they were shredded and seasoned in an orgasmic blend. Very hearty, for a taco! The only thing that kind of sucks is you have to buy soda by the can… but, whatever. That’s a small price to pay for some of Tucson’s finest fish tacos. I cannot believe I’ve lived in Tucson for 8 years and yesterday was my first time eating here. I haven’t been living. It’s sad. But at least now I know. Check this place out!

Was ok. The best part was the salsa and fixings. The fish was really greasy, I prefer Rubios if I get a fish taco. Was really small and expensive. What is up with expensive fish tacos here?

I love their shrimp tacos and shrimp tostadas so fresh and full of flavor. Love the assortment of sauces and garnishing too. The place is very well kept, pretty, and clean.

I loved this place! I was visiting for a short time with my family and I brought my parents to Taco Fish. Finding the place was a little challenging and parking was crowded, but we made it with one wrong turn They’d never had fish tacos before. I love fish tacos and I was thrilled with the food. I loved the different toppings and condiments. My parents tried the shrimp and plain fish and they were also happy with their orders. I would definitely return if I go back to Tucson!

This is really my second review of Taco Fish, but first for this location. Like I said for the truck one on Stone, BESTFISHTACO and BESTSHRIMP in Tucson. Its made so simple and you add the condiments as you please. All the sauces are wonderful. My bf and I make sure we get a fish and shrimp taco each. We share the ceviche and anything else we feel like getting for the day. This place is built really funny. Its like a permanently covered patio dining area. So its like they bought the building and it was only big enough to put a kitchen in it. So they place patio chairs outside and built a huge wall to make it look like they extended the building but once you walk into the restaurant its still open-ish in the back area. I’m really not bothered by it. I think it was a clever way to make use of space. Everything is kept very nice and clean as always. This is the spot Tucsonians!!!
