Another AYCE (All you can eat) sushi place! Yes I can eat a lot! $ 21.95 for all you can eat or if you don’t eat much you can also enjoy lunch happy hour which is all the same items on AYCE but ½ off!
I’d have to to say this would be the second best AYCE location for sushi. They do have rolls and items on the AYCE menu that other sushi places don’t have. For example I am a big fan of hand rolls. There is a lot of different hand roll verities (Eel, salmon skin, calamari, spicy tuna) as other places just have one main hand roll filled with crab.
The quality of the fish would be a 4/​5, I didn’t experience any old fish and the the texture and taste was great.
The only downfall I found was that I feel they do pack on more rice into the rolls and use less fish. Not sure if it was their way to trick you for AYCE by making you full from the rice carbohydrates so one can’t eat too much. However I was still able to eat my $ 133.50 worth of sushi for only $ 21.95 excluding tax and tip. Still worth it.

I’ve been coming here for about 5 years, and I have to say you won’t find a better sushi restaurant in central Tucson. (Or nearly all of Tucson). I’ve tried the Sushi Garden’s and the Ra’s Tucson has to offer, and all those fancy-​pants ‘spend all their budget on image’ places serve is dead, over priced fish.
The happy hour here is what will keep you coming back. ½ off everything on the sushi menu, and with already affordable prices you might actually be able to afford some sake with your sushi without having to eat ramen for the rest of the week.
Don’t waste your money, Sushi-​Ten can’t be beat

So in all fairness… you were second choice tonight. We were hoping to dine at Sushi Garden because we wanted an all you can eat Sushi dining experience. As luck or lack of luck would have it, the power grid failed and our first choice had no electricity. Since this place had some decent reviews, we decided it was a good runner up.
We were seated and greeted quickly. First round of beer and sake was delivered in a pleasantly fast manner. Ordering was a bit awkward. Our party arrived in stages, so we weren’t altogether sure what we wanted in terms of appetizers and dinners. We were celebrating promotions and other things, so we were in no hurry. Yet as we were discussing and deciding, suddenly miso soup appeared. Now the miso was delicious, top shelf in Tucson. I don’t want to take away from that. But… the timing just made it seem rushed. So of course we went ahead and ordered both our appetizer and dinner. Things seemed to smooth a bit and the brought a delicious bowl of edamame. Then our appetizer of calamari arrived. To say it was extremely chewy is an understatement. It was like leather. The sauce was the savior here, but not by much.
4 of us went with the all you can eat sushi and one ordered a regular meal. Those of us ordering sushi received our meals first. The lone meal order waited, and waited, and waited. This means that the sushi orderers waited, and waited, and waited. That is etiquette right? And it took a l-​o-​n-​g time for the lone meal orderer to get her food. And the worst part… she was the one treating everyone else. Sigh.
Finally everyone received their meals and we could eat. Now some things were fresh and tasty. The yellowtail nigiri was the best I thought. I didn’t really care for the rainbow roll because it had cream cheese in it. At the end of the day it was a pricey but not overly exciting experience. I’m not sure I would return.

Their happy hour is amazing! I went with a few of my friends and we got there at 4:45 on a Friday since the happy hour closed earlier that day. We were able to order in time for the half-​off sushi’s. I very highly recommend going to their happy hours, because they have lots of options to choose from, and everything on the menu is half off.
With every order, you get complementary miso soup and a choice of salad or edamame. They also have all-​you-​can-​eat options for about $ 20. My friend got that, and she was able to try lots of different sushi’s — she told me that her favorite was the «Kiss Me» roll that had pink soy paper wrapped around. I also was able to try some of my other friend’s Vegas roll, which had a lot of fish inside it. I personally got the Rainbow roll, which I enjoyed.
The waitress was attentive and took care of us well, which was especially nice since we were a pretty big group. She didn’t seem to mind recalculating the order when we asked for desserts after she came out with the check, so thank you to that waitress! They had lots of ice cream flavors to choose from, including mango, green tea, and red bean. My friend got the green tea ice cream, and my other friend got the vanilla fried ice cream, which he described: «tastes like banana bread on the outside».

Amazing! Great food and fast service. You get your miso soup as soon as you sit down.

My go-​to sushi joint. Absolutely adore their nigiri and rainbow roll. Each roll comes with miso soup or soybeans to start you off while you wait. You get seated right when you walk through the door– even during happy hour/​lunch hour. Amazingly, your food comes out fast, and doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommend!

When you are craving sushi and don’t want to spend a lot of money, Sushi-​Ten has a great half-​off happy hour. Be careful going during peak lunch or peak dinner because service may get slow. Happy hour (s) are M-​Th 11−7PM and Fri-​Sat 11−5PM. Food is pretty consistent and since I’m a regular, they give me a warm greeting at the door. They have a wide assortment of bento boxes that are priced reasonable.

You can’t beat the $ 20 AYCE deal. Or their Happy Hour for that matter. My boyfriend and I (we can eat a lot of sushi) pay about $ 20 – 35 for happy hour and get about 4 – 5 rolls + some nigiri. It’s a great deal (half off all sushi and nigiri). Happy hour comes with miso soup and edamame beans (or salad but who does that at a sushi joint). The fish is pretty good quality and the rolls are really good (a must try is the Kiss Me Roll). Overall this is my favorite sushi joint in Tucson right now and I love the inexpensive price for the amount of good sushi you can get. Word of advice: get there early. They tend to be slow and often crazy busy (even on a Wednesday night). We like to show up right when they open at 11am, or wait till about 5pm and head over. I can almost guarantee that it will take about 30min to an hour for you to be served your order, so go before it gets too busy or before you get too hungry!

Cheapest happy hour in town! The fish isn’t the freshest, but it is so cheap during happy hour and the fried/​special rolls are all good.

My first time here, boyfriend took me~ the place was clean looking so that was a plus. Wasn’t too overcrowded, on a good part of town. Went in for the sushi buffet in the afternoon, little bit of a wait nothing too long. Fish was kind of warm and for sushi kind of put me off. It was the kind of warm like as if it had been sitting out. I ate it anyways ofcourse because it was still tastey so if i get sick that is on me. But it should definitely be checked for freshness prior to serving. I filled up on one large plate of rolls, and some misc. This place for the price of the buffet I find well worth it. It was super yummy. my only complaint is that my sushi was a bit warm compared to what i’m used to and it raised concerns. I’ll definitely be making a return trip!

I come here often for lunch and am always pleased with both the service and food quality. The servers are friendly and quick to bring miso soup and edamame or salad, which many places in town don’t offer for free with your meal. I’m not a raw fish gal, so I stick mainly to rolls. They’re consistently good, well rolled (don’t fall apart when eating), and well priced. They have a happy hour daily from 11 — 7 weekdays and 11 — Friday and Saturday with half price sushi, a great deal. The décor leaves a bit to be desired, a little run down and in need of a good coat of paint. Overall, a good meal for a great price.

Fresh food and friendly staff who get along very well from kitchen to servers. $ 20 for all-​you-​can-​eat that is worth the pretty penny but be careful not to over-​order! The rolls tend to be very dense with rice, resulting them to be slightly dry to the bite. It makes you full fast while they potentially lose out on future business through lessened experience– no one wins in that game!
I will definitely come back though, as price is fair and the ambiance is good.

Good sushi! They have an all you can eat menu with scaled prices for kids, which is great when you have a 10 year old who can pack down a few rolls and some nigiri in one sitting. Service is a little slow but like many sushi bars, they get backed up at lunch time.
Rolls are good, not stellar but good. Get the edamame and not the salad!

All you can eat sushi is a smoking deal for the price and the selection but I’m not crazy about the quality of the sushi itself. Service and ambiance need an upgrade also. So it just depends on what is most important to you quantity or quality.

It was a struggle deciding if this was a 2-​star or 3-​star place.
On one hand, the sushi is pretty decent– we had a few rolls that were all pretty good, perhaps somewhat better than Sushi Garden and definitely better than Yoshimatsu and Takamatsu. (Kazoku and Ra Sushi being superior in quality/​taste).
The service was good as well, fast and friendly.
You do get a free miso soup and either edamame or salad– but the salad was the most bizarre salad I’ve ever been served in a restaurant, and seemed like it was just unfrozen, with a somewhat rotten flavor with a frozen texture. I say it’s better to not serve something free than to serve something crappy.
People complain about the décor, but it really wasn’t as disgusting as the other reviews make it out to be. It’s simple, nothing fancy or cool, but just casual. I wouldn’t roll around on the carpet but it’s typical of a low-​key joint. The bathroom did need more service attention though.
Overall a-​OK typical Tucson-​quality sushi.

Not sure what all the hype is about with this place. Wait staff takes forever, from greeting you, to taking the sushi order then when the food does arrive the sushi leaves much to be desired.
I love sushi and this is the worst I’ve had in Tucson so far.
Our waitress was friendly. that’s the most I can say for this place.

I’ve been coming to Sushi Ten for at least 10 years now and I have to say, this restaurant has slowly been going downhill. I used to love this place, the service, décor, the freshness of the rolls.
Nowadays, they have cut back on a lot. Rolls are mediocrely decent — lots of rice, cream cheese, and carrots?! Service is hit or miss. I like the complimentary edamame or salad and looove the happy hour times and prices. But that’s pretty much it. If your looking for just an okay cheap sushi place, then this is your place.

What a delicious little place! Some friends took me for dinner last night and it was succulent! The bowl of miso soup they greet you with is light but very flavorful, the you can choose between edamame or salad, I had the edamame which were fine.
We ordered the sashimi that had tuna, salmon and white fish, the salmon was like butter, gorgeous, the tuna was really fresh !!! We also tucked into the kiss me roll which has pink seaweed, I had never seen that and it was really cute, something you would expect animé girls to eat!
Overall very good quality fish and good price point, will return.

This review is based on some picky sushi eaters in my family.
So the family was super excited about trying a new Sushi spot and that was the Sunday’s dinner choice and so I decided to pick this spot based on previous Unilocal Reviews ( Unilocal plugin). I absolutely loved this place (but I didnt order Sushi)! I ordered teriyaki Chicken — which looked so yummy that I couldnt wait to eat and therefore did not get a pic (total Unilocal pic missed opportunity)! Oh and I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice — first off huge big plate serving and enough for 2 – 3 peeps and the chicken was actualy cooked very well it was super yummy!
Now on to why they didnt get a 5 star rating — my husband and step-​son ordered: the Avacado, Las Vegas, and Cali roll and honestly i couldnt really tell which was which. They were large heaping rolls but all I saw was them picking all sorts of stuff out of them. Now for someone that loves large pieces a raw salmon this is your spot but for my picky sushi eaters it was not. The presentation of the rolls was amazing they just werent to thrilled with the way they tasted. (i do have a pic added for the Sushi).
Now everyone was very nice didnt see too much of them but they were nice. We probably wont go back which makes me sad but dont hesitate to give this place a try it may work for you!
