Scoot Over

Love the vibe and customer service from Scoot Over. Shelby was amazing to work with and very accommodating. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a scooter or needing repair to visit this shop!

During a recent visit to Tucson, AZ I needed to have my rear scooter tire replaced. This was a short notice visit as I was unaware that my rear scooter tire needed to be replaced. Upon arrival at Scoot Over I entered the store requesting to know if they could do a tire replacement on short notice. The employee behind the counter asked to look at my scooter tire to see if it needed to be replaced. After inspecting my scooter tire he told me that the tire needed to be replaced. I requested to know if he could have my rear tire replaced on such short notice. Back in the store he told me that he would be able to replace my damaged rear scooter tire. After I signed all the required paperwork he gave me a free coupon for a complimentary cup of coffee at a nearby coffee shop. Long story short, I returned a little over an hour later to find that they had replaced my rear scooter tire at a very reasonable price. I can’t speak more highly at the professionalism this scooter shop emulated. I am planning on moving to Tucson in the near future. I will be doing business with «Scoot Over» again in the future.

I cant say enough good things about this place & our Scooter buying experience. If I could I would love to give Shelby and the team at Scoot Over 10 stars. After our Volvo was totaled in Jan, we decided to save some $$ and use one car. Yea, its Tucson and that lasted a few months, so we were considering Scooters. After doing some research we headed over to ScootOver & we had the pleasure of meeting Shelby. Right off the bat, she asked us what our transportation needs were/​would be & went to work explaining the various Scooters she sold and what would be the best. After about a month of deciding & going in a couple of times (without buying anything) to ask more questions, we decided on a Buddy 170i. Perfect choice. We picked up this weekend & love it! Thank you Shelby and team, you ROCK!

I am sorry to read the low star reviews and honestly cant understand them. This was one of the best sales experiences we ever had. Not only did we get the right Scooter, Shelby and everyone else there went out of their way to answer questions, listen to concerns, as well as let us know about the local Scooter clubs and events.

I stopped by to check it out because I’m in the market for a scooter or small motorcycle. I was the only customer. None of the three employees there bothered to acknowledge me in any way. They continued their conversation, every other word of which was profanity. After hearing about 50 or so «f» bombs I just left. Crude, classless people. I won’t be back.

The service department is a joke and it seems the owner could care less. Be forewarned, scooters come out of that shop improperly set up according to one fellow
who knows bikes. I had some mods done to my bike like turn signals and the mechanic set it up backwards, in effect, hit the right turn switch and bike signals a left turn! Does that suggest to you that the mechanic checked his work before releasing the scoot?

I have never purchased a Scooter from here but I know plenty of people that have. I have had the chance to meet the owners and was impressed with their positive attitude and support for the local scooter scene.

I have gone here twice looking for parts trying to buy local with no luck. They are friendly but unless you buy their scooter forget getting parts there. For scooter parts try Power Sports on 22^nd and Kolb, they don’t sell scooters but they have tons of motorcycle parts that WILL work for scooters, and you don’t have to pay shipping.

Not long ago I got a reply of sorts concerning my review. I tend to think it was from an employee at Scoot Over as he mentioned something I hadn’t said in my review.
This person suggested I ‘should have screwed those mirrors on with my tight a**’ among other things.
I will be looking for someone else to do warranty work and any work after the warranty. I’ve heard good things about a new place in town so I will be checking it out. I will contact Genuine to see who else in the area is ok’d to do warranty work.
It’s really sad that such a simple thing as an improperly installed rear view mirror has come to this. I love my scooter, but I don’t love Scoot Over.

I’ve only purchase a few accessories for my Buddy scooter there, but such nice people. I know of no other store that gets so involved with the local scooter community… I run the Phoenix Scooter Club, and they even reach out to me and my members. Just good people and they have great scooter selection.

My girlfriend and I just got back from a trip to Thailand and half the vehicles on the road are scooters because of the high price of gas. They get around faster in traffic and besides using less fuel, they pollute the environment less. Face it, with gas prices approaching $ 3.50 to $ 4.00 a gallon the time has come for us to do the same. We looked at Craig’s list and many other shops, but ended up going back to ScootOver. On our third trip there we both decided to get scooters here because of the way we have been treated when we were just looking. Even though we both bought scooters that were on consignment they treated us as if we were buying new bikes. They delivered the bikes free and even gave us discounts on some accessories. I’m sure there are other good places out there but we had a perfect experience at ScootOver.

With the economy in the dumps and everyone struggling to stay employed and make ends meet, more and more folks are turning to alternative forms of transportation to get from here to there. Well, if you’re looking at a two-​wheeled alternative, you can’t do any better than a scooter!
And if you’re looking for a scooter in Tucson, Scoot Over is the place to go. Their staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and can help you out with everything from choosing the right bike to fitting you with protective equipment. Not only that, but the Scoot Over folks love this stuff so much that they have put lots of time and energy into participating in a local group called «The Sky Island Riders,» a rag-​tag clan of scooter aficionados who regularly ride together.
As for their products, Scoot Over deals in Stellas, Buddies, Kymcos and more, so if you’re looking for a great selection of really dependable, ultra-​chic, mondo-​fun-​to-​ride machines, you’ve got to scoot by.
A closing note: If you’re married to the mystique of a Vespa, you’ll need to go elsewhere for your moto. They don’t carry them.
