Renegade Classics

I bought chaps, helmets, jackets, t-​shirts and some accessories for my Goldwing from Renegade Classics over the last couple years.
My experience with the staff is positive: they are knowledgeable, friendly, service-​minded. Sometimes I had to wait a bit coz they were swamped during a sale day, but nothing unusual.
They’ve got a good product selection and there’s plenty of choice, especially in leather jackets and vests, helmets and boots. Prices are nice, comparable to online for products of a similar quality. They also offer a 10% discount when I buy something and come back within 30 days. Kinda nice.
The patch sowing service is cool. It’s done on the spot, you walk out with the thing on your back, no need to go back. And they do leather repair so you get to keep your old gear longer.
I like that we have a good local biker outlet in Tucson. Ordering a helmet or chaps or boots online is dicey. Here I try everything on before I buy. Renegade Classics rocks!

This place is great. Never had bad service, don’t understand what Dan is talking about. The ladies here treat everyone with respect even when I have bought a $ 5 item or just wanted to walk around.

$ 4.26 – yup that’s what this is about.
So about 2 month ago, I ordered a saddle bag for my chopper – it came in 4 – 5 weeks later or perhaps that’s just when I picked it up. The color was right, the fit was right and the install was pretty easy. All was good. For dropping some bucks, I was told that would get 10% of for 30 days.
I walked in today and first of all the staff was whining that they had to work. Trust me, if you don’t like being there, I’ll like being there less than you.
Secondly, I asked if they gift wrapped – I was told no this was not an option, no bags, no boxes – nada. Umm – even bikers like gift wrap.
Thirdly – I walked to the cash register and the young lady whining about being there, looked at me and then shot the breeze with a guy behind the sun glasses rack after seeing me at the counter. After about 10 minutes, the one girl asked the girl shooting the stuff to please assist.
Fourthly – and here’s the 4.26. I wanted to buy a shirt for my wife – 42.60 so I asked if I could use my discount – they told me it expired – I said, oh? They said its from the date of purchase. Oh, I said, I guess I picked up the saddle bags over 30 days later.
Me? I drove over specially to get my wife a shirt – won’t happen again. I typically shop at Amazon and again I reminded why.

Oh, what a dangerous store! I like way too much stuff in here!
They have lots of neat stuff in here for motorcycle riders or fans of bikes. I could spend lots of money in here. If you’re looking for leathers, jackets, saddlebags, clothing, etc, this is the place to go. And no, not scary at all! ;-)
