Hello… these are great donuts!.. you ask«what makes you the expert»…my stomach. In my 50’s the last thing i need is to start eating donuts!.. this company does not make a greasy oil soaked product, they are delicate tasty treats to be enjoyed in moderation… nothing wrong with that… I will make it a regular stop each month as should you.Eddie.p.s. super nice people work here…

We had just gone hiking at Tumamoc Hill, and wanted to find a nearby donut shop, and we found this gem. The donuts were excellent, and the couple running the store seemed very friendly. If we ever hike Tumamoc again, or are on that part of town, they’ll have our business for sure!

Can’t really tell a difference versus King Donuts except that Queen has slightly less sugared buttermilk bars, but both are excellent so it’s a win either way you choose.

Worlds friendliest donut shop and they serve Tucson’s best donuts. The raised donuts are the best you will ever have. The shop is clean and offers a wide selection of beverages. This is the must stop donut shop in Tucson.

Best donuts EVER! Stay fresh for more than a few hrs uncovered, longer if wrapped! So tasty and full of flavor and moist. Will keep coming back, earlier in day for more choices

Hands down best donuts that I’ve ever had in Tucson. They’re dense and cakey and oh man I’ve never had a better donut. They’re literally right across the street from me and I fear the weight I will gain from this establishment. They don’t have a huge amount of flavors but what they do have they do it to perfection. I paid $ 4 for 6 donuts and I can say that it’s the best $ 4 that I’ve ever spent on donuts.

Sorry, Queen Donuts, but three strikes and you’re out. I have gone here THREE times now in search of delicious donut holes. Seriously… it was all that I wanted. The first time I went in, I came at 10 am and they were out. I understood and bought regular donuts, which were good but I was left craving the donut holes. Second time I came it was 8 am and I felt that it would be early enough but nope, they were sold out again. Third time was this morning and I came at 6AM!!! I thought that would be early enough to finally get the delicious donut holes but guess what? They were behind on their donut production and didn’t have donut holes! Okay, I really have had enough. They kept pointing to the glass shelves and telling me that’s all they had. Thanks, I get it. I decided not to get anything this time and walked out. I’m still fuming. No more of my business for you, Queen Donuts.

This place is a diamond in the rough! The face front is just a donuts shop but the owners Sar & Sue take pride in their business. They make Amazing donuts and«broaster chicken». The food is always fresh! We tried their potato wedges this last time and they were great too. So if you need a twist on a meal, go see Sar & Sue at Queen Donuts. Try chicken, a donut and some wedges. My favorite is the old fashion with chicken/yummy!!!

Good donuts! I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars, and decided to lean toward 4. The donut holes are especially good– very light and fluffy. :-)

I have seen the big yellow«donut» sign for the past few years but haven’t tried them until today… boy had I been missing some awesome donuts! The regular glazed are light with delish glazing and my other fav was a buttermilk biscuit type of pastry with glazing on it… yum! The customer service was great, highly recommended!

This is the only doughnut place in Tucson I’ve found that gives Le Cave’s a run for its money.(Though it’s really apples and oranges, since Le Cave’s uses unusual flour and Queen is more traditional). I don’t think I’ve ever had doughnuts this light and ethereal. Seriously, one time I got three in a bag and the glazed one was squashed just by the weight of the other doughnuts – that’s how delicate these are. Delicious. Also, the cake doughnuts(which I usually don’t like) are amazingly light and tasty. Dang it, now I’m hungry…

I stumbled upon this location of Queen Donuts by accident one day, and I’m so glad I did. They have a nice selection of reasonably priced donuts of all types, but I really love the fact that they have donut holes for 10 cents each. I tell myself I can eat more of them because they’re small. That’s the«girl math.» I usually call the day ahead to pick up several dozen for various work functions, including some classes we hold. They come in a pretty pink box and always go very quickly. Queen has a drive-through window for your convenience, but I usually walk in. The clerk always has a friendly smile and greets me warmly. When I come in, he looks at me and says, «Donut holes? How many do you want?» He also seems very familiar with the regular customers and often calls out their profession or place of employment, like, «Art teacher, how are you doing? Or, Pima County, what would like today?» Very nice.

I would give this cute place a 4 star had it not been for the second visit I paid them. The first time I went in, I loved it; so many things to choose from. The owners, Cambodian couple, were extremely nice. The second time I went though, I would’ve had a great time had the owner not said his remark. I ordered two things(ham and cheese croissant and a donut). However, I saw like a fee if purchases or below $ 5. So I asked him casually like is there a fee for orders less than $ 5 and he said, «Ya, just a $.50 fee; we get charged for transactions like that.» I said okay, no problem. However, he then said, «That way it will make you lose weight and me make more money.» That took me by surprised. I didn’t think he meant it in a bad way; very jokingly; but I didn’t appreciate that remark. Anyway. I don’t think I will come back to this place; I just not until«I lose weight», haha. I will say their donuts and croissants are very yummy, though.

Best. In. Tucson. Must try. I am a huge fan of this place and so is just about everyone at my work. Co-worker gets donuts for us every Friday after I told him about this gem. Prices are good and Donuts are GREAT. Not to mention the people here are so friendly that I actually want to tip. The lady in the morning always slips a few extra donut holes into my order, shes the best. 5 $ min on cards so if you have cash that is always a plus. Favorite is the glazed cake donut(aka old fashion glazed). You know a place is good when you try a simple normal glazed fluffy Donut and it blows your mind. :)

OK, my third trip here. WOW. How do they do it!!! The maple bars were so light and fluffy. Nothing was greasy. Nothing was too sweet. Perfect. I am not a cake donut fan, but we had one in the box this time to try. WOW again. Light and fluffy, the chocolate flavor was excellent. If I had known that their cake donuts were this good, I would have ordered more. I also had an apple filled Bismark that had a brown sugar coating. Mmmm mmmm mmmm! Again, light and fluffy, not greasy, not overbearingly sweet – perfect! I usually only eat apple filled things because they are there. This was a delight to eat, however. Just a delight. GOTHERE! The best donuts in town. Wheel Donuts are a close second. Or maybe even tied. I guess I’m going to have to go back there, too, to compare! :)(Won’t break my heart.)

Suck it grocery store bakery… Queen Donuts ROCKS! I’ve been going here for years. My son is a donut connoisseur and nothing compares to the donuts in this place. It’s donuts they way they’re supposed to be done… old school! The selection is large, the service is very friendly and the flavor and density of all of their donuts are just outstanding. Don’t let the outer shell of the building or the lingering, shady looking people outside fool you. It may be in a not so great location, but as most of us know, or are learning, that those make for the best and most fabulous food around and this place is no exception! I am so so sad that we’ve moved north. It will take a miracle for me to get back on a Saturday morning. May have to stop by after work on a Friday. P. S. They’re under new ownership so the selection has changed just a bit but the quality hasn’t wavered.

I was in Tucson last week and my wife was wanting a donut. I found Queen Donut on Unilocal, its was on the way to my hotel, and it had a great review, so I decided to try it. I have to say, the first review is right on. The donuts were very good… not oily, not overly sweet, with a good texture and a firm and not gooey frosting. We got cake donuts in the evening, and they were still very fresh tasting. Definitely will go back next time I’m in Tucson.
