Susan did my eyeliner over 10 years ago! I have taken a friend back to her and have another to take! she does a great job plus she’s very clean and friendly! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I have been tattooed 3 times by Susan Alexander. She is a excellent artist and technician. Susan is very careful to keep a sanitized space for working, but the rest of environment she has created feels more like a beautiful bohemian living room, rather than a sterile shop. Susan is flexible, an excellent listener, and delightful to talk to during the tattooing. I will always choose her for new ink. In response to other reviews, Susan’s husband Greg can come off as gruff, but in no way is he scary or mean. He is also a very talented tattooist and painter. By the way, Susan and Greg also run Rain Crow Gallery and Coffee next door. They roast their own coffee beans. Do not leave the premises until you have purchased a divine bag of fresh roasted beans or a piece of art!

I choosed Susan Alexander, because she did 3 tattoos for my daughter. They turned out to be perfect and beautyful. Unfortunatly the lines on my tattoo don’t match. This should never ever happend to a good tattoo artist. Susan offered me to tweak it, match the lines better. Well, I live in MN, its a little drive to Tucson and a good artist should not tweak things after the tattoo is done and healed. I’m not happy with the tattoo and since it’s on my wrist I can’t cover it up.

I started going to Maggie Mays because my brother went there, and I don’t go to any other place now. Susan has done all 6 of my tattoos and they all look amazing. It’s a little pricy so if you don’t want to spend the money I wouldn’t recommend it, but you definitely get your money’s worth!

Maggie Maye’s is awesome! I was in Tucson visiting a friend, and I wanted to get a tattoo to add to the collection. Her mom had gotten one at Maggie Maye’s, so I went to their website( ) to check it out. I found all mixed reviews on the web, like that the owner(Greg) is scary and mean. So I stayed away from him, but I made an appointment with Steve Gray and got inked. Steve was awesome! This is by far the best tattoo I have… not only did he draw a beautiful design, but it’s really really well done. I had co-workers amazed by the quality. Thanks guys! I got a pretty big back piece done, black, grey, and color, custom drawn for $ 250, which was definitely reasonable for the size and quality. Wow!
